With Anime Vanguards Update 14, several new Vanguard Familiars and a new Memoria have been added through the Odyssey game mode. Since these rewards are tied to different Odyssey stages and rank milestones, it’s easy to get confused about where each one comes from.
If you’re trying to complete your collection, here’s exactly how to unlock Toji’s Memoria, Toji’s Vanguard Familiar, Lucy’s Vanguard Familiar, and David’s Vanguard Familiar.
How to Get Toji, David, and Lucy Vanguard Familiars & Memoria in Anime Vanguards
The latest update introduces the following collectible rewards:
- Toji Memoria
- Toji Vanguard Familiar
- Lucy Vanguard Familiar
- David Vanguard Familiar
Unlike Raid rewards or Rift drops, all of these are earned by progressing through Odyssey.
How to Get Toji’s Memoria
To unlock Toji’s Memoria, you’ll need to play Toji’s Odyssey.
The reward is earned by reaching:
Rank 5
Once you reach Rank 5 in Toji’s Odyssey progression, you’ll automatically receive his Memoria.
How to Get Toji’s Vanguard Familiar
If you’re aiming for Toji’s Familiar, you’ll need to keep progressing beyond Rank 5.
The Toji Vanguard Familiar unlocks at:
Rank 10
Because of this, you’ll need to complete additional Odyssey runs even after earning the Memoria.
How to Get Lucy’s Vanguard Familiar
Lucy has her own Odyssey stage, which rewards Vanguard Familiars instead of a Memoria.
To unlock Lucy Vanguard Familiar, play Lucy’s Odyssey and reach:

Once you hit the required rank, the familiar becomes yours.
How to Get David’s Vanguard Familiar
David’s Familiar is also earned through Lucy’s Odyssey.
Unlike Lucy’s reward, however, you’ll need to progress even further.
The unlock requirement is:
Rank 10
So while farming Lucy’s Odyssey, you’ll naturally earn Lucy’s Familiar first before eventually unlocking David’s.
Does David Have a Memoria?
No.
Based on the current update, David does not have a Memoria.
His available collectible is only the Vanguard Familiar.
The same applies to Lucy, who also only has a Vanguard Familiar available through Odyssey.
