Hunting down every single unlock in Yandere Virus can get downright chaotic when killer bots are breathing down your neck. You will wipe out fast on the higher difficulties if you do not know the layout or how to move quickly.
You are going to master simple stamina tricks, sneak past clueless stalkers, and blast through both solo and co-op runs on every map. Let’s get your completion score maxed out without tearing your hair out.

Techniques & Advice
Tapping TAB pings the robot’s location and lights up the surrounding layout with glowing blue tiles for a few seconds.
Smash a pumpkin three times, release F, and start hitting it again right away. If you just hold it down, your character takes an annoying break after the third swing, so resetting your hits makes busting them up way faster.
Anyone you bring back to life will respawn with just 30 HP.
Don’t carry pumpkins if you have an open lane—roll them instead! They move so much faster across the floor, and trust me, they keep rolling for quite a distance down straight hallways.
Hitting Crouch drops whatever pumpkin you’re holding immediately. It’s an absolute lifesaver if a monster corners you unexpectedly.
The NPC vision cones are pretty forgiving. You can tail right behind them or keep a modest distance in a straight line without alerting them at all.
Do everything you can to avoid the Corn stalker. Once it locks eyes on you, it practically never drops aggro—you’ll either have to take a hit or break its pathfinding on the map geometry.
Stay well away from the hazard plants. They hit you with heavy knockback as an out-of-bounds barrier, and since you can’t heal past 30 HP anyway, taking free damage here is just throwing your run.
Most monsters eventually give up if you break line of sight and gain enough distance. Just keep in mind that most male NPCs run faster than you, so running in the open won’t work—break their line of sight behind doors or corner terrain instead. A few of them even pause to strike a silly pose or wander off after hitting you once.

Map Advice
Normal Mode Map
Whenever Heezy is on your tail, sprint right into the church to duck out of sight. You only have two threats to track here: Heezy sticks strictly to the upper section, while Moa handles the lower floor.
My best tip is to grab both platonic balls first before curing anyone, because nasty regular monsters spawn in to replace them the second they’re cured.
Quick heads-up: Hardcore throws in a third pursuer, which includes that relentlessly aggressive Corn enemy.
Danger Mode Map
Your best escape routes here are ducking behind closing doors or leaping straight off the balcony. You’ll only face two enemies normally, but they introduce gunners whose shots pass straight through solid walls, so never sprint in a straight line.
Bumping the difficulty up to Hardcore adds two more enemies to the mix, bringing the total to four.
Nightmare Mode Castle Map
The Castle introduces two nasty twists, starting with pumpkin mimics. Cracking open a gourd can randomly summon a mimic that hounds you for about 10 to 20 seconds before despawning.
On top of that, Bukuki moves at least as fast as your sprint speed and constantly chucks freezing ice bombs your way.
Whenever things get hairy, use the stairs or castle parapets to jump onto the rooftops. Monsters completely lose aggro and can’t reach you up there.
Whatever you do, don’t climb the inside of the towers, as vicious plants are waiting upstairs to chomp you. You’ll usually face 4–5 enemies here, though Hardcore cranks that up to about 8 total, with 3 of them being Corn.
Nightmare Mode Hospital Map
This layout is pretty tight and features some tricky hazards. Non-yandere enemies love to wander completely out of bounds and return later, occasionally body-blocking exit doors when you least expect it.
Watch out for this stage’s unique hazard: a slithering, snake-like creature that strikes you if you stand in one spot for too long.
When you need to drop aggro, duck behind office desks, squeeze beneath stairwells, or crouch behind the ambulance parked outside. Be careful around open ward rooms, though, since enemies can easily spot you through the windows.
Expect around four enemies normally. On Hardcore, expect around six enemies roaming the halls, and every single one is that eerie white creature.

Hell Mode Map
Fair warning: this map is by far the buggiest and laggiest area in the entire game, but it’s totally manageable once you know the tricks. Pretty much all of your safe spots involve glitching out of bounds or chilling on rooftops.
You’ll need to gather 28 pumpkins total to craft 7 Platonic Orbs, since your goal is rescuing everyone. Normal mode throws 7 enemies at you, while Hardcore ramps it up to 10—including 3 corn stalkers. Here are the four key cheese spots you should use.
Reaching these spots just takes a few easy jumps. For the fence route, jump straight onto it and follow the road along the top to cross safely over to the other side.
Co-Op Achievements

Simply run over and revive any teammate who gets knocked down.

Quick tip: tackling these with a buddy makes life about three times easier, though you can still grind them out solo if you’re patient.

Don’t sweat it if you hit the wrong target by mistake; you can always gather more pumpkins, craft another orb, and try again.
Stage Clearing Achievements
Stage Clear Achievements
Here’s a handy tip: you still unlock achievements even if you jump into a random lobby midway through a match. Definitely use that to your advantage if you want to save time.
To grab this one, you need to clear all five maps on their default difficulties. You’ll know you finished a map because a “CLEAR” stamp will show up in the top right corner.
Once you wrap up your final map, head back to the lobby. The shopkeeper will start talking to you, and the achievement pops right after her dialogue wraps up.

Just finish any stage for the first time on Hardcore mode. The achievement triggers as soon as the mission wraps up, and you’ll spot the “CLEAR” label marked on the UI next time you open it.
