The new Chapel update in Fisch adds five challenging questlines, each rewarding you with a unique rod skin. At first glance, these quests can feel overwhelming because they ask you to catch rare fish with specific mutations, use certain rods, and even trigger special events.
The good news is that once you know the requirements, you can plan everything efficiently instead of running back and forth across the map. I made this guide to break each Chapel quest into simple steps, along with the recommended gear that gives you the best chance of finishing everything as quickly as possible.
Let’s go through every Chapel quest one by one.
How to Complete All 5 Chapel Quests in Fisch
Every Chapel quest begins by entering the Chapel while carrying a specific relic. If you don’t have the correct relic equipped, the NPC won’t start that quest.
Each NPC also has multiple objectives, so after finishing the first set of tasks, remember to return and talk to them again before continuing.
Quest 1 – Fabulous Quest
How to Start
Enter the Chapel while carrying a Fabulous Relic.
Part 1 Objectives
Catch the following fish with the Sparkling Fabulous mutation:
- Sparkling Fabulous Magma Leviathan
- Sparkling Fabulous Frozen Leviathan
- Sparkling Fabulous Crowned Angelfish
Once you’ve caught all three, return to the NPC.
Part 2 Objective
The NPC will then ask you to catch:
- SS Fabulous Crystallized Sea Dragon
Fastest Setup
To maximise your chances, use:
- Fabulous Rod
- Blessed or Gilded enhancement
- Relic Construct with the Cosmic Relic Buff
- Rainbow Totem
- Sparkling Totem
This combination gives you the highest odds of getting the required mutations without wasting too many attempts.
Quest 2 – Poseidon Quest
How to Start
Enter the Chapel with a King’s Blessing Relic.
Part 1 Objectives
Equip the Poseidon Rod and activate a Poseidon’s Wrath Totem inside the original Poseidon Room.
Make sure you’re in the original room rather than the newer version, otherwise it won’t count.
Return to the NPC afterwards.
Part 2 Objective
Catch:
- King’s Blessing Tide Crusher Archon
Fastest Setup
Before fishing:
- Disturb the fish using Poseidon’s Lens.
- Activate an Eclipse Totem.
Recommended equipment:
- Poseidon Rod
- Piercing enchantment (or your strongest fishing build)
- Best Luck bait available
- Gary the Gator
- Aurora Totem or Rainbow Totem
Since this fish is quite rare, stacking multiple Luck bonuses makes a noticeable difference.
Quest 3 – Ruinous Quest
How to Start
Enter the Chapel with a Mastered Relic.
Part 1 Objective
You’ll be asked to catch any one Dragon from the quest list.
A lot of players think every dragon is required, but that’s not true. Catching just one of the listed dragons completes this section.
After catching one, return to the NPC.
Part 2 Objective
Now you’ll need to catch three dragons, and each one must be a Perfect Catch.
This is the part that usually takes the longest, so don’t rush your catches.
Recommended Setup
Use:
- Ruinous Oath Rod
- Blessed or Gilded enhancement
- High Resilience bait
- Singularity Bait if you have it
- Relic Construct with Cosmic Buff
- Rainbow Totem
- Sparkling Totem
Higher resilience makes landing perfect catches much easier.
Quest 4 – Nyx Quest
How to Start
Enter the Chapel carrying a Husk Relic.
Part 1 Objectives
Catch the following Husk variants:
- Husk Plesiosaur
- Husk Reef Titan
- Husk Gold Wraith
After finishing these catches, return to the NPC.
Part 2 Objectives
You’ll then need to:
- Perfect Catch a Sparkling Husk Omnithol or Awakened Omnithol
- Catch a Requiem Omnithol or Awakened Omnithol
These objectives are considerably more difficult because they require both rare fish and specific mutations.
Recommended Setup
For the fastest completion, use:
- Requiem Rod
- Recommended bait for each fish
- Disturbance method required for the target fish
- Eclipse Totem
- Relic Construct with Cosmic Buff
- Aurora Totem or Rainbow Totem
Patience helps here since Omnithol variants can take multiple attempts.
Quest 5 – Master Line Quest
This is the final Chapel quest and unlocks what many players consider the best-looking reward.
How to Start
Enter the Chapel carrying an Ascended Relic.
Part 1 Objective
Complete the SS Bestiary for the required named islands.
The NPC tells you exactly which islands count, so you don’t need to guess.
Once you’ve completed them, return to the NPC.
Part 2 Objectives
Catch all of the following with the SS mutation while using the Destiny Rod:
- SS Trouble Bass
- SS Manatee
- SS Molten Banshee
- SS Rubber Ducky
- SS Baby Pond Emperor
- SS Bolt Fish
- SS Hand Fish
- SS Manta Ray
Best Farming Setup
For the quickest results, use:
- Destiny Rod
- Glimmering Crown (provides an extra chance for SS mutations)
- Relic Construct with Cosmic Relic Buff
- Rainbow Totem
- Sparkling Totem
This setup significantly improves your odds of obtaining the required SS catches.
Best Order to Complete the Chapel Quests
If you’re planning to unlock every reward in one session, this order saves the most time:
- Complete the Fabulous Quest.
- Move on to the Poseidon Quest.
- Finish the Ruinous Quest.
- Complete the Nyx Quest.
- Finish the Master Line Quest last.
Following this progression helps avoid unnecessary travelling and lets you focus on one rod setup at a time.
All Chapel Quest Rewards
Completing the Chapel questlines unlocks five exclusive rod skins:
- Master Line Skin
- Requiem Skin
- Ruinous Skin
- Fabulous Skin
- Poseidon Skin
These skins are purely cosmetic, but they’re among the newest and most sought-after rewards introduced in the Chapel update.
The Chapel quests rely heavily on mutations and rare catches, so preparation makes a huge difference. Before starting, gather all the relics you’ll need, stock up on your preferred bait, and make sure you have access to useful buffs like the Cosmic Relic Buff, Rainbow Totem, Aurora Totem, and Sparkling Totem.
Many of the objectives are RNG-based, so don’t be discouraged if a required mutation doesn’t appear immediately. Using the recommended rod for each quest, stacking as much Luck as possible, and completing one questline at a time is still the fastest way to unlock every Chapel skin in Fisch.
