Chop Chop Inc. Achievement Guide 100% – Secret Base

If you’re going for 100% completion in Chop Chop Inc., most of the achievements are actually pretty straightforward. The game does a good job of pointing you toward the upgrades and areas you need, but there are a few secrets and collectibles that are very easy to miss if you’re simply following the main progression.

I went through the achievement list and organized the important stuff below, including the Secret Developer Base and the locations of the stone figures. For the money-related achievements and faction missions, you generally don’t need anything fancy — just keep progressing through the game and building up your city.

One thing I’d recommend right away: upgrade tree regrowth in the Lab as soon as you get access to it. It might not feel important at first, but you’ll be doing a lot more chopping as you progress, so faster tree regeneration saves a surprising amount of time.

Also, don’t worry too much about missing progression abilities. Things like walking on water are tied to upgrades you’ll naturally encounter while playing.

Chop Chop Inc. Achievement Guide 100% – Secret Base & Stone

Here’s the full achievement list and what you need to do for each one.

Your New Love

Requirement: Get the wooden axe.

This one is basically impossible to miss. You’ll obtain the wooden axe naturally as you progress through the beginning of the game.

No special preparation is needed here.

Tutorial

Requirement: Complete the tutorial and show Furnox your respect.

Simply finish the tutorial section and follow the instructions involving Furnox.

This should unlock automatically as you progress.

Your New Best Friend

Requirement: Find Bober the Builder.

Bober is hiding in a rather amusing location.

Go to the river where you build the initial bridge, then walk through the waterfall. You’ll find Bober’s house on the other side.

You don’t need a complicated route here. Once you know you can actually walk through the waterfall, finding him is easy.

Baby Steps

Requirement: Have 1,000 money in Chester’s inventory.

This is another straightforward progression achievement.

Keep collecting money and storing it with Chester until you reach 1,000.

Home Sweet Home

Requirement: Build the house.

Continue following the early-game progression until you’re able to construct your house.

Once the house is built, the achievement should unlock.

Steam is Progress

Requirement: Build the Working Hall.

This one requires a little more progression before the Working Hall becomes available.

First, build your house and complete the missions involving the talking fish. You’ll eventually bring the fish into your home, where you can exchange liquor for recipes.

Those recipes eventually unlock the ability to build the Working Hall.

So if you’re wondering why the Working Hall isn’t available yet, don’t worry — you haven’t necessarily missed anything. Keep working through the talking fish’s missions.

You Found Our Secret Base

Requirement: Find the secret developer room.

This is one of the achievements you can easily miss because the entrance isn’t sitting somewhere obvious in the main progression.

You’ll need the stone axe first.

The full route is explained below.

Getting There

Requirement: Have 10,000 money in Chester’s inventory.

Keep building up your money and make sure it’s stored in Chester’s inventory.

Once you hit 10,000, the achievement should unlock.

King of the Hill

Requirement: Reach the top of the mountain.

Make your way up the mountain until you reach its highest point.

You’ll naturally gain access to the mountain as you progress through the game, so this is mainly a matter of continuing your exploration.

Kill the Chicken King

Requirement: Hail thee, King Nugget!

You’ll need to defeat King Nugget, the Chicken King.

This one is a little more entertaining than simply accumulating money, so make sure you don’t ignore the chicken-related encounter when you reach it.

Millionaire… Almost… Kinda

Requirement: Have 100,000 money in Chester’s inventory.

This is the big money milestone.

You’ll need 100,000 money stored in Chester’s inventory.

There’s no special trick required for the achievement itself. Keep progressing, completing missions, collecting resources and building your city, and you’ll gradually get there.

Bye Bye Furnox

Requirement: Stomp Furnox into the ground.

This achievement is tied to dealing with Furnox.

You’ll encounter Furnox during your progression, so keep playing through the relevant storyline until you’re able to stomp him into the ground.

Structure Is Freedom. Files Are Forever.

Requirement: Complete all City Admin missions.

You’ll need to finish every mission given by the City Admin.

The City Admin content becomes part of the game’s broader city-building progression, so don’t stop after completing just the missions required to advance the story.

In the Beginning, There Was the Protein

Requirement: Complete all Church of Eternal Gains missions.

Finish every mission belonging to the Church of Eternal Gains faction.

You’ll encounter different factions as you continue building things through the City Planner, so if this faction isn’t available to you yet, keep progressing.

If It Works, It Works.

Requirement: Complete all Union of Questionable Safety Practices missions.

This achievement requires completing all missions for the Union of Questionable Safety Practices.

Again, this is primarily a progression achievement. Continue unlocking factions and completing their mission chains.

There Is Always an Optimal Way

Requirement: Complete all Spreadsheet Militia missions.

Finish the complete Spreadsheet Militia mission chain.

Make sure you don’t stop once you’ve completed the missions needed for the main progression. The achievement requires the entire faction’s mission set.

Why Not?

Requirement: Complete all League of Little Rascals missions.

You’ll need to complete all missions associated with the League of Little Rascals.

If the faction hasn’t appeared yet, keep building things through the City Planner and continue progressing through the game.

Aluminum Foil Is Essential

Requirement: Complete all Tactical Tinfoil Society missions.

Finish every mission from the Tactical Tinfoil Society.

The faction system is tied to your City Planner progression, so these missions will become available naturally as you expand your city.

My Kind of Zen

Requirement: Destroy all stone figures.

This is one of the more collectible-focused achievements.

There are stone cairns/stone figures scattered around the map, and you’ll need to hit every one of them.

I’ve listed the locations I found below so you don’t have to run around the entire map randomly searching for them.

What Happens Here Was Tastefully Planned

Requirement: Complete all Discreet Book Club missions.

Finish the entire Discreet Book Club mission chain.

As with the other factions, continue progressing through the City Planner to unlock their missions.

Taste Is Inherited

Requirement: Complete all Champagne Committee missions.

Complete every mission given by the Champagne Committee.

Once you’ve finished the entire mission chain, the achievement should unlock.

Chop Chop Inc. Secret Base Location

The secret developer room is probably one of the easiest achievements to miss if you’re not specifically looking for it.

You can’t reach the entrance immediately because you first need the stone axe.

Here’s the progression you’ll need.

Step 1: Build the Initial Bridge

Start by completing the early tutorial progression and build the bridge across the water.

This is one of the first major construction tasks you’ll encounter.

Step 2: Repair the Windmill

Next, repair the windmill.

Doing this gives you the clogs, which allow you to walk across water.

This ability is important because you’ll need it to reach the island containing the material required for the stone axe.

Step 3: Get the Stone Wood

Once you have the water-walking clogs, head to the island with the pink-leaf tree, also referred to as the stone tree.

Walk across the water and collect the stone wood there.

Step 4: Upgrade the Grindstone

Take the material you’ve obtained and use it to upgrade your grindstone.

Once the upgrade is available, you’ll be able to craft the stone axe.

Step 5: Craft the Stone Axe

Craft the stone axe.

Now you’re finally ready to find the secret entrance.

Step 6: Enter the Tunnel Near the Beginning

Head to the tunnel near the entrance of the game.

Walk all the way toward the back of the tunnel.

Eventually, you’ll reach an area where the tunnel becomes almost completely black.

Don’t turn around when it gets dark. Keep going.

Step 7: Find the Traffic Cone

After walking into the dark section a little, turn to your right.

You should spot a traffic cone.

That’s your landmark.

Walk toward it.

Step 8: Find the Hidden Door

Once you reach the traffic cone, turn around.

You should now see a door that wasn’t obvious from the previous direction.

Walk up to it and hit the door with your stone axe.

The door will open, revealing the secret developer room.

That’s all you need for You Found Our Secret Base.

Chop Chop Inc. Stone Figure Locations

The stone figures are spread around the map, and you’ll need to destroy all of them for My Kind of Zen.

These are the locations in the order they were found.

Stone Figure #1 – Behind the Windmill

Start near your base and cross the bridge.

As you head upward toward the Lab, look behind the windmill.

You’ll find a stone figure there.

It’s fairly easy to miss if you’re focused on reaching the Lab, so make a quick detour behind the windmill.

Stone Figure #2 – Near the Lab Entrance

The second figure is located right next to the Lab entrance.

When you’re standing at the Lab and looking outward, check toward the right side.

The stone figure should be sitting there.

This one is particularly easy to grab while you’re already visiting the Lab.

Stone Figure #3 – Castaway Cove

You’ll find another stone figure in Castaway Cove, in the area where the crabs are.

There’s one important catch: you need the water-walking clogs to reach this location.

So if you can’t get there yet, don’t waste time trying to find another route. Repair the windmill, get the clogs, and then return to Castaway Cove.

Stone Figure #4 – Bottom of the Cave

The next one is at the bottom of the cave after you take the wooden bridge downward.

This figure is smaller than the others, so keep your eyes open.

It’s quite easy to walk past it if you’re rushing through the cave.

Stone Figure #5 – Cave Near the Lava Waterfall

The final listed figure is at the bottom of the cave that you can enter through the tunnel near the beginning of the game.

Continue downward until you reach the area near the lava waterfall.

The stone figure is down there.

Take your time searching this area because the cave layout can make it easy to overlook smaller objects.

A Few Tips Before You Go for 100%

You don’t really need to follow a strict achievement order in Chop Chop Inc. Most of the list will unlock naturally as you play.

The main things I’d keep in the back of my mind are the stone axe, the water-walking ability, and the faction missions.

The water-walking upgrade opens up additional areas, while the stone axe eventually gives you access to the secret developer room. Meanwhile, the various factions become available as you continue using the City Planner.

And seriously, upgrade tree regrowth in the Lab early. You’ll thank yourself later.

One final funny detail: the game apparently tells you to “pet the chicken,” but according to the guide, that isn’t actually possible. So if you find yourself repeatedly trying to pet the chicken and wondering what you’re doing wrong… you’re probably not doing anything wrong. It seems the chicken simply doesn’t want your affection.
