Fell & Sell Resource Farming Guide – Locations, Recipes

Looking for the best places to farm resources in Fell & Sell? If you’re running low on crafting materials, recipes, or other useful loot, knowing which floors to focus on can save you a lot of time. Different areas are better for different materials, so wandering around randomly isn’t always the most efficient approach.

In general, Levels 11-15 are the best overall farming range, especially if you’re after valuable crafting materials. You’ll also want to spend some time breaking objects in the environment and opening every crate you find, as plenty of resources can come from objects that are easy to overlook.

Below, you’ll find a quick breakdown of the best farming locations for the game’s most useful resources, along with the specific objects and areas you should focus on.

General Farming Tips

Before getting into specific resources, there are two things you should keep in mind.

First, break the environment. A surprising amount of useful material comes from destroying objects around the level. If something looks like it might contain a resource, it’s usually worth testing.

Second, open crates and chests whenever possible. Some materials have specific environmental sources, but crates can also provide useful random resources and are particularly important when you’re looking for recipes or rarer materials.

Forest Farming

The Forest is one of the better early-game locations for basic supplies and recipes.

If you’re looking for Leather, check leather stands, beds and skeletons throughout the area. It’s a convenient place to gather the material without having to push too far into the dungeon.

The Forest is also useful for Wood, especially when breaking wooden objects and tree roots.

For recipes, keep an eye out for the Forest Fountain and other special locations. Boss rooms can also contain recipe-related loot, so don’t ignore those chests.

Levels 1-5

The first few levels are mostly useful for basic materials.

Leather

Look for:

  • Leather stands
  • Beds
  • Skeletons

Wood

Wood can be collected from various wooden objects, although later floors can become more efficient if you need large quantities.

Bones

Skeleton remains are one of the easiest sources of Bones in this part of the dungeon.

Levels 1-5 are also worth remembering for early resource runs when you don’t want to deal with the stronger enemies found deeper in the dungeon.

Levels 6-10

Once you reach Levels 6-10, the available materials become more specialized.

This range is particularly useful for Wood, Mushrooms, Glowing Orbs, Talismans and Idols.

Mushrooms

Mushrooms can grow directly on the floor, so keep an eye on the ground while exploring. They can also appear inside chests.

Glowing Orbs

Look for Glowing Orb Plants and check chests throughout these levels. These are good sources when you’re trying to build up a stockpile of Glowing Orbs.

Talismans and Idols

Levels 6-10 are also worth farming if you’re specifically looking for Talismans and Idols. Goblin-related loot is particularly important here, so don’t skip areas containing goblin enemies.

Levels 11-15

If you only want to remember one thing from this guide, remember Levels 11-15.

These floors are generally the best overall choice for farming valuable crafting materials. They become especially useful once you know which environmental objects can be destroyed for specific resources.

Iron

Iron is one of the main reasons to farm Levels 11-15.

The key is environment destruction. Don’t just defeat enemies and move on. Look around the room and destroy metallic objects such as:

  • Hanging chains
  • Metal urns and vases
  • Candlesticks
  • Standing chandeliers
  • Metal skeleton cages

Breaking these objects can provide Iron, making environmental exploration an important part of your farming route.

Bloodstones

For Bloodstones, look for the floating red crystal shards that appear throughout Levels 11-15.

These are much better targets than the Bloodstone pedestals found on Levels 1-5.

The lower-floor pedestals don’t provide Bloodstones, so don’t waste time trying to farm them there. If you’re specifically after Bloodstones, push into Levels 11-15 and look for the floating crystals, particularly in larger rooms.

Runestones

Runestones are relatively straightforward because they can naturally drop from enemies, but there are better ways to target them.

One useful location is the Mana Room, which can appear on Levels 6-10. This room allows you to trade some of your maximum Mana capacity for Runestones.

Another good source is the petrified people found on Levels 11-15. Look for petrified bodies that are praying or have been slain and interact with them to collect Runestones.

Metal urns can also provide Runestones when destroyed, so it’s worth breaking them while you’re already farming Iron.

Gold Ore

For Gold Ore, Levels 11-15 are your best bet.

Unlike Iron, you don’t need to spend as much time searching for specific environmental objects. Instead, focus on opening the chests you encounter while exploring these floors.

If you’re already doing an Iron or Bloodstone farming run, check every chest along the way so you can collect Gold Ore at the same time.

Alcohol

Levels 11-15 are also useful for farming Alcohol.

Check:

  • Chests
  • Barrels
  • Mushroom-related crafting

Since you’re likely to encounter plenty of these objects while exploring the higher floors, Alcohol can be collected naturally while farming other resources.

Best Overall Farming Strategy

If you’re trying to stock up on several resources rather than farming just one material, Levels 11-15 should be your main destination.

While exploring, don’t rush straight from room to room. Break metallic objects for Iron, destroy floating red crystals for Bloodstones, check petrified bodies for Runestones, and open chests for Gold Ore, Alcohol and other useful materials.

For early-game materials such as Leather and basic Wood, the Forest and Levels 1-5 are more convenient. Levels 6-10 become more useful for Mushrooms, Glowing Orbs and goblin-related loot, while Levels 11-15 are where you’ll want to spend most of your time once you’re ready to farm valuable materials.

Farming in Fell & Sell becomes much easier once you know what each section of the dungeon is good for. Instead of searching every level for everything, choose your destination based on the material you need and focus on the objects that can actually drop it.

For general farming, Levels 11-15 are the clear all-rounder, especially for Iron, Bloodstones, Runestones and other valuable crafting materials. Just remember to destroy the environment and open chests as you go — some of the best resources are hiding in plain sight.
