Big Walk 100% Achievement Guide – How to Unlock All 12 Achievements

Trying to 100% Big Walk? The good news is that the achievement list isn’t especially huge. There are 12 achievements in total, and most of them are tied to natural progression, unlocking the island’s different transportation systems, collecting Blorbs, or messing around with some of the game’s stranger co-op mechanics.

That said, a few achievements are very easy to walk straight past. Big View, Big Sit, Big Tunnel, and Big Ride are particularly worth paying attention to because simply unlocking the related area or transport isn’t always enough—you actually need to interact with it in the right way.

This Big Walk 100% Achievement Guide – How to Unlock All 12 Achievements focuses specifically on getting every Big Walk achievement rather than giving solutions to every individual puzzle. I’ll also explain the overall Blorb/key progression along the way, because once you understand that system, several achievements basically take care of themselves.

Big Walk 100% Achievement Guide – How to Unlock All 12 Achievements

Here are the 12 achievements you’ll need for 100% completion:

Achievement What You Need to Do
Big Walk Reach and step onto the Red Drawbridge
Big View Visit the Map Room
Big Sit Ride the chairlift
Big Tunnel Enter the tunnel system
Big Ride Step onto a moving monorail
Big Wall Pass beyond the Wall
Big Goodbye Complete the main game
Big Game Complete the additional Blorb objective and ending
Big Pack Have another player put a backpack on you
Big Help Have another player put a belt on you
Big Climb Reach the highest point and climb to the top
Big Makeover Get painted with a shiny color at the salon

Before chasing these individually, though, there are a few things that will make the whole run much easier.

Big Walk Beginner Tips Before Hunting Achievements

Big Walk is built around cooperation, and communication genuinely makes a difference.

If you’re solving puzzles with friends, establish some simple gestures for common symbols or instructions. You’ll encounter situations where communicating normally isn’t necessarily the easiest option, and having your own little gesture vocabulary can save a surprising amount of confusion.

There’s also a useful item worth grabbing early.

Head toward the base of the Weather Balloon, north of the Green and Blue Towers. You can find an item there that increases the number of Blorbs you can carry by one, and it attaches directly to your backpack.

Considering how much Blorb carrying you’ll be doing for 100% completion, that extra capacity is well worth picking up.

Use Grab Chaining to Reach Difficult Places

Big Walk gives you a bit more freedom than you might initially realize.

If something looks slightly too high to reach normally, get another player involved. One player can grab the other, and you can repeatedly chain grabs between yourselves to gain additional height.

With a little coordination, this lets you climb over walls and other obstacles that might otherwise look inaccessible.

I wouldn’t immediately assume every tall obstacle requires some complicated hidden route. Sometimes the answer really is just two people awkwardly dragging each other upward.

The Tunnels Are Great for Getting Around

Once you’ve opened the tunnel system, use it.

The island is large enough that repeatedly walking between objectives gets old fairly quickly, particularly when you’re cleaning up achievements and Blorbs.

The tunnels are one of the quickest ways to move between different areas, and there’s also a handy shortcut through the mountain near the Golf Blorb.

The monorail looks like it should become your primary transportation system once unlocked, but in practice its slower movement and limited trains can make it less convenient than simply taking the tunnels.

Now, onto the achievements.

How to Unlock Big Walk

Requirement: Unlock and step onto the Red Drawbridge.

This is one of the main progression achievements and introduces you to the basic Blorb and key system.

Start by finding the four Blorbs in the Starting Area.

Bring those Blorbs to the key-unlocker to obtain your key. Getting the initial key isn’t the end of the process, though.

You then need to take that key through five key-maker slots.

Fortunately, you don’t need to memorize where every station is beforehand. After inserting the key into a slot, look at the top of it. An arrow will point you toward the next location.

Keep following those directions until the key is finished.

Take the completed key to the Red Bridge/Drawbridge and place it into the corresponding slot. The drawbridge will lower.

Walk onto the Drawbridge and Big Walk should unlock.

How to Unlock Big View

Requirement: Unlock and visit the Map Room.

For Big View, collect five Blorbs and bring them to the Red Tower.

This allows you to unlock another key.

Go through the key-making process and then take the finished key toward the large stairs beside the tutorial area.

Use the key there to open the Map Room.

Actually enter the Map Room afterward. That’s what triggers Big View.

This is considered technically missable, so I recommend entering the room immediately rather than assuming that unlocking it is enough.

How to Unlock Big Sit

Requirement: Sit on the chairlift.

Collect another five Blorbs and bring them to the Green Tower.

Unlock the key there and complete its key-making process.

Once you’ve finished the key, take it to the lift station near the Green Tower. Using it here activates the chairlift system.

Don’t immediately leave.

Get onto the chairlift and actually sit on it.

Doing so unlocks Big Sit.

Again, this is one of those achievements where activating the feature and actually using it are two different things.

How to Unlock Big Tunnel

Requirement: Unlock and enter the tunnel system.

Take five Blorbs to the Yellow Tower and use them to unlock its key.

Finish making the key and bring it to the Yellow Door.

Opening this door unlocks the tunnel network along with the other colored doors throughout the main area.

Then simply enter the tunnel system.

Once you go inside, Big Tunnel should unlock.

The tunnels become extremely useful from this point onward, so remember where the entrances are. They’ll save you quite a bit of walking while cleaning up everything else.

How to Unlock Big Ride

Requirement: Step onto a moving monorail.

Bring five Blorbs to the Blue Tower.

Unlock and finish making its key, then head toward the Monorail Station near the Blue Tower.

Use your completed key there to activate the monorail system.

There’s one extra step that matters for the achievement:

You need to board a moving monorail.

Once you’ve successfully stepped aboard, Big Ride should trigger.

You don’t need to spend the rest of your playthrough commuting by monorail afterward. Unlock the achievement, enjoy the ride once, and use whichever travel method you find more convenient.

How to Unlock Big Wall

Requirement: Open the Wall Gate and continue beyond it.

Big Wall comes later in the main progression.

First, you’ll need to complete the five previous key/unlock objectives. Doing so eventually opens access to the Black Obelisk door.

Now you’ll need more Blorbs.

Bring six Blorbs to the Black Obelisk to receive the Black Key.

Take this key toward the bridge/gate at the Wall on the far western side of the island.

Use the Black Key to unlock the Wall Gate and continue through it.

Once you’ve travelled beyond the Wall, Big Wall will unlock.

At this stage, you’re getting fairly close to finishing the main journey.

How to Unlock Big Goodbye

Requirement: Reach the end of the main game.

After passing through the Wall, it’s finally time for the game’s namesake—a very big walk.

Continue onward until you reach the giant Sphere.

Enter the Sphere and work through all of the puzzles inside. Once everything has been completed, you’ll eventually emerge from the other side.

Keep heading toward the end of the game until you reach the final turnstile.

Go through it and then continue through the white door.

When you exit the game at the end of this sequence, Big Goodbye should unlock.

That finishes the primary journey, but you’re not at 100% yet.

There’s still another major Blorb objective waiting for completionists.

How to Unlock Big Game

Requirement: Complete the final Blorb objective and additional ending.

Big Game is one of the more involved achievements and is essentially part of Big Walk’s completionist content.

You’ll need to bring the final 15 Blorbs to the green building near the Tutorial/Map area.

There are eight additional red Blorbs available after you’ve used 30 Blorbs to complete the main key unlocks.

But those aren’t the only ones you’ll need.

There’s also a challenge area behind a purple door at the far eastern chairlift station. Completing the puzzles inside this challenge area rewards you with purple Blorbs.

If you’ve already finished the main game, there’s some good news: these challenge Blorbs can also appear on your map afterward, making cleanup easier.

Complete the required Blorb collection and you’ll receive the White Key.

Now head all the way back to the initial Tutorial area.

You may notice that the small black sphere from earlier has changed. It should now be split into two halves with a key slot inside.

Insert the White Key.

Head down the stairs, follow what the game asks you to do, and continue through the sequence that follows.

Finish this additional ending to get Big Game.

If you’ve mostly been following the main progression up until now, this will probably be one of the last major achievements you complete.

How to Unlock Big Pack

Requirement: Have another player put a backpack on you.

Big Pack is much easier than the progression achievements.

While exploring the island, keep an eye out for blue spiral/circular structures. They look a little like circular parking garages.

Inside these structures, you can find wearable equipment.

The earlier portions of the island tend to contain backpacks.

For Big Pack, simply find one and have another player place the backpack onto your character.

The important part is having your teammate equip it onto you rather than simply finding the item.

Once that’s done, Big Pack should pop.

How to Unlock Big Help

Requirement: Have another player put a belt on you.

Big Help works almost exactly like Big Pack.

You’ll once again be looking inside those blue spiral structures, except this time you need a belt.

Belts tend to appear more frequently in the later portions of the game.

Once you’ve found one, ask another player to place it onto your character.

That will unlock Big Help.

If you’re playing specifically for achievements, I’d get Big Pack and Big Help whenever you naturally come across the required equipment rather than leaving both for the end.

How to Unlock Big Climb

Requirement: Climb to the highest point in the game.

Remember the chairlift you activated while getting Big Sit?

Return to the station where you originally unlocked the chairlift.

From there, ride the chairlift one station west.

This takes you toward the highest station on the island. It’s fairly obvious when you’ve arrived because you’re way above everything else, and there’s a small structure/sphere sitting at the top.

Get off the chairlift at this peak.

Now climb all the way to the very top.

Once you reach the highest point, Big Climb will unlock.

There’s no massive treasure chest or secret reward waiting up there. You’re mostly climbing an enormous mountain because the achievement list told you to.

At least the view is nice.

How to Unlock Big Makeover

Requirement: Get painted with one of the shiny colors at the salon.

You won’t be able to do this until you’ve unlocked the tunnel network for Big Tunnel.

Enter the tunnel system and look for the salon near the Red/Blue connection, close to the Rave.

The route gets visually distinctive as you approach it.

You’ll cross a green bridge and eventually head down a set of unusual red stairs leading into a purple-colored area.

The salon is located here.

Inside, look at the available colors and select one of the three shiny colors along the bottom.

Then have another player paint your character with your chosen shiny color.

Once you’re successfully painted, Big Makeover should unlock.

If you’ve already found the salon but aren’t getting the achievement, double-check that you’re using one of those three bottom shiny options.

Best Order for Getting All Big Walk Achievements

You don’t need to constantly jump around the island chasing achievements individually. Most can be incorporated into normal progression.

A smooth route is roughly:

Big Walk → Big View → Big Sit → Big Tunnel → Big Ride → Big Wall → Big Goodbye → Blorb/challenge cleanup → Big Game

Meanwhile, pick up Big Pack, Big Help, Big Climb, and Big Makeover whenever you’re close to their required locations.

I’d particularly recommend doing Big View, Big Sit, Big Tunnel, and Big Ride as soon as you unlock their respective features. That way you don’t reach the end and suddenly realize you activated the chairlift hours ago but never actually sat on it.

How Many Blorbs Do You Need in Big Walk?

Blorbs are central to Big Walk’s progression, so expect to spend plenty of time carrying them around the island.

Your early and mid-game progression requires groups of Blorbs to unlock keys at the colored towers, while the completionist route eventually asks you to track down the remaining Blorbs for Big Game.

Remember that eight additional red Blorbs remain available after using 30 toward the main key progression, while the optional challenge area provides purple Blorbs.

If you’re going for 100%, don’t treat the credits as the end of your run. Finishing the game also makes the challenge Blorbs visible on the map, which can make tracking down what you’re missing considerably less painful.

The biggest thing I’d recommend is not turning your first playthrough into a checklist.

Big Walk is at its best when you and your friends are figuring things out together, getting lost, inventing ridiculous ways to communicate, and occasionally reaching places in ways that probably weren’t intended.

Most of the achievements naturally overlap with that exploration anyway.

Just keep the potentially missable interactions in mind. Enter the Map Room, sit on the chairlift, enter the tunnels, and board the moving monorail when you unlock each one.

Also grab the extra Blorb-carrying item near the Weather Balloon as early as you reasonably can. It might sound like a tiny upgrade, but when you’re carrying Blorbs back and forth for several different unlocks, being able to haul one extra becomes very noticeable.

For the cleanup phase, use the tunnel network whenever possible and take advantage of the post-game map information for the challenge Blorbs.

Once Big Game is finished and you’ve cleaned up Big Pack, Big Help, Big Climb, and Big Makeover, you should have all 12 Big Walk achievements and your 100% completion.
