If you’re trying to build Affinity with the Knights in Sovereign Tower, Meals are one of the easiest ways to give yourself a little boost. Once you’ve unlocked Meals through Arlin, you can give a Knight a meal before finishing your Round Table quests. The important part is choosing something that character actually likes.
Giving a Knight their preferred meal provides +1.5 Affinity and also gives them a +0.5 bonus score on their quest.
That might not sound huge at first, but Affinity can become surprisingly important. Some quests can reduce your relationship with a Knight, and if you’re already close to losing their personal quest progression, that extra Affinity can make a real difference.
So rather than handing out meals randomly, here’s a quick reference for who likes what.
Sovereign Tower Favorite Meals Guide – Every Knight’s Food
After unlocking the Meal system from Arlin, you’ll be able to prepare food for your Knights before completing Round Table quests.
A preferred meal gives two bonuses:
- +1.5 Affinity
- +0.5 bonus score to the Knight’s quest
The Affinity bonus is the part you’ll probably care about most when you’re trying to build relationships.
If you’re pursuing a particular Knight’s personal quests, feeding them their favorite meal before a potentially risky quest is a simple way to give yourself some extra breathing room.
And yes, some Knights like the same meals. You don’t need to find a completely different dish for every character.
Favorite Meals for Every Knight

The following Knights prefer Galette-Saucisse:
- Brunhilda
- Daguez
- Chester
- Dulahan

This is one of the more widely liked meals, so it’s a particularly useful recipe if several of the Knights you’re currently working on happen to be in this group.
Croque-Monsieur
Croque-Monsieur is preferred by:
- Chester
- Childeric
- Dulahan
- Gothild
- Gwendan
- Oliver
- Rufus
- The Wolf
- Victoria
You’ll notice a few familiar faces here. Chester, Dulahan, Oliver, Rufus and The Wolf also appear on the Galette-Saucisse list, so they give you multiple meal options depending on what you’ve got available.
Préfou
The Knights who favor Préfou are:
- Angelica
- Chester
- Daguez
- Dulahan
- Epicrate
- Ligia
- Tarcus

- Ursula
- Zolta
It’s a smaller group, but if you’re trying to build Affinity with Ursula or Zolta, it’s definitely worth remembering.

Which Meal Should You Make?
If you’re wondering which meals are worth prioritizing, I’d look at Crêpe, Galette-Saucisse, Croque-Monsieur, Préfou, and Brizhian Butter Shortbread first simply because they cover a lot of Knights.
Crêpe has one of the widest ranges of favorites, while Chester and Dulahan are particularly easy to satisfy because they have several preferred options.
The important thing is that you don’t need to force a meal onto someone just because you have it available. If you’re specifically trying to increase Affinity with one Knight, check their preferred meals first and use one of those.
Why Affinity Matters
The Affinity bonus is more important than it might initially appear.
Some quests can cause you to lose Affinity, and letting that relationship drop too far can interfere with a Knight’s personal quest progression. In more serious cases, a Knight can even leave.
That’s why Meals are worth using strategically rather than treating them as something you simply throw at whoever happens to be around.
If you’re about to send a Knight into a quest that could potentially hurt your relationship with them, giving them a favorite meal beforehand is a very easy way to add some extra Affinity and a small quest-score boost.
So, if you’re trying to romance a particular Knight, finish their personal quests, or simply keep your favorite character from walking out of the tower, keep their favorite meal handy.
