There are only two exceptions to this rule:
One is the aggressive robot in the Transmutation Zone, which you are required to destroy to obtain its chip.
The other exception is the robot in the Tiandao Research Center, since that one is already destroyed before you even reach it.
Everything else? Must be handled through Jin, no shortcuts.
Step One – Collecting Every Data Chip Properly
This is honestly the part where most people accidentally ruin their run.
Anytime you come across a robot that can provide a chip, your instinct might be to just fight it or force the outcome. Don’t do that. Instead, always go through Jin to obtain those chips peacefully.
You need to stay consistent with this rule from the beginning all the way through the game. Even one mistake here means the achievement will never trigger later, no matter what else you do correctly afterward.
So if you’re aiming for this achievement, treat every chip interaction like it matters — because it absolutely does.
Step Two – The Extra Items You Must Collect
Once you’ve secured all the data chips the correct way, there’s another part people sometimes overlook. You’ll need to find three specific items and give them to Shuanshuan.
These are:
The Multi-tool Kit.
The Virtual Reality Device.
And the Tiandao Academy Periodical.
That last one comes from the Transmutation Zone — you get it by breaking a bookshelf there. It’s easy to miss if you’re not paying attention, so keep an eye out for it.
When you have all three items, you need to give them to Shuanshuan in the exact order listed above.
Once you’ve handed everything over, you’re not quite done yet.
You’ll need to rest and talk to Shuanshuan multiple times. It doesn’t always trigger immediately, so don’t panic if nothing happens at first. Just keep checking back after resting or progressing a bit further in the story.
Eventually, he’ll build something called the achievement machine.
