I decided to put this guide together to help anyone who wants to see all the endings in Can I Not Fall for Idols? without getting too lost during their playthrough. I’ll keep things as simple and clear as possible, and I’ll avoid unnecessary spoilers so you can still enjoy the story while following the guide.
The game has 8 total endings, and this walkthrough shows the choices you need to make in order to unlock every one of them, including all CGs.
The good news is that the routes in this game are actually pretty easy to unlock. Most of the “correct” choices are fairly obvious once you understand what the game is asking for.
If you’re trying to get 100% completion, it can actually be done pretty quickly. With the SKIP feature for already read scenes, you can finish everything in under two hours.
Can I Not Fall for Idols Walkthrough & Ending Guide
There are two endings tied to your show performance, and these depend on your Show Success stat.
Your choices throughout the game will either increase or decrease this stat. To unlock certain routes later on, you’ll first need to complete the Show Success ending. In order to achieve that ending, you must choose more than 50% of the options that increase Show Success.
Once that requirement is met, you’ll be able to access the other routes in the game.
Ending 1 – Idol Graduation (Show Failure Ending)
To get the failure ending, choose the options that lower your Show Success.
Choice 1: Go with the flow (- Show Success)
Choice 2: Close your eyes (- Show Success)
Choice 3: Get carried away with his imagination (- Show Success)
Choice 4: Open your mouth (- Show Success)
Choice 5: Excite them with a little flirting (- Show Success)
Choice 6: Jealousy is so cute (- Show Success)
Choice 7: Lips (- Show Success)
Choice 8: Poke his cheeks (- Show Success)
Choice 9: Watch from afar (- Show Success)
Choice 10: Even wet, you look cool (- Show Success)
Choice 11: Act like an assertive high school girl (- Show Success)
Choice 12: Imagine you’re the streamer and tease him (- Show Success)
Following these choices will lead you to the Idol Graduation ending.
Ending 5 – Feel My Love Right Beside You (Show Success Ending)
For the Show Success ending, you need to select the options that increase the Show Success stat.
It’s also possible to unlock this ending at the same time as one of the Melonchou endings.
Choice 1: End the livestream (+ Show Success)
Choice 2: Slap him (+ Show Success)
Choice 3: Cut off his imagination (+ Show Success)
Choice 4: Give a warning (+ Show Success)
Choice 5: Keep calmly piling on the salmon roe (+ Show Success)
Choice 6: Clarify (+ Show Success)
Choice 7: Forehead (+ Show Success)
Choice 8: Wake him up (+ Show Success)
Choice 9: Appear cheerfully (+ Show Success)
Choice 10: The cleaning bill is on you, Prince (+ Show Success)
Choice 11: Act like a high school girl (+ Show Success)
Choice 12: Whisper words of encouragement (+ Show Success)
Selecting these will lead you to the Show Success ending.
Melonchou Endings
The Melonchou romance endings are pretty straightforward once you understand how they work.
As long as you have a high Show Success rate, you can easily enter any of the boys’ routes depending on your choices.
There is one important rule though. If you want the good endings with the boys, you need to break up with them before the show when the game asks.
You can also unlock the Show Success ending at the same time as one of these routes, which saves time during completion.
Requirement
High Show Success rate (achieved through the Show Success route mentioned earlier).
Ending 2 – Not Enough for You? (Issa Ending)
Choices during the story:
Issa’s Confession: Accept
- I want to fall in love!!
When the game asks if you want to break up:
- Break up
Ending 3 – Stop Laughing at Me! (Ranmaru Ending)
Choices during the story:
Issa’s Confession: Reject
Ranmaru’s Confession: Accept
- I want to fall in love!!
When asked to break up:
- Break up
Ending 4 – The Taste of Caramel Latte (Otoha Ending)
Choices during the story:
Issa’s Confession: Reject
Ranmaru’s Confession: Reject
Otoha’s Confession: Accept
- I want to fall in love!!
During this route, you’ll also get an outfit choice.
You can pick either option:
- Look cool – Purple jacket with sunglasses
- Look cute – Purple outfit with bows, maid style
When asked to break up:
- Break up
Ending 7 – Fired & On Hiatus (Bad Ending)
To reach this ending, you must accept one of the Melonchou boys’ confessions.
Later, when the game asks whether you want to break up with them before the show, choose:
- Continue dating
To fully complete this ending, you should repeat it with each boy, since each one unlocks a different CG and is required for the final secret routes.
Secret Endings
Once you’ve completed the main routes, the game unlocks a secret character route.
At this point, Reiji becomes dateable, but you need to meet a few conditions first.
Requirements
- Clear all routes in the game
- Complete Ending 7 – Fired & On Hiatus at least once with each boy
- Start a new file afterward
- Complete the Show Success route again while rejecting all Melonchou romance options
- During the playthrough, do not skip any check-ins with Reiji
After starting a new save and finishing the Show Success route again, you’ll unlock the final two endings.
Ending 6 – The Idol I Loved & Our Future (Best Ending)
When the final choice appears, select:
- I can’t!
This leads to the best ending.
Ending 8 – Support Anyone You Want, But- (Reiji Ending)
For the alternate ending, choose:
- For now, I’m afraid not.
This leads to the Reiji ending.
