Din’s Champion Quest Guide – Locations, Find Quest Targets

Welcome to our Din’s Champion quest guide. If you’re struggling to find quests or wondering why some quests aren’t showing in the Lifestone menu, you’re not alone. The game doesn’t always make the full quest system obvious.

In this guide, we’ll explain how to see all available quests, find quest targets, use the map and search features, and handle quests from other clans. We’ll also cover what to do when a target has moved away from its expected location.

Once you understand these systems, questing becomes much easier and you won’t have to spend ages wandering around the world looking for one character.

Din’s Champion Quest Guide – Locations, Find Quest Targets

The first thing you should know is that the Lifestone quest menu doesn’t always show every available quest.

Some quests remain hidden until you have visited the location where they are offered.

This can make it look like you simply don’t have any more quests available when there are actually additional ones waiting to be discovered.

Turn Off Only Known Locations

If you want to see the complete list of quests, open the quest menu and look for the “Only known locations” option.

Make sure this option is unticked.

With it enabled, the game limits the quest list to locations you have already discovered.

Turning it off lets you see quests from locations you haven’t visited yet.

For me, this is one of the first settings worth checking if the quest list seems unusually short.

Accept a Quest First

Once you’ve found a quest you’re interested in, accept it through the normal quest menu.

After accepting it, you don’t need to blindly explore the entire world to find your objective.

Din’s Champion gives you several tools to help locate quest targets.

Use the Quest Map

The easiest way to find a quest target is to use the map button inside the quest.

Open the relevant quest and select its map option.

This will show you the general area where the target should be located.

Keep in mind that the marker represents an area rather than necessarily giving you an exact position.

Quest Targets Can Move

One thing that can make quests confusing is that targets don’t always stay in one place.

You may arrive at the marked location only to discover that the target isn’t there.

Don’t immediately assume the quest is broken.

Some targets move around the world.

In some cases, they can wander quite far away from their original area and may even end up somewhere awkward, such as a ravine.

This means the quest map is best treated as a starting point rather than a guarantee that the target will be standing exactly on the marker.

Search for a Quest Target

If you’ve reached the quest area and still can’t find the target, there is another option.

Use the search feature in the quest menu and search for the specific target you’re trying to locate.

The game will then mark the target’s current approximate location on your map.

This can save you a lot of time when the target has wandered away.

There is one downside: the search costs coins.

So before using it, make sure you have enough money to cover the cost.

If the target is simply a short distance away, it may be better to explore the marked area yourself first.

What to Do When the Target Is Missing

If you arrive at the quest location and the target isn’t there, I recommend checking things in this order:

Check the Map Area

First, search the area shown by the quest’s map button.

The target may simply be somewhere nearby.

Look Around the Surrounding Area

Don’t limit yourself to the exact marker.

Targets can move, so check nearby paths, roads, hills, and other areas around the marked location.

Use Quest Search

If you still can’t find the target, use the search option in the quest menu.

The game will update your map with the target’s approximate current location.

This costs coins, but it can be much faster than searching the entire map.

Other Clans and Their Quests

Din’s Champion also has other clans moving around the world.

These clans aren’t just background characters.

They can fight enemies, interact with you, get in your way, or even help you depending on the situation.

Once you’ve discovered another clan, you can interact with it through the Relations menu.

Use the Relations Menu

The Relations menu is important when dealing with other clans.

Once a clan has been discovered, open Relations to see what you can do with them.

You’ll want to become familiar with this menu because some clans may require regular appeasement.

If you ignore unhappy neighboring clans for too long, the relationship can become more difficult to manage.

Trade With Other Clans

Through the Relations menu, you can interact with other clans and make trades.

If a clan offers something useful, you can use the available trading options to make an agreement.

This gives you another reason to check your clan relationships instead of treating them as something purely cosmetic.

Make Agreements

The Relations menu also allows you to make agreements with other clans.

These agreements can affect how you interact with neighboring groups, so keep an eye on your relationships as you progress.

Some clans may remain friendly, while others can eventually require more serious action if relations deteriorate.

Find Quests From Other Clans

Other clans can also have their own quests.

Once you’ve discovered a clan, open the Relations menu and look through its available quests.

This is important because these quests are handled differently from quests you receive through your Lifestone.

Where to Turn In Clan Quests

If you complete a quest given by another clan, do not return to your Lifestone expecting to turn it in there.

You need to return to the relevant clan and turn the quest in through the Relations menu.

This is an easy detail to miss.

So if you have completed a clan quest and can’t figure out where to hand it in, go back to that clan and use the Relations menu.

Quick Quest-Finding Method

When you’re trying to complete a normal quest, this is the easiest process to follow:

  1. Open the Lifestone quest menu.
  2. Untick Only known locations to reveal more quests.
  3. Accept the quest you want.
  4. Open the quest’s map.
  5. Travel to the marked area.
  6. Search the surrounding area if the target isn’t immediately visible.
  7. Use the quest search feature if the target has moved.
  8. Remember that the search costs coins.
  9. Complete the objective.
  10. Return to the appropriate location to turn in the quest.

Questing in Din’s Champion becomes much simpler once you know where the game hides its information.

The biggest thing to remember is that the Lifestone doesn’t necessarily show every quest when Only known locations is enabled. Turn that option off if you want to see the full list.

When you’re hunting a target, use the quest map first, but remember that targets can move. If you’ve searched the area and still can’t find them, the paid search option can reveal their approximate current location.

And when you’re dealing with other clans, remember to use the Relations menu. That’s where you can trade, make agreements, find their quests, and turn those quests in once you’ve completed them.
