Pets in Dicero are not just extra damage or filler bonuses. They quietly carry runs, especially once healing and survivability start deciding whether you clear a stage or get wiped halfway through.
If your progress feels stuck even with decent gear, your pet setup is usually the missing piece.
Pets Unlock
You unlock pets around Chapter 15, and the system starts off slow on purpose.
At the beginning:
- Drop rates are low
- You mostly get common or basic pets
- Progress feels underwhelming
But there is a built-in scaling meter. As you summon more:
- Better rarities become more common
- Experience gains improve
- Overall efficiency increases
So early frustration is normal. The system ramps up over time.
How to Get Pet Eggs
There are multiple steady sources, and stacking them daily matters more than lucky pulls.
Daily and Routine Sources
- Daily tasks regularly give pet eggs
- Daily shop often sells eggs for coins
- Sometimes appears in rotating shop slots
If you check the shop daily, you will slowly build a strong supply without spending premium currency.
Homestead and Venture Shop
Once unlocked, this becomes a major source:
- Ventures give currency and pet-related resources
- That currency is spent directly on pet eggs
A simple approach that works well:
Dump most of your venture currency into eggs instead of spreading it around.
Summon Shop (Underrated System)
There is a separate shop inside the summon section:
- Lets you buy pet copies
- Lets you buy pet experience
- Rotates available pets
This is where targeted progression happens.
Instead of relying on luck, you can:
- Save currency
- Wait for specific pets
- Buy copies directly
Leveling Pets
There are two layers to pet progression:
- Leveling using experience
- Upgrading using duplicate copies
Here is something important that is easy to miss:
Experience cost stays consistent across rarities at certain points.
This creates a small optimization trick:
- Lower-level pets are cheaper to upgrade early
- You can boost your total pet level faster by leveling weaker pets first
Why this matters:
- Total pet level increases your overall stats
- Even unused pets contribute to account power
Every 5 Levels
Pet upgrades are not linear.
Every 5 levels:
- The pet’s skill gets stronger
- Effects scale noticeably
This is where pets go from “nice bonus” to “run-saving tool”
Healing and Shields
Damage pets feel strong early. Later, they fall off hard.
What actually carries runs:
- Healing over time
- Shields
- Sustain during boss fights
At higher chapters, most failures happen because:
- You run out of HP
- You cannot survive boss phases
So the strongest pets are built around sustain, not damage.
Dicero Pet Tier List,

Legendary Tier Targets
Cookie Star

These two together form a stable mid-game core.
Mythic Tier Priorities
This is where pets start defining builds.
Chomster
- Healing every few turns
- Increases max HP
- Additional healing effects at higher levels
Very strong for long fights and endurance.
Quick King
- Healing that converts excess into shields
- Adds defense reduction utility
Not just sustain, but also improves damage indirectly.
Mythic Advantage
At level 10:
- Mythic pets unlock a second skill
This is a huge power spike and one of the main reasons to prioritize them long-term.
Damage Pets
There are pets like the battle-focused ones that:
- Hit hard
- Help early clears
They feel strong at first.
But later:
- Damage becomes less of a problem
- Survival becomes everything
That is why most players shift toward sustain-focused builds.
