While nearly every Uber can find a use somewhere in the game, some units consistently outperform the rest thanks to their versatility, damage output, crowd control, survivability, or unique abilities.
This tier list ranks all Uber Rare and Legend Rare Cats featured in Version 15.4, from the game-defining monsters at the top of the meta to the more niche and situational picks near the bottom.
How to Read This Tier List
Before looking at the rankings, it’s important to understand the icons and notes used throughout the Version 15.4 tier list.
Legend Rare Units
Legend Rare units are ranked alongside Uber Rare units because they fill similar roles and are often among the strongest characters in the game.
Keep in mind that Legend Rares require Legend Catseyes to level beyond Level 30 and cannot reach Level 60 like Uber Rare units.
Level 60 Required
Some units have abilities, talents, or forms that are only fully unlocked once they reach Level 60.
Reaching Level 60 requires Dark Catseyes, which are among the rarest upgrade materials in The Battle Cats. Because of their rarity, players should carefully consider whether a particular unit is worth the investment.
Talents Required
Units marked with the Talent icon rely heavily on Talents to reach their full potential.
Talents require NP to unlock and upgrade. Since NP is a valuable resource, it’s usually best to prioritize talents that provide meaningful improvements rather than spending NP on every available upgrade.
Cat Combos
Some units can activate Cat Combos when placed in your lineup.
Strong Cat Combos can significantly improve a unit’s effectiveness. Bonuses such as Research Up, Attack Up, Worker Cat Up, or Starting Money Up can sometimes raise a unit’s practical value far beyond what its raw stats suggest.
Talent Orbs
Talent Orbs can benefit any unit, but some gain more value from them than others.
Generally, units with two Orb slots or Mini-Surge abilities receive the greatest benefit from Talent Orb optimization.
It’s important to note that Talent Orbs do not affect a unit’s placement in this tier list.
