Totems can make a noticeable difference in Orc Incremental, especially when you start paying attention to how their effects interact with Fighters, Spellcasters, Creatures, and Machines of War. Some are focused on Rage, while others trigger explosions, healing, Rupture, or additional damage.
In this post, I’ll go through all the Totems currently shown in the game and explain exactly what each one does. This makes it easier for us to quickly check an effect instead of searching through the Totem list during gameplay.
I also find that reading the effects individually helps when you’re trying to understand what kind of units work best with a particular Totem. A Totem that looks simple on its own can become much more interesting when its trigger matches your team setup.
Orc Incremental All Totems Guide – How to unlock
Below, I’ve listed every Totem from the provided records, along with its rarity and effect. I’ll keep each explanation close to what the Totem actually does so you can quickly understand how it works.
Wolf Totem
Rarity: Common
Wolf activates when one of your allied Fighters with Rage dies.
When that happens, the Fighter explodes and deals damage equal to 10 times its damage in an area with a radius of 100 units.
This can be particularly useful if your Fighters are regularly gaining Rage before being defeated.
Jade Snake Totem
Rarity: Common
Jade Snake activates when one of your allied Spellcasters drops below 30% HP.
The Totem gives Rage to the nearest allied Fighter. That Fighter will then taunt enemies within a 100-unit radius.
For me, this effect works as a reaction to your Spellcasters getting into danger, helping shift enemy attention toward a nearby Fighter.
Jackal Totem
Rarity: Rare
Jackal has a simple team-based trigger.
If every allied Fighter dies, all your allied Spellcaster units gain Rage.
This means your Spellcasters can receive a boost after your entire Fighter frontline has been eliminated.
Golden Idol Totem
Rarity: Common
Golden Idol is connected to the Rupture status effect.
Whenever an enemy affected by Rupture dies, all allied units are healed for 5% of that enemy’s maximum HP.
This gives your team a healing effect whenever you successfully eliminate enemies suffering from Rupture.
Iron Snake Totem
Rarity: Common
Iron Snake activates based on damage taken by your allied Fighters.
Every fifth hit received by an allied Fighter is reflected in an area with a 200-unit radius.
If your Fighters are constantly taking hits, this Totem can turn part of that incoming pressure back against nearby enemies.
Iron Drake Totem
Rarity: Rare
Iron Drake affects your allied Machine of War units.
Whenever one of these units dies, it explodes and deals damage equal to 2% of its damage globally.
This means the effect can still contribute damage even after your Machine of War units are defeated.
Iron Bear Totem
Rarity: Common
Iron Bear activates the first time an allied Machine of War drops below 30% HP.
That unit immediately fires a salvo of five shots.
It’s essentially a low-health trigger that gives your Machine of War one additional burst of attacks when it reaches critical health.
Iron Eagle Totem
Rarity: Rare
Iron Eagle increases the damage dealt by allied Machine of War units against enemies suffering from Rupture.
These units deal 1.75 times their normal damage to affected enemies.
If you’re already using effects that apply Rupture, this Totem gives your Machines of War a direct reason to focus on those targets.
Bloodfeather Totem
Rarity: Rare
Bloodfeather activates whenever one of your allied Creature units dies.
When this happens, the five nearest allied Fighters receive Rage.
This gives your Creature deaths another purpose by helping nearby Fighters become more aggressive.
Snake Totem
Rarity: Common
Snake triggers whenever one of your allied Spellcasters dies.
The enemy responsible for killing that Spellcaster becomes afflicted with Rupture.
This means your fallen Spellcasters can still leave a negative effect behind on the enemy that defeated them.
Drake Totem
Rarity: Rare
Drake activates when an allied Creature dies.
The Creature deals damage equal to 100% of its maximum HP in an area with a 200-unit radius.
This turns the death of your Creature units into a damaging explosion against nearby enemies.
Bear Totem
Rarity: Common
Bear activates when one of your allied Creatures drops below 30% HP.
That Creature gives Rage to every allied unit within a 100-unit radius.
If several allies are fighting close together, one Creature reaching low health can give multiple nearby units Rage at the same time.
Desert Eagle Totem
Rarity: Rare
Desert Eagle triggers whenever one of your allied units gains Rage.
When that happens, the enemy positioned furthest to the rear takes damage equal to three times the damage of the allied unit that gained Rage.
This gives Rage effects an additional offensive benefit by allowing your team to strike enemies positioned at the back.
Twilight Catcher Totem
Rarity: Rare
Twilight Catcher only activates when you are down to your final allied unit.
Once only one allied unit remains, the corpses of all previously defeated allied units rise as ghosts.
Those ghosts attack three times.
This can create one final offensive push when your team is close to being completely defeated.
Jade Drake Totem
Rarity: Epic
Jade Drake activates whenever one of your allied Creature units kills an enemy.
After the kill, all allied Fighter units gain Rage.
This creates a direct connection between Creature eliminations and increased aggression from your Fighters.
Jade Bear Totem
Rarity: Common
Jade Bear triggers whenever an allied Spellcaster dies.
The nearest allied Fighter gains Rage.
This is a straightforward effect that allows a fallen Spellcaster to trigger a Rage effect for a nearby Fighter.
Jade Eagle Totem
Rarity: Common
Jade Eagle activates the first time an allied Fighter drops below 30% HP.
When this happens, the Fighter gives Rage to allied Spellcaster units within a 100-unit radius.
This lets your Fighters support nearby Spellcasters when they reach critical health.
Amber Snake Totem
Rarity: Common
Amber Snake activates whenever an allied Fighter kills an enemy.
The nearest allied Creature gains Rage.
This gives your Fighters a way to trigger Rage effects for nearby Creature units through successful kills.
Amber Bear Totem
Rarity: Epic
Amber Bear activates when an allied Fighter takes lethal damage.
Instead of immediately dying, that Fighter survives for 2 more seconds before finally being defeated.
Those additional seconds can potentially give the Fighter time to continue attacking or trigger other effects before its death.
Amber Drake Totem
Rarity: Rare
Amber Drake has a very specific death trigger.
When the second-to-last allied unit dies, it explodes and deals damage equal to 50% of its maximum HP in an area with a 300-unit radius.
The large radius makes this a powerful final-stage effect when your team is close to being wiped out.
Amber Eagle Totem
Rarity: Common
Amber Eagle activates based on allied Spellcaster attacks.
Every fifth attack made by an allied Spellcaster applies Rupture to its target.
This gives your Spellcasters a consistent way to apply Rupture during combat.
Longtail Fox Totem
Rarity: Common
Longtail Fox triggers whenever an allied Spellcaster kills an enemy.
The nearest allied Fighter gains 10% attack speed.
This can help create a connection between successful Spellcaster kills and faster Fighter attacks.
Scalecarved Totem
Rarity: Common
Scalecarved Totem activates whenever an allied Creature kills an enemy.
The allied unit with the lowest HP is healed for 10% of the Creature’s maximum HP.
This gives your Creature kills a healing benefit and automatically directs that healing toward the ally that needs it the most.
Obsidian Beacon Totem
Rarity: Common
Obsidian Beacon affects the attacks of allied Machine of War units.
Every fifth attack becomes a heavy shot.
The heavy shot deals:
- 2 times damage
- Double the normal area-of-effect radius
This gives your Machines of War a stronger attack at regular intervals and can be especially useful when enemies are grouped together.
These Totems offer a wide range of effects, from Rage triggers and Rupture applications to healing, explosions, attack speed bonuses, and powerful low-health effects.
When I look through the list, one thing that stands out is how many Totems depend on your unit types working together. Fighters can trigger effects for Creatures, Spellcasters can give benefits to Fighters, and Machines of War have their own collection of powerful effects.
The best way to understand which Totems fit your setup is to pay attention to what your team is already doing. If you’re constantly generating Rage, using Rupture, or relying heavily on a specific unit type, choosing Totems that react to those actions can make their effects much more valuable.
As more Totems become available, keeping track of their triggers and unit interactions will make it much easier for you to decide which ones fit the way you play.
