FEED IT Achievements Guide – Walkthrough and Endings

Welcome to our FEED IT 100% achievements guide. If you’re trying to unlock every achievement and discover all of the game’s endings, this guide will walk you through the important choices, secrets, and routes in each act.

In this FEED IT Achievements Guide, we’ll explain how to unlock the achievements across Acts 1, 2, and 3, including the starvation and punishment routes, secret endings, bathroom secrets, monster encounters, and other hidden interactions.

There is one achievement, Fed It, for which the original guide currently doesn’t provide a confirmed method. I’ve marked that clearly below so you don’t waste time looking for a guaranteed solution that hasn’t been established.

FEED IT Achievements Guide – Walkthrough and Endings

FEED IT has achievements spread across all three acts, with several requiring specific actions or choices.

Some achievements are very easy to unlock naturally, while others require you to deliberately choose between feeding the Monster and eating the food yourself.

There are also secret endings in Acts 1 and 2, so if you’re going for 100%, you’ll want to pay attention to the food you collect and the routes you take.

Flush Every Toilet

Achievement: …I have special needs

How to unlock: Flush every toilet in every act.

This achievement requires you to flush a toilet in Act 1, Act 2, and Act 3.

The bathroom locations are fixed, unlike many other rooms that can be randomized, so you can look for the bathroom during each act and interact with the toilet.

Make sure you actually flush it in all three acts.

Take a Shower in Every Act

Achievement: Places

How to unlock: Decompress inside the shower in every act.

For this achievement, you need to use the shower during all three acts.

Enter the shower, close the door and wait for the screen to fade to black and display text.

If the screen does not fade to black with the text, the game has not counted the interaction yet.

Repeat the shower interaction in Acts 1, 2, and 3.

Act 1 Achievements

Act 1 introduces the main gameplay loop and the most important choice in FEED IT: whether you feed the Monster or eat the food yourself.

Feed the Monster

Achievement: Feed It

How to unlock: Feed the Monster for the first time.

This is one of the easiest achievements in the game.

Simply find food and give it to the Monster for the first time.

You’ll unlock the achievement as soon as you complete the interaction.

Eat the Food Yourself

Achievement: You’ll regret this

How to unlock: Eat for the first time.

Instead of giving the food to the Monster, choose to eat it yourself.

This introduces the other major choice in Act 1 and can eventually lead into the punishment route.

Get Caught by the Monster

Achievement: Another day, another choice

How to unlock: Wake up in the bathroom for the first time.

During a Monster chase, allow yourself to get caught.

After being caught, you’ll wake up in the bathroom and unlock the achievement.

If you’re working toward the punishment route, this can happen naturally during the chase.

Talk to the Monster

Achievement: Enough chit-chat

How to unlock: Talk to the Monster for the first time.

When the Monster is sitting in front of the TV, you can interact with him.

Wait for the white interaction square to appear in front of his face and interact with him.

Sometimes the interaction prompt takes a little while to appear, so don’t worry if it isn’t immediately visible.

Act 1 Shower

Achievement: Your place

How to unlock: Decompress inside the shower.

Go into the bathroom, enter the shower and close the door.

Wait for the screen to fade to black with text.

Once the sequence completes, the achievement should unlock.

Find the Act 1 Secret

Achievement: I see you

How to unlock: Find one secret in Act 1.

Look for a hallway with a painting on the wall and a closet around the corner.

Interact with the painting.

It will reveal a hidden camera, which unlocks the achievement.

If you’re exploring the level normally, keep an eye out for unusual objects and interactions because FEED IT hides several secrets in ordinary-looking areas.

Trash Food for the First Time

Achievement: WHY?!

How to unlock: Trash something for the first time.

Pick up some food and take it to the trash bin.

Throw the food away to unlock the achievement.

This is a simple achievement, but it’s easy to overlook if you’re focused entirely on feeding yourself or the Monster.

Trash Too Much Food

Achievement: Get foxxy’d

How to unlock: Trash as much food as possible until the Monster attacks you.

Start throwing food into the bin repeatedly.

Continue doing this until the Monster eventually reacts and attacks you.

This achievement is basically a challenge to see how far you can push the food-wasting mechanic before the Monster has had enough.

Provoke the Monster in Act 1

Achievement: …You’re playing with fire

How to unlock: Eat food in front of the Monster.

Find food and eat it while you’re directly in front of the Monster.

This deliberately provokes him and unlocks the achievement.

Watch TV in Act 1

Achievement: This is what you’re missing

How to unlock: Watch a TV program in Act 1.

You cannot simply sit down and watch the TV immediately.

First, feed the Monster enough food until he tells you to leave because he is watching TV.

Once that happens, sit on the couch facing the television.

The TV sequence will then trigger and unlock the achievement.

Take a Shower While Starving

Achievement: No place

How to unlock: Decompress inside the shower while starving.

You need to reach the starvation state first.

When you become sufficiently hungry, the food you pick up will begin fading into static.

Once this happens, head to the bathroom.

Enter the shower, close the door and wait for the screen to fade to black.

Act 1 Punishment Route

Achievement: …You made a decision

How to unlock: Complete Act 1 through the Punishment Route.

For this route, choose to eat the food yourself instead of feeding it to the Monster.

This eventually triggers a chase sequence.

Complete the chase and continue through the resulting sequence to finish the punishment route and unlock the achievement.

Act 1 Starvation Route

Achievement: …You made no difference

How to unlock: Complete Act 1 through the Starvation Route.

This time, do the opposite.

Feed the Monster all of the food you find.

Eventually, you will starve.

Continue through the resulting starvation hallucination sequence to complete the route and unlock the achievement.

Act 1 Secret Ending

Achievement: I am already strong enough

How to unlock: Complete the Act 1 secret ending.

The secret ending requires you to eat all possible food in the level.

Once you’ve eaten everything, the Monster will chase you.

Normally, you would follow the intended escape route. For the secret ending, you need to get around the Monster and head back toward the direction he originally came from.

Your goal is the front door.

One reliable method is to use the table near the hallway to get behind the Monster.

Once the chase begins:

  1. Go toward the hallway.
  2. Turn toward the table on the left.
  3. Run around the table to get in front of or behind the Monster.
  4. Move toward the direction the Monster originally came from.
  5. Continue toward the front door.
  6. If you’ve eaten all the available food, the front door should be open.
  7. Go through the door to trigger the secret ending.

The important part is eating all possible food before attempting this route.

Act 2 Achievements

Act 2 introduces more mechanics and another set of route-specific achievements.

Survive a Three-Minute Chase

Achievement: I like playing with my food

How to unlock: Escape the Monster for 3 minutes in Act 1 or Act 2.

Although this can technically be done in Act 1, Act 2 is easier for this achievement.

Eat the food to trigger the Monster chase.

During the chase, head toward the meat locker and use the room’s layout to keep looping around the area.

The fence creates a barrier that makes it harder for the Monster to catch you.

Before attempting the achievement, spend some time learning the room so you don’t accidentally run into a dead end during the chase.

Once you’ve survived for three minutes, the achievement should unlock.

Activate the Machine Three Times

Achievement: In Love with (the Wrath of) the Machine

How to unlock: Activate the Machine 3 times.

In Act 2, you’ll find a lever connected to the machine.

The lever can only be pulled when its light is on.

Wait for the light and pull the lever.

Repeat this three times to unlock the achievement.

Find the Act 2 Secret

Achievement: Damn food inspectors

How to unlock: Find one secret in Act 2.

Go to the room containing the bed and head downstairs.

Look for the closet.

Interact with it and rubber ducks will fall out.

This interaction counts as the Act 2 secret and unlocks the achievement.

See the Deer’s Reflection

Achievement: Oh deer!

How to unlock: Spot a deer’s reflection in Act 2.

First, you need to reach the starvation state.

Keep yourself hungry until the food begins fading into static.

Once you’ve reached this point, go to the bathroom and look into the mirror.

The deer’s reflection should appear, unlocking the achievement.

Provoke the Monster in Act 2

Achievement: The hand that feeds

How to unlock: Eat food in front of the Monster.

Just like in Act 1, deliberately eat food while standing in front of the Monster.

This provokes him and unlocks the achievement.

Act 2 Starvation Route

Achievement: Too late to stop

How to unlock: Complete Act 2 through the Starvation Route.

Feed the Monster all of the food you find throughout Act 2.

This will eventually cause you to starve.

Continue through the starvation hallucination sequence to complete the route and unlock the achievement.

Act 2 Punishment Route

Achievement: You server a purpose, now

How to unlock: Complete Act 2 through the Punishment Route.

Eat the food yourself instead of feeding it to the Monster.

This will eventually trigger a chase.

Complete the chase sequence and continue through the resulting events to finish the punishment route.

Act 2 Secret Ending

Achievement: Rage against the Machine!

How to unlock: Complete the Act 2 secret ending.

The Act 2 secret ending works similarly to the Act 1 secret ending.

You need to eat all possible food in the level.

Once you’ve done that, the Monster will chase you.

Instead of following the normal escape route, find a way to get around the Monster and head toward the direction he originally came from.

The meat locker is useful here because you can use the room’s layout to get behind the Monster.

Once you’ve reached the front door after eating all the required food, it should open and trigger the secret ending.

Act 3 Achievements

Act 3 changes the nature of the food and contains several of the game’s more unusual interactions.

Provoke the Monster in Act 3

Achievement: Another ♥♥♥♥♥

How to unlock: Eat food in front of the Monster.

Pick up food and eat it directly in front of the Monster.

The Monster will respond with a long rant, and the achievement will unlock.

Find the Amputee Reflection

Achievement: You’re missing something

How to unlock: Spot an amputee’s reflection in Act 3.

Act 3 changes much of the food into various body parts.

You can encounter things such as your head, arms and legs.

After eating or feeding one of these body parts, head to the bathroom and look into the mirror.

The achievement can be triggered by seeing the appropriate reflection.

One reported method is to eat or feed your head to the Monster and then look in the bathroom mirror.

Try to Satisfy the Monster

Achievement: You fool

How to unlock: Try to satisfy the Monster in Act 3.

Choose to feed the Monster instead of feeding yourself.

Continue through the resulting chase sequence.

After the chase, you don’t need to worry about continuing to feed the Monster for this achievement.

Complete Act 3

Achievement: Nowhere is safe

How to unlock: Complete Act 3.

This achievement is straightforward.

Finish Act 3 using whichever route you choose.

You don’t need to follow a particular feeding choice for this achievement.

Get the Main Ending

Achievement: You’re safe now

How to unlock: Achieve the Main Ending.

Complete Act 3 to reach the game’s main ending.

Your choice between feeding the Monster and feeding yourself does not prevent you from reaching the main ending.

Once Act 3 is complete, the achievement should unlock.

FEED IT Endings Guide

There are several routes and endings to discover throughout the game.

The important choices mainly revolve around what you do with the food.

Starvation Route

The starvation route requires you to feed the Monster the food instead of eating it yourself.

As you continue giving the Monster food, you eventually become starving and enter the related hallucination sequence.

This route can be completed in Acts 1 and 2.

Punishment Route

The punishment route is the opposite.

Instead of feeding the Monster, eat the food yourself.

This eventually triggers a Monster chase.

Complete the chase and continue through the resulting sequence to finish the route.

This route is available in Acts 1 and 2.

Act 1 Secret Ending

For the Act 1 secret ending, eat all possible food.

When the Monster starts chasing you, don’t simply follow the normal route.

Find a way around the Monster and return toward the front door.

If you have eaten all the required food, the door should be open.

Act 2 Secret Ending

The Act 2 secret ending follows the same general idea.

Eat all available food, trigger the chase and use the environment to get around the Monster.

The meat locker is particularly useful for getting behind him.

Then return toward the front door and escape through it.

The Fed It Achievement

Achievement: Fed It

How to unlock: Feed the Monster for the first time.

There is an important distinction here: the available source guide lists Feed It as the achievement for feeding the Monster for the first time, but its author also notes that the achievement was not fully understood at the time of writing.

If the achievement does not unlock after your first feeding interaction, there may be an additional condition or a problem with the current achievement implementation.

Because there is no confirmed additional method in the supplied information, I would not recommend wasting time repeating random actions. This achievement may require further discovery or a game update.
