Covenants are one of the most important progression systems in Morimens. After unlocking them at Keeper Level 25, they become a major source of power for your Awakeners, providing everything from Critical Rate and Damage Amplification to Keyflare generation and Aliemus regeneration.
While obtaining a six-piece set is relatively straightforward, building a truly optimized Covenant setup takes a significant amount of time and resources. Knowing which stats to prioritize, which sets are worth farming first, and how to spend your Stamps efficiently can save weeks of grinding.
This Morimens Covenant Guide covers everything you need to know about Covenants, including main stats, sub stats, stat priorities, beginner-friendly sets, and the best DPS-focused Covenant builds.
Morimens Covenant Guide – Best Sets, Stats, Build Priorities
Once you reach Keeper Level 25, each Awakener gains access to six Covenant slots.
Equipping Covenant pieces grants bonuses depending on how many pieces of the same set you wear:
- 3 Pieces: Activates the set’s basic bonus.
- 6 Pieces: Activates the set’s unique effect.
Some Covenant effects are Team Unique, meaning only one copy of the effect can be active across your entire team.
Because of this limitation, certain support-oriented Covenant sets are usually built once and shared between multiple Awakeners rather than duplicated.
Covenant Main Stats Explained
Every Covenant piece belongs to one of six slots, numbered I through VI.
Each slot can only roll specific main stats.
| Slot | Possible Main Stats |
|---|---|
| I | Crit DMG, Crit Rate, Aliemus Regen, Keyflare Regen |
| II | Crit DMG, Crit Rate, Realm Mastery, Sigil Yield |
| III | Crit DMG, Crit Rate, Damage Amplification, Death Resistance |
| IV | Aliemus Regen, Realm Mastery, Keyflare Regen, Sigil Yield |
| V | Aliemus Regen, Damage Amplification, Keyflare Regen, Death Resistance |
| VI | Realm Mastery, Damage Amplification, Sigil Yield, Death Resistance |
At Keeper Level 35, Covenant pieces can be upgraded to +12 using Thousand Face Seals.
Every four upgrade levels increase the cost required for further upgrades.
If you decide to replace a Covenant later, dismantling it will refund the Seals used for upgrading while also providing Covenant Remnants. These remnants can then be exchanged for additional resources.
Covenant Sub Stats
Sub Stats become available at Keeper Level 45.
Every newly obtained Covenant piece will automatically come with three random sub stats. Older pieces can be updated using Stamps to add sub stats if they were acquired before reaching Level 45.
You can reroll sub stats as often as desired, although doing so quickly becomes resource-intensive.
Players can lock sub stats during rerolls using Remembrance Quills:
- Locking one stat costs 1 Quill per reroll.
- Locking two stats costs 10 Quills per reroll.
Because of this massive increase in cost, it is generally better to settle for two strong sub stats and move on rather than endlessly chase perfect rolls.
Best Stat Priorities
DPS Stat Priority
For damage dealers, your goal is maximizing damage output while maintaining enough Keyflare generation to support your rotation.
Priority Order:
- Crit Rate
- Crit Damage
- Keyflare Regen
- Damage Amplification
- Death Resistance
- Other Stats
Crit Rate becomes especially important in Astral Reign. While Faded Legacy relics provide additional Crit Rate, securing a strong baseline from Covenants remains valuable.
Once your Crit Rate becomes reliable, Crit Damage provides the largest damage increase.
Support Stat Priority
Support units value resource generation and team utility significantly more than raw damage.
Priority Order:
- Keyflare Regen
- Damage Amplification
- Death Resistance
- Sigil Yield
- Aliemus Regen
- Realm Mastery
Keyflare is especially important because it directly impacts how quickly Awakeners can be Roused during battle.
How to Upgrade Covenants Efficiently
Many players waste resources chasing perfect Covenant pieces too early.
Instead, focus on reaching functional builds first.
Step 1
Acquire the correct six-piece set.
Step 2
Obtain the desired main stats.
Step 3
Upgrade every piece to +12.
Step 4
Accept decent sub stats initially.
Step 5
Gradually improve pieces through rerolling.
A good goal is reaching roughly 80% optimization before moving on to another Covenant set.
Perfect Covenant pieces can take months to create, while an 80% optimized set will already perform extremely well in nearly all content.
Universal Starting Sets
When starting your Covenant journey, prioritize versatile sets that can be used across multiple teams.
Life Drain (Team Unique)
Life Drain is arguably the most important early Covenant set.
Its ability to generate Keyflare makes it valuable in nearly every Arc 2 team composition.
Since both Rousing and Possession mechanics rely heavily on Keyflare, this set remains relevant even in late-game content.
Recommended Main Stats
- I: Keyflare Regen
- II: Realm Mastery or Sigil Yield
- III: Damage Amplification or Death Resistance
- IV: Keyflare Regen
- V: Keyflare Regen
- VI: Any
Recommended Sub Stats
Priority:
- Keyflare Regen
- Damage Amplification
- Death Resistance
- Realm Mastery
- Aliemus Regen
- Sigil Yield
The primary goal is maximizing Keyflare generation.
Burial Ground’s Sighs
Burial Ground’s Sighs is another highly versatile set.
Its Death Resistance bonuses provide valuable survivability, especially within Astral Reign where HP reductions are common.
Many players eventually build multiple copies of this set.
Recommended Main Stats
- I: Keyflare Regen
- II: Realm Mastery or Sigil Yield
- III: Death Resistance
- IV: Keyflare Regen
- V: Death Resistance
- VI: Death Resistance
Recommended Sub Stats

- Death Resistance
- Keyflare Regen
- Damage Amplification
- Realm Mastery
- Aliemus Regen
- Sigil Yield
Re-Evolution (Team Unique)
Re-Evolution is more specialized than the previous two sets.
While useful, it generally ranks lower in priority due to its higher acquisition cost and narrower application.
It shines on units capable of Exalting multiple times during a single battle.
Recommended Main Stats
- I: Aliemus Regen
- II: Realm Mastery or Sigil Yield
- III: Damage Amplification or Death Resistance
- IV: Aliemus Regen
- V: Aliemus Regen
- VI: Any
Recommended Sub Stats
Priority:
- Aliemus Regen
- Keyflare Regen

Best Covenant Sets for DPS Characters
April Tribute
April Tribute is one of the strongest damage-focused Covenant sets available.
Its effect is particularly effective for burst-oriented characters capable of dealing massive amounts of damage while enemies remain at high health.

Crimson Pulse
Crimson Pulse offers excellent consistency and remains useful across a wide variety of teams.
It is generally easier to utilize than April Tribute and works particularly well when enemies cannot remain at high HP long enough for burst strategies.
Recommended Main Stats

Dream of Medicine (Team Unique)
Dream of Medicine becomes available much later but remains one of the most unique Covenant sets in the game.
Granting two additional skill cards creates opportunities that no other Covenant can replicate.
For many advanced team compositions, simply having access to extra cards can be worth more than raw damage.
Recommended Main Stats
- I: Crit Rate or Crit Damage
- II: Crit Rate or Crit Damage
- III: Crit Rate or Crit Damage
- IV: Keyflare Regen
- V: Keyflare Regen
- VI: Damage Amplification or Death Resistance
Recommended Sub Stats

Additional Covenant Notes
Most remaining Covenant sets can follow the standard DPS or Support stat recommendations outlined above.
There are, however, a few notable exceptions:
Steppenwolf
Steppenwolf users generally benefit from prioritizing Damage Amplification more heavily than other DPS units.
Scarlet Embrace
Scarlet Embrace builds often place additional value on Crit Rate consistency.
Character-Specific Builds
Certain Awakeners have talents that scale directly from specific stats.
Because of this, some characters may prefer unique main stat distributions or Covenant sets that differ from standard recommendations.
As your account progresses and resources become more available, it becomes worthwhile to create specialized Covenant builds tailored to individual Awakeners rather than relying exclusively on universal sets.
For most players, the smartest Covenant progression path is simple: build universal support sets first, then move into dedicated DPS sets once your core teams are established.
Life Drain should usually be your first major Covenant project, followed by Burial Ground’s Sighs. After that, begin investing in offensive options such as April Tribute or Crimson Pulse for your primary damage dealers.
Most importantly, avoid chasing perfect Covenant rolls too early. A fully upgraded set with good main stats will provide significantly more value than a partially completed “perfect” build. Focus on building complete, functional sets first, then optimize them gradually as your resources grow.
