Aliens: Fireteam Elite 2 Intel Locations Guide

If you’re trying to collect all the Intel in Aliens: Fireteam Elite 2, some of them are easy to walk past because they can be tucked away in rooms, placed on desks, or sitting near other objects. Luckily, there are only two Intel collectibles in each mission, so you can grab everything without having to search every corner of the map.

In this guide, I’ll show you all the Intel locations in Aliens: Fireteam Elite 2, including the mission where each one appears and some simple directions to help you find it. I’ve kept the directions practical so you can quickly check where to go while you’re playing.

Another useful thing to know is that the Intel collectibles are all WY PDAs and use the same in-game asset. You can also loot them again on later runs, even after you’ve already collected them, and receive 50 credits for duplicates. So don’t worry if you spot one you’ve already picked up.

Aliens: Fireteam Elite 2 Intel Locations Guide

There are two Intel collectibles in each mission. Some are placed directly along the normal path, while others require you to take a small detour.

I’ve organized the locations in mission order below. For each collectible, you’ll find its name followed by an approximate location and directions to help you recognize the area.

1-1 Banshee Down — Prologue

Hits the Spot

Location: Mess hall, early in the mission.

Look for the Mess Hall sign near the beginning of the mission. The Intel is inside this area, so you should be able to grab it without going too far off the main route.

Traitors

Location: Shooting range, around the middle of the mission.

Continue until you reach the area with the Armory sign. The shooting range is around this part of the mission, and you’ll find the Intel there.

2-1 Piping Hot — Rescue and Recovery

W589BN

Location: Early in the mission, shortly after the first Xeno fight.

After the first fight with the Xenos, continue toward the crash site. The Intel is nearby, so keep an eye out around this section before moving too far ahead.

Dreaming

Location: Mid-to-late mission.

You’ll eventually reach the first room where you can see hive material. The Intel is sitting on a terminal in this room.

2-2 Breaking and Entering — Rescue and Recovery

Writing Reports

Location: Mid mission.

After you hear the audio mentioning that three Xenos are being delivered tomorrow, continue through the area. The Intel can be found shortly after this audio plays.

Fauna Evaluation

Location: Late mission.

You can find this one just after leaving the medical area. Keep looking around immediately after you exit Medical rather than rushing toward the next objective.

2-3 Synth Headache — Rescue and Recovery

Warship Inbound

Location: After the second terminal.

Grab the Intel shortly after reaching the second terminal, before you head upstairs.

Where’s Veronica?

Location: Mid mission, outside.

After going up a staircase and passing through a double door, look for the hallway near the second ammo box. Head down the hallway to the right and you’ll find the Intel.

3-1 Bomb Squad — Boarding Party

Love You

Location: Early in the mission.

Look for the room containing the first terminal. The Intel is sitting on a bloody body in this area.

Missed Check In

Location: Bunk room.

Continue until you reach the bunk room. The Intel is located near the ammo crate, making this one fairly straightforward to spot if you check the room instead of immediately continuing.

3-2 Dumpster Diving — Boarding Party

Almost

Location: Early in the mission.

After the first room where you fight the Working Joe swarm, continue forward until you reach an open elevator. The Intel is inside the elevator.

Saw Hector Again

Location: Mid mission.

After the room where you fight the first Siren, look around near a bloody body on the floor. The Intel is located in this section.

3-3 Sleep Study — Boarding Party

Checking In

Location: Early in the mission.

After leaving the HC7 room, move away from the waypoint and head down the hallway. You’ll find the Intel shortly before going downstairs to fight the Crusher.

Workers Comp

Location: Late mission.

After exiting the hive room, look near the ammo crate. The Intel is located in this area.

4-1 Power Problems — Rock Bottom

Hey Newbie

Location: Mid mission.

After passing the second ammo box, enter the room and go all the way to the right. Head down the hallway and check the terminal.

This is just before the room containing the large shipping containers, so it’s a good landmark to use if you’re trying to find it during a mission run.

To Do List

Location: Late mission.

After the ambush room, look for the barrels. Before going downstairs into the hive room, go straight ahead and check the barrels for the Intel.

4-2 Running on Fumes — Rock Bottom

Shift Coverage

Location: Office after the hive room.

Once you pass through the hive room, look for the office just ahead. The Intel is sitting on a bookshelf inside.

Not Giving Up

Location: Mid-to-late mission.

During the Investigate Warehouse objective, look for the large room on the left side.

Go through the Restricted Access door and check the room afterward. The Intel is located inside this area.

4-3 Hive Mind — Rock Bottom

Sector G

Location: Early mission.

After the first large room, enter the tunnel containing the ammo chest. Continue toward the end of the hallway and check the barrels.

The Intel is sitting there.

Finally

Location: Mid mission.

Once you enter the hive room, look toward the right side. The Intel is against the wall in a lit area.

5-1 Canyon Crawlers — Ancient Anomaly

This Changes Things

Location: Right at the beginning of the mission.

Before the first combat encounter, walk through the door and enter the room. Look at the desk on the left to find the Intel.

This is one of the easier collectibles in the game because it’s very close to the start.

This Isn’t Worth It

Location: End of the mission.

Near the end, you’ll reach the lab. Look for the body near the right Xeno egg window.

Make sure you pick this one up before your teammate triggers the end of the mission. If you move too quickly through the final objective, you can miss your chance to grab it.

5-2 MUTUR May I — Ancient Anomaly

This Is Amazing

Location: Early mission.

When you enter the Engineer ship, you’ll eventually reach the large globe-shaped room. Look for a WY crate in this area.

The Intel is sitting on the crate.

Get Me the Hell Out of Here

Location: Mid mission.

Continue until you reach the room containing the second ammo crate. Check the table in this room to find the Intel.

5-3 Deadly Descendants — Ancient Anomaly

Found Something

Location: Large room with the first ammo crate.

When you reach the large room containing the first ammo crate, head down the left ramp. Look around the equipment in this area to find the Intel.

Calling HQ

Location: Mid-to-late mission.

After passing through the cryopods room, you’ll enter a large room. As you walk in, look toward the left side.

The Intel is sitting on a cart.

6-1 Reckoning — Final Endeavor

Massive Specimen

Location: After the garage with two Praetorians.

Continue into the lab after the garage area containing the two Praetorians. Go all the way toward the back and check the right side of the room.

You’ll find the Intel there.

I Miss You

Location: Before the chase sequence.

After the Queen reveal, head toward the big doors leading into the hive room. Before starting the chase, check just to the left of the large doors.

The Intel is located there, so make sure you grab it before continuing the objective.

The easiest way to collect everything is to take a few seconds to check the rooms around ammo crates, terminals, desks, bodies, and other obvious points of interest. A lot of the Intel is placed around these objects.

Also, don’t rush the end of a mission. A few collectibles, particularly This Isn’t Worth It in 5-1, are close to the final objective. If your teammate triggers the mission ending before you pick them up, you’ll have to come back on another run.

The good news is that you can replay missions whenever you need to. And because previously collected Intel can still be looted for 50 credits, revisiting missions isn’t completely pointless once you’ve completed your collection.

With the locations above, you should be able to work through every mission and collect all the Intel without having to search the entire map.
