So I jumped into this thinking it’d be a quick Detective Duck Easter Event 2026, and yeah… it turns into a full-on detective puzzle pretty fast. You get thrown into this super pink chocolate factory with a stolen golden egg case, and honestly, it feels chaotic right away.
You’re told it could be basically anyone — students, staff, even the owner — so you just start poking around and hoping something clicks.
Starting the Investigation
First thing, there’s a bunch of suspects thrown at you, but you don’t really need to decide anything yet. Just start interacting with stuff around the factory.
There are fingerprints near the entrance, but the UV light doesn’t show anything useful. You’ll also notice locked systems and keycard spots pretty early, so you already know you’re going to need one.
Solving the Color Puzzle
There’s this color puzzle that feels confusing at first. I got stuck here longer than I should’ve.
The trick is doing it in the correct order from right to left. Once you line up the colors properly (green, red, brown, purple, then the rest in sequence), it finally works. It’s one of those puzzles that feels obvious after you solve it.
Fixing the Leak and Weird Machine
After that, you’ll find a leaking pipe. Use tape on it to fix the air escaping.
That unlocks access to a machine, but then things get weird. You interact with food and somehow end up eating Easter eggs… which leads to your character needing the toilet. Yeah, seriously.
Getting the Keycard
This part is ridiculous but also kind of funny.
You use the toilet, and somehow a keycard comes out of it. That’s your access card, and yes, it’s exactly as gross as it sounds. Take it and validate it at the scanner.
Using the Decoder
You’ll find a decoder tool and a machine asking for input.
There’s a calculation shown: 3000g total, with 80% chocolate and 20% gold. Entering the correct value gets you through that step, but then it asks for a password, so you’re not done yet.
Draining the Chocolate River
There’s a control panel with buttons you probably ignored at first (I did).
You need to repeatedly press the left button until the chocolate level drops to zero. Once the river is drained, head back and look for a dirty note.
Cleaning the Note for Password
The note looks useless at first.
Take it to the bathroom and wash it, then use a magnifying tool to reveal the hidden text. The password turns out to be “Top factory”, which unlocks the system.
Entering the Code
You’ll come across another code step tied to numbers shown earlier.
Input 667732 into the decoder system to unlock the next area. This opens the path forward into the candy farm section.
Candy Farm Puzzle
In the candy farm, there’s a sequence puzzle where you have to follow the correct order.
Once done, you get a coin. That coin is actually used to open the vent you saw earlier, which moves you further along.
Discovering the Truth
Eventually, you’ll find what looks like the golden egg… but it’s fake.
At this point, the game lets you end the investigation. It really feels like it should be the factory owner, especially with the insurance stuff, but that’s not what happens.
Who Stole the Egg
If you end it, the game reveals it was Andrew — the student.
He used his knowledge of computers to hack the system, avoid alarms, and swap the real egg with a fake one in the chocolate river room. Honestly, not the suspect most people would pick at first, which makes it kind of funny when it’s revealed.
