The latest Jujutsu Zero update introduces Star Rage V2, giving players a stronger version of the Curse Technique along with an Awaken Tree progression system. If you were expecting to unlock every move immediately after pulling the technique, you’ll quickly realize that’s not how this one works.
Instead, Star Rage V2 requires you to complete several quests before its full power becomes available. Here’s a complete walkthrough explaining how to unlock Star Rage V2, access the Awaken Tree, and obtain every ability.
How to Get Star Rage V2
The first step is actually obtaining the Star Rage Curse Technique.
Like many techniques in Jujutsu Zero, Star Rage V2 is acquired through the Banner system. Keep summoning until you successfully obtain the technique.
Once you equip it, don’t be surprised if your moveset looks incomplete.
Initially, you’ll only have access to one basic move, while every other ability remains locked behind progression.
Why Most Skills Are Locked
Unlike standard Curse Techniques, Star Rage V2 uses an Awaken Tree progression system.
This means pulling the technique is only the beginning. To unlock the remaining skills, you’ll need to finish a chain of quests before the Awaken Tree becomes available.
Only after completing these requirements can you begin spending points to unlock new attacks and upgrades.
Start the Recruiter NPC Questline
Your progression begins by speaking with the Recruiter NPC.
This NPC starts the Circle of Five questline, which serves as the introduction to Star Rage V2 progression.
After accepting the quest, you’ll be directed toward several different NPCs that each provide their own objectives.
Don’t skip any of these quests, as they’re required for unlocking the next stage.
Complete the Circle of Five Quests
The next objective is straightforward.
Work through every mission given by the Circle of Five NPCs until you’ve completed the full questline.
These quests are mandatory and act as the gateway to later content, so make sure you’ve finished every objective before moving on.
Use Infinity Aura for Easier Missions
Some of the combat missions become much easier if you’re using Infinity Aura.
If you already have access to it, it’s a great option for clearing objectives faster and reducing the difficulty of certain encounters.
While it’s not strictly required, it can significantly speed up the questing process.
Finish the Rescue Amani Quest
After clearing the Circle of Five quests, your next major objective is the Rescue Amani mission.
Completing this quest appears to be the final requirement before the Awaken Tree unlocks.
If the Awaken Tree isn’t showing up yet, double-check that you’ve fully completed every previous quest in the chain.
Unlock the Awaken Tree
Once the Rescue Amani quest is finished, you’ll gain access to the Awaken Tree.
This is where Star Rage V2 truly begins.
Instead of automatically receiving every move, you’ll gradually unlock abilities by progressing through the tree.
Each unlock expands your moveset, allowing you to access the technique’s strongest attacks.
How the Star Rage V2 Awaken Tree Works
If you’ve previously used Awaken Blood Manipulation, the system will feel very familiar.
The overall progression follows nearly the same structure, with one notable difference.
Star Rage V2 only features one Domain, while Awaken Blood Manipulation includes three separate Domains.
Aside from that, the upgrade process is almost identical, making it easy for experienced players to understand.
Star Rage V2 Skill Showcase
After unlocking the Awaken Tree, you can begin purchasing each new ability and testing them in combat.
As you progress through the tree, you’ll gradually unlock:
- Additional combat skills
- Stronger offensive abilities
- Enhanced versions of your technique
- The exclusive Star Rage V2 Domain
Rather than receiving everything at once, the game rewards players as they continue investing in the Awaken Tree.
