The latest Lineage Piece update has finally added Yhwach (Quincy King), one of the most anticipated abilities in the game. Alongside the new fighting style, the update also introduces a higher level cap, a brand-new questline in Hueco Mundo, an improved NPC tracking system, and a unique raid where you’ll fight several powerful Quincy bosses before facing Yhwach himself.
If you’re wondering how to unlock Yhwach, complete every mastery quest, and whether the grind is actually worth your time, this guide covers everything you need to know.
Lineage Piece Yhwach Guide – How to Get Quincy King, Quests
This update includes several major additions:
- New maximum level of 6000
- New quests in Hueco Mundo
- Quincy enemies
- New Quincy raid
- Yhwach (Quincy King)
- Improved seller NPC interface
- Easier item tracking
- New mastery quests
- Transformation mode
Reach the New Level Cap
Before grinding for Yhwach, make sure you’re prepared for the new content.
The level cap has increased to 6000, and all of the newest quests take place in Hueco Mundo, where you’ll fight the newly added Quincy enemies.
Find the Yhwach Seller NPC
The Yhwach seller is located in Hueco Mundo.
One of the best quality-of-life features added in this update is the improved NPC interface. When interacting with the seller, you’ll now see:
- Every required material
- Which boss drops each item
- The location of the mastery NPC
This removes most of the guessing previously required when farming new content.
Complete the Quincy Questline
Before you can enter the new raid, you’ll need to finish the questline given by the GME NPC.
Complete these objectives:
Quest 1
Defeat:
- 500 Quincy mobs
Quest 2
Defeat:
- 25 Aizen bosses
Quest 3
Find:
- 4 Crystals
Finding the crystals is fairly easy if you enable Observation Haki, since they become much easier to locate around the island.
After completing all three quests, you’re ready to begin farming for Yhwach.
Get the Quincy Raid Key
Farm the Quincy enemies until one drops the required Raid Key.
This key is necessary to access the new Quincy raid, which is where nearly all of Yhwach’s required materials come from.
Quincy Raid Guide
The raid is surprisingly straightforward once you understand its mechanics.
Step 1
Interact with all five crosses scattered around the raid area.
Step 2
Each activated cross summons a wave of Quincy enemies.
Defeat every wave before moving on.
Step 3
Each completed cross spawns one Quincy boss.
You’ll fight:
- Jugram
- Askin
- Gerard
- Lille Barro
- Bambietta
Each boss has its own loot pool, so expect multiple raid runs if you’re farming every required material.
Step 4
Once every boss has been defeated, Yhwach appears as the final boss.
After defeating him, you’ll receive the materials needed to unlock Quincy King.
How to Become Quincy
If you don’t already have the Quincy race, the update makes it simple.
Use a Race Reroll until you obtain Quincy before attempting the Yhwach grind.
Yhwach Mastery Quests
Unlocking Yhwach is only the beginning.
To fully master the ability and unlock every move, you’ll need to complete the following challenges.
Deal 5 Billion Damage
Use Yhwach to deal:
- 5,000,000,000 total damage
This is by far the longest mastery objective and will likely take the most time.
Equip the Quincy King Title
Simply equip the Quincy King title before continuing.
Dodge 200 Attacks
Use Observation Haki to successfully dodge attacks:
- 200 times
Defeat Ichigo Bankai
Kill the Ichigo Bankai Boss:
- 50 times
Defeat Aizen
Kill the Aizen Boss:
- 25 times
Complete Hard or Extreme Content
Finish Hard or Extreme difficulty:
- 20 times
After completing every mastery requirement, you’ll unlock the final R and F abilities.
Yhwach Moveset
The update gives Yhwach a flashy moveset packed with large-area attacks and strong burst damage.
The regular abilities already deal impressive damage, but the biggest reward is the transformation.
Transformation
The F Move activates Yhwach’s transformation.
The transformation includes a unique cutscene before granting:
- 30% damage increase
The moves themselves don’t change, but every attack hits significantly harder thanks to the damage boost.
If you’re looking for one of the strongest late-game abilities in Lineage Piece, Yhwach is definitely worth the effort.
The raid is enjoyable, the new NPC improvements make farming much less frustrating, and the 30% transformation buff gives the ability excellent damage for both PvE grinding and boss fights.
While the mastery requirements are time-consuming—especially the 5 billion damage challenge—the final result is a powerful endgame ability that feels rewarding once fully unlocked. If you’re already progressing through Hueco Mundo and aiming for the new level cap, Yhwach should be one of your top priorities.
