Souls are one of the biggest progression systems in Souls Crossover X. Every soul increases your stats, but many of them also come with unique passive abilities that can completely change how your character performs in combat. Some souls are designed for survivability, some are perfect for mobility, while others focus entirely on increasing your damage output.
When I first started playing, I made the mistake of only looking at the HP numbers. After spending more time with different souls, it became obvious that the passive abilities are just as important as the stats. Choosing the right soul for your playstyle can make boss fights and grinding much easier.
This guide covers every soul currently available, including their stats, crafting requirements, passives, and which players should consider using them.
Human Soul
Every new player begins with the Human Soul, which is the default white soul.
Stats
- 10 HP
- +1 Walk Speed
- +1 Jump Power
- 10 Mana
Since it’s your starting soul, it has extremely low stats and doesn’t provide any passive ability. It is only meant to get you started during the early tutorial and first few enemies.
You’ll want to replace the Human Soul as soon as you unlock your first craftable soul because every upgrade afterwards offers a massive increase in power.
Patient Soul
Patient Soul is usually the first real upgrade most players craft.
Crafting Requirements
- 50 Gold
- 2 Patient Soul Shards
- Crafted at the Sands Crafting NPC
Stats
- 100 HP
- +2 Walk Speed
- +2 Jump Power
- 100 Mana
Passive
Calm Mind
After standing still for 5 seconds, you gain 20% extra damage for 3 seconds.
This passive rewards a slower, more patient approach to combat. If you normally prepare before engaging a boss or wait for enemies to come to you, you can activate the damage boost before starting the fight.
During fast-paced farming, however, the passive doesn’t trigger very often because you’re constantly moving between enemies.
Integrity Soul
Integrity Soul is one of the best early-game upgrades thanks to its mobility improvements.
Crafting Requirements
- 1,000 Gold
- 2 Integrity Soul Shards
Stats
- 250 HP
- +3 Walk Speed
- +3 Jump Power
- 150 Mana
Passive
Unbound
- Restores 25 Mana after every kill.
- Grants a second jump.
This is an excellent soul for long grinding sessions. The constant mana recovery allows you to keep using abilities without stopping, while the double jump makes exploration and movement much smoother.
If you spend most of your time farming mobs instead of fighting difficult bosses, Integrity Soul feels surprisingly comfortable to use.
Kindness Soul
Kindness Soul focuses on keeping you alive instead of increasing your damage.

- 2,500 Gold
- 2 Kindness Soul Shards
Stats
- 500 HP
- +4 Walk Speed
- +4 Jump Power
- 250 Mana
Passive
Guardian’s Grace
- Restores 25 HP after every kill.
- Grants a shield that blocks one incoming hit.
- Shield cooldown: 15 seconds.
The combination of healing and a protective shield makes Kindness Soul a fantastic defensive option.
If you’re still learning boss mechanics or taking frequent damage, this soul gives you much more room for mistakes. The shield often prevents a dangerous hit, while the healing helps maintain your health during farming.
Players who value consistency over maximum damage will appreciate this soul.
Perseverance Soul
Perseverance Soul is a straightforward upgrade that focuses entirely on stronger base stats.

- 2 Perseverance Soul Shards

- 500 Mana
Passive
Currently, Perseverance Soul does not have a listed passive ability.
Although it lacks any special effects, the large increase in HP, movement speed, jump power, and mana still makes it a noticeable improvement over previous souls.
If you simply want stronger stats without worrying about activating conditions or managing passives, Perseverance is a reliable upgrade.
Justice Soul
Justice Soul is a significant jump in overall power and also plays an important role in one of the equipment sets.

- 2 Justice Soul Shards
Stats
- 2,000 HP
- +6 Walk Speed
- +6 Jump Power
- 2,000 Mana
Justice Soul is also one of the three pieces required for the Justice Set, alongside:
- Empty Gun
- Cowboy Hat
Even without a listed passive, the massive increase in HP and mana makes it a very strong mid-game soul. If you’re collecting complete equipment sets, Justice Soul becomes even more valuable.
Bravery Soul
Bravery Soul is one of the strongest offensive choices currently available.

- 25,000 Gold
- 2 Bravery Soul Shards
Stats
- 3,500 HP
- +7 Walk Speed
- +7 Jump Power
- 3,500 Mana
Passive
After hitting the same enemy 8 times, you gain 24% increased damage.
This passive shines during long boss fights where you’re continuously attacking one target. Once the damage bonus activates, every following attack becomes noticeably stronger.
Against weaker enemies that die quickly, you may not fully benefit from the passive, but during tougher encounters it becomes one of the highest damage boosts available.
If your goal is maximizing DPS, Bravery Soul deserves serious consideration.
Determination Soul
Determination Soul offers incredible raw stats without relying on passive abilities.

- 2 Determination Soul Shards
Stats
- 5,000 HP
- +7 Walk Speed
- +7 Jump Power
- 5,000 Mana
Passive
No passive ability is currently listed.
Even without a passive, Determination Soul remains extremely powerful simply because of its enormous base stats.
Some players actually prefer this style because there are no activation requirements or special conditions to worry about. You simply equip it and immediately benefit from the high HP and mana.
Temp Soul
Unlike most souls, Temp Soul isn’t crafted through the normal progression path.

- Level 30
- Purchase from the Temp Shop
- Costs 100 Gems
Stats
- 1,000 HP
- +7 Walk Speed
- +15 Jump Power
- 1,000 Mana
The most noticeable feature here is the incredible 15 Jump Power, which is the highest among the currently available souls.
Temp Soul is ideal if you enjoy moving around the map quickly or reaching difficult areas with ease.
It also forms part of the Temp Set, which includes:
- Temp Armor
- Debt and Dreams Title
- Temp Soul
Players interested in collecting complete sets will eventually want this soul as well.
Seven Soul
Seven Soul is widely considered the ultimate end-game soul because it combines everything that came before it.

Crafting Seven Soul is a long-term goal rather than something you’ll finish quickly.
Every soul shard comes from a specific boss, meaning you’ll need to defeat numerous bosses repeatedly before collecting everything required. The gold, gems, and shard requirements make this one of the most expensive crafts in the game.
However, the reward is absolutely worth the effort.
Seven Soul provides the highest balanced stats in the game, making it the strongest overall choice for nearly every build once you finally obtain it.
Soul Shards
Soul Shards are the main crafting material used for creating stronger souls.
Each type of Soul Shard is tied to a specific boss, so you’ll need to farm different encounters depending on which soul you’re trying to craft.
For example, if you’re working toward Seven Soul, you’ll eventually have to collect shards from every required soul type before you can complete the final recipe.
This means boss farming becomes a major part of your progression, especially during the late game.
Best Souls Tier List
Choosing the best soul depends on what you want your build to accomplish.
Seven Soul
Seven Soul is the strongest overall option thanks to its exceptional stats and complete package. If you can afford the expensive crafting requirements, this is the soul most players should aim for in the end game.
Bravery Soul
Bravery Soul is perfect for players who want maximum damage. Its passive rewards sustained attacks during longer fights, making it one of the best offensive choices against bosses.
Kindness Soul
Kindness Soul is an excellent defensive option. The healing after kills and protective shield make it much more forgiving, especially if you’re still learning boss mechanics.
Integrity Soul
Integrity Soul is ideal for farming. The extra jump, mana recovery after every kill, and improved mobility make long grinding sessions much more comfortable.
Temp Soul
Temp Soul stands out for movement. With its incredibly high jump power, it’s the best choice if mobility and exploration are your priorities.
Every soul in Souls Crossover X represents a clear step forward in progression, but not every player will benefit from the same one. Some builds perform better with defensive passives, while others get far more value from extra damage or improved mobility.
If you’re just progressing through the game, upgrade whenever you have the required shards and gold instead of saving everything early. Each new soul provides a noticeable increase in power that makes future farming much easier.
Eventually, your long-term objective should be Seven Soul. It demands a huge investment of gold, gems, and boss farming, but once you finally craft it, you’ll have the strongest all-around soul currently available in the game.
