Golden Eggs are some of the most important collectibles in Voidling Bound. Unlike normal Voidlings, anything hatched from a Golden Egg doesn’t appear in the standard genetic tree, making these creatures completely unique. Many of them come with rare mutations, exclusive modules, special abilities, and unique appearances that can’t be obtained through normal progression.
They’re also extremely valuable later in the game once you unlock the Splicing Station. Since Golden Egg Voidlings can possess unique perks and modules, collecting them early gives you far more options when creating powerful endgame builds for Void Strike and other late-game content.
The good news is that you don’t need to finish a mission after finding a Golden Egg. Once you’ve collected it, you can safely return to your ship and keep the reward.
This guide covers every Golden Egg currently known in Voidling Bound.
Centennial Bloom
Reward

This is the first Golden Egg most players will encounter.
From the starting area, head through the first doorway and continue progressing upward through the level. Follow the path toward the upper cliffs, activating the infection nodes to create platforms along the way.
After reaching the higher section of the map, continue climbing until you reach the cliff overlooking the area below. The Golden Egg is sitting near the edge of this upper platform and is difficult to miss once you’ve reached the correct location.
Secret Stronghold

Secret Stronghold contains two Golden Eggs.
Golden Egg #1
Immediately after starting the mission, jump off the nearby platform and drop down to the lower section below. Activate the nearby object and you’ll find the first Golden Egg hidden close to the starting area.
Golden Egg #2
From the location of the first egg, head toward the large building with the antenna on top.
Enter the structure and make your way upstairs. The second Golden Egg is located inside the building.

This mission contains two Golden Eggs.
Golden Egg #1
Progress through the level until reaching the puzzle area.
Complete the puzzle by activating both required switches and opening the locked door. Once inside the newly opened section, continue upward and take the left path.
The first Golden Egg is hidden on a small ledge overlooking the area below.
Golden Egg #2
Continue progressing through the mission until reaching the final cleansing area just before the boss encounter.
Look for a nearby building close to the boss zone. Enter the structure to find the second Golden Egg waiting inside.
Cleaning the Aery

Golden Egg #1
From the mission start, head directly toward the nearby building.
Enter the structure and circle around inside. The first Golden Egg is hidden within the building.
Golden Egg #2
Exit the building and locate the nearby Fire Crystal.
Activating the crystal reveals a path that points directly toward the second Golden Egg’s location.
Follow the revealed route behind the structure to find the second collectible.
Subterranean Expedition

This mission contains a single Golden Egg.
Clear the first combat arena and continue forward into the next section. After clearing the second combat area, you’ll eventually spot the Golden Egg trapped behind an obstacle.
Continue further into the level and defeat the enemies guarding the area. This unlocks access to a Fire Crystal.
Activate the first crystal to open the nearby doorway.
A second Fire Crystal is hidden further ahead. Activate it to melt the large ice formation blocking the Golden Egg.
Once the ice disappears, the Golden Egg can be collected.
Stormbreaker

Clear the opening encounter and proceed through the newly opened doorway.
Continue climbing through the level until reaching the upper platforms.
Look for a distinctive red pond hidden off to one side of the path. The Golden Egg is tucked behind this area and is fairly easy to spot once you’re nearby.

Golden Egg #1
At the very beginning of the mission, turn right and look upward.
You’ll immediately spot the Golden Egg resting high above the starting area.
Climb the nearby terrain and platforms until reaching the top. Players with extra mobility perks can reach it even faster.
Golden Egg #2
After collecting the first egg, drop back down and follow the wall along the left-side ramp.
Continue hugging the wall until reaching a hidden opening containing the second Golden Egg.

Golden Egg #1
Near the beginning of the mission, climb toward the elevated platform overlooking the starting area.
Several purple switches must be activated to open the plant-like barriers blocking your path.
Continue climbing after activating each switch until reaching the top, where the first Golden Egg awaits.
Golden Egg #2
The second Golden Egg can technically be reached very early with strong mobility perks.
However, the easiest method is to progress through the mission normally until reaching the later lift sections.
After unlocking the appropriate route, use the lift system to reach the hidden platform containing the second Golden Egg.
Players with Triple Jump can potentially shortcut directly to the location much earlier.

Golden Egg #1
Progress through the opening platforming section and continue climbing toward the highest part of the map.
Follow the hidden route around the mountain until reaching a secluded upper area.
The first Golden Egg is located at the summit.
Golden Egg #2
Return to the central chamber and continue progressing through the level.
Complete the objective that opens the next path and proceed through the lift section.
After reaching the upper platforms, head left toward the corrupted structures.
Destroy the nearby objects and you’ll discover the second Golden Egg hidden behind them.

Golden Egg rewards are saved immediately after collection.
- You do not need to finish the mission to keep them.
- Several eggs can be reached early using movement perks such as Triple Jump.
- Golden Egg Voidlings often provide some of the strongest mutation options in the game.
- Collecting them all is essential if you’re aiming for full Voidpedia completion.
- The Splicing Station becomes much more powerful once every Golden Egg Voidling has been unlocked.
