Unlocking the Fox character in Sledding Game is a fun and rewarding challenge that combines exploration, timing, and precise aiming. At first, the statue and nearby targets may seem confusing, but once you understand how the puzzle works, everything becomes much clearer and much easier to complete.
Find the Fox Statue Location
To begin, you need to reach the correct area on the map. Exit the main lodge and head toward the far-right ski lift, which leads to the freestyle slope. Ride the lift all the way to the top. Once you arrive, look to your right and you should be able to spot a target board. From there, walk straight up the mountain, and you will soon find a stone statue hidden among the trees. This statue is where the puzzle begins.
Puzzle
The puzzle requires you to hit three targets in sequence within a limited time. After hitting the first target, you will have around 15 seconds to hit the next one. Each successful hit refreshes the timer, but if you miss or take too long, the entire sequence resets. You will know you are progressing correctly when the statue’s eyes glow blue after each successful hit.
Target 1 (Start With the Hardest)
It is best to begin with the most difficult shot. From the statue, turn around completely and face downhill. Move toward the edge near a tree and stand in its shadow. From this position, fully charge your throw and carefully aim at the first target. This shot requires the most precision, which is why it should be completed first while you are not under time pressure.
Target 2
After hitting the first target, quickly return to the statue and turn to your left. You will see the second target nearby. Stand close to the statue, fully charge your throw again, and hit this target. Compared to the first one, this shot is much easier and should not take much time.
Target 3
The third and final target is located very close to the statue. This is the easiest shot in the sequence and can be completed quickly as long as you still have time remaining. Focus on finishing the sequence without rushing too much.
Claim the Fox Character
Once all three targets are hit successfully within the time limit, the statue will fully light up. This indicates that the puzzle is complete. Walk up to the statue and press the interaction key (default is F) to unlock the Fox character. After unlocking it, you can equip it from the cosmetics chest.
New Look Achievement
Unlocking the Fox character will also grant you the “New Look” achievement. In some cases, this achievement may not appear immediately and might only show after restarting or closing the game, so do not be concerned if it is delayed.
To make the challenge easier, always use full power for your throws, as this helps maintain consistency and makes aiming adjustments simpler. It is also important to start with the hardest target first so that you do not struggle with it under time pressure later. You can use the marker system by placing a marker with the “1” key and teleporting back to it using the “2” key, which helps with positioning. If you are playing with friends, each player can take responsibility for one target, making the puzzle significantly easier to complete.
