Red Chat Ritual – TSUMIMI TIME is a psychological mystery visual novel where you balance daily job shifts with dark occult investigations to solve bizarre cases. The branching narrative hinges on small daily choices and investigative deduction tests that decide who survives each chapter. Hunting down every red chat ritual tsumimi time endings path can get confusing due to hidden background stats.
While early investigations let you stumble through basic deduction scenes, getting stuck on Chapter 2 is common even when you pick what seems like the obvious right deduction. If your current choices softlock a route, starting a fresh save file resets these obscured stat flags and gets you back on track for the final scenes.
This walkthrough covers the exact routes for reaching Endings 1, 2, 4, 6, 7, 8, and the hidden 404 outcome across all three chapters. Keep in mind that missing certain unseen flags early on can lock you out of later branches, so keeping clean backups before major decisions is advised.
Red Chat Ritual TSUMIMI Time Walkthrough – Endings Guide
This isn’t a complete guide, and plenty of the mechanics are still unclear. I’ve kept spoilers light, but you can’t really avoid them in an ending guide.
I suspect there may be a hidden stat that can fail you even when you deduce the right answer. While replaying chapter 2 for this guide, I got stuck using a solution I knew was correct; starting a new save seemed to fix it.
If these solutions don’t work for you, an earlier choice might have left some hidden requirement unmet. That’s only a guess, though—I couldn’t pin down the cause.
Chapter 1
Before you get started with the first chapter, here are a few general gameplay pointers.
– When you need money, work a full day instead of investigating in the morning and working in the afternoon. A full shift pays a bonus compared with two half shifts, so you’re better off alternating full investigation days and full workdays.
– If there’s no skip button when you’re playing, I’d use an auto clicker. The 2x auto speed is painfully slow, and an auto clicker gets you through dialogue much faster—not something I’d usually recommend for a visual novel, but it helps here.
– Always save before a deduction sequence. You’ll know one is coming when the time says late night and you get to investigate one piece of information.
Without that save, a wrong answer means replaying the entire stream to get another shot. Trust me, save yourself the trouble.
– Most shop items don’t seem especially useful. There’s one important item per chapter, but I’m not sure what the others actually do.
If you’ve got cash to spare, feel free to buy them. They might affect a hidden stat, though that’s just speculation.
– You can safely skip investigations that don’t give you any investigation files and spend that time earning money instead. Some investigations with seemingly useless files are also safe to skip, but I’m less confident about those—I still don’t know why the correct answer failed me in chapter 2.
Day 1:
Work the full day to earn money.
Stream 1:
Nothing relevant to the ending route today. This is basically your tutorial.
Day 2:
Work the full day to earn money.
Stream 2:
1. I’m so glad she’s alive OR don’t send a mega chat.
1.5. For ending 6, profess that your love has reached instead.
2. Don’t send a mega chat; this dialogue doesn’t matter.
Night 2:
Buy the potato gun. It’s this chapter’s important shop item, and you’ll need it for endings 1&2.
Day 3:
Back to work today. You’ve got a streamer to support.
Stream 3:
1. Let me smell your feet—or don’t. None of these three dialogue choices seem to matter, and I’m pretty sure you can skip them.
2. Don’t send a mega chat. Any option should work here.
Day 4:
No investigating yet—you’re still on dish duty. Spend today working again.
Stream 4:
1. Let me help! Where exactly are you? This unlocks the first investigation node you’ll actually use.
2. Don’t send a mega chat.
Day 5:
You might be ready to investigate, but work again today. There’s only one worthwhile node available, so waiting until you can investigate two in one day makes better use of your time.
Stream 5:
1. They make tunnels shaped like that? Choosing “Wouldn’t the building have burned down too” also lets you clear the chapter, but it MAY lock you out of endings 1&2. I haven’t tested that possibility, so I’d stick with the tunnel question.
Day 5:
Now it’s actually time to investigate. Investigate the 3 hour trip, and the hexagonal abandoned tunnel.
Stream 5:
1. That newspaper, when’s it from? This is why you bought the potato gun earlier: without it, this dialogue won’t unlock the investigation node.
2. Go to the storeroom OR don’t send a megachat. None of the options matter here, but I’d pick the storeroom for the most interesting interaction of the three.
Night 6:
One last investigation for chapter 1: Investigate Today’s Salsei Daily Report.
If you’ve followed along, you’ve got everything you need to solve this chapter. If you’d rather skip the deduction, here’s the answer.

Chapter 2
Day 7:
If you’ve followed the guide, all that work should have left you with enough money to buy this chapter’s important item outright. Grab the stun gun, then get back to work.
Stream 7:
1. Don’t send a mega chat; this dialogue doesn’t matter.
2. Don’t send a mega chat; this dialogue doesn’t matter either.
Day 8:
Make a save here. This chapter can be frustrating: even the correct solution sometimes seems to fail. Keep this save as your checkpoint in case you need a few attempts to get past Chapter 2.
The actions below worked for me, but I’ve also had several runs end in a game over after entering the correct answer. You might be here a while, so I’d definitely keep that save handy.
Grab a mop and get to work. For now, you’re putting in another shift rather than chasing leads.
Stream 8:
Check the floor.
Day 9:
Time to put your detective hat back on—we finally get a break from work. Investigate “Obtain your ideal something” church and Creepy mannequin.
Stream 9:
1. Show just her face. Asking to show the body gets you a bad ending. That woman’s scream does make you wonder, though.
Day 10:
You’ve got two investigations today: Is mashiro alive? & Pretty type face. If you chose the hand option instead, investigate that in place of Pretty type face.
Stream 10:
1. Just hide.
1.5. To get Ending 7, call the police.
2. Investigate it. This is an important investigation node.
Day 11:
Investigate Proof of joy, then work part time. You can’t avoid the shift today, since the available investigations don’t fill out your actions evenly.
Stream 11:
1. Play it again. This gives you the most interesting information, though I’m not sure it’s required; otherwise, you can skip this dialogue.
2. Under the shelf. You need this investigation node.
Night 11:
Investigate the earrings.
By this point, you should have everything you need, and the solution below should work. I’d love to say you’re safely through, but I’ve had this exact solution fail here without an obvious reason.
I suspect there are hidden stats involved, though I don’t know how to raise them. If it fails, go back to your checkpoint and try again. This chapter can be a real headache.
Ending 8:
If the Chapter 2 deduction fails, you’ll get this ending. If the solution works on your first attempt, reload your save and enter random answers in this section to get Ending 8 instead.

Chapter 3
You’re in the final stretch, and this is why you spent so much of the first two chapters working. Almost all your actions each day will go toward investigations, so hopefully you’ve built up a healthy amount of savings.
Day 12:
Buy the sound proofing sheets, the last required item for this ending. Then head to work for your final shift.
Stream 12:
Learn its history. This is a key investigation node.
Read more of the books. This is another key investigation node.
Show us more of the contents. Don’t mention that it looks like her handwriting—that choice gets you a bad ending.
Day 13:
Investigate the mass manifestation ritual, and the offering ceremony.
Stream 13:
1. Paint eyes all over yourself too. It’s a fun interaction, but you can choose any option here or skip it entirely.
2. Play it again Play it again Play it again Play it again Play it again. This is the key to cracking the case. It’s also my biggest frustration with this section: outside of trial and error, there’s no indication that it matters so much more than the other two options.
Day 14:
Investigate the video’s reflection & rebirthvillage in the map.
Stream 14:
I knew from the start. I’m not sure whether these dialogue choices matter, but this is the one I picked.
Show us what’s on the shelf. Here’s where buying the soundproofing sheets at the start of the chapter pays off.
Day 15:
Investigate Reina Oshima, then work part time. You’ll earn one last bit of money before it happens.
Stream 15:
About the Mannequins. As far as I understand, you can pick any option, but I found this the most interesting of the three.
Final Night:
Investigate the Parts election. You’re nearly there—this is the last stretch.
This is your final deduction: one last puzzle before you confront the culprit. If you’ve followed the guide, you have everything you need to solve the mystery.
If you’d like to piece it together yourself, now’s your chance. Otherwise, the answer is below.

Ending 404 And Ending 4:
For Ending 4, replace “fanatical mother” with “fanatical father” in the final deduction. For Ending 404, enter a bunch of random options—that’s the ending you get for guessing wrong.
The rest is up to you. One final choice determines whether you get Ending 1 or Ending 2, so it’s time to solve the mystery and show your character’s true colors.
Final Thoughts
It’s frustrating, because this game has a really interesting concept and gameplay loop, but some big developer oversights drag the whole experience down. You don’t get basic quality-of-life features like a skip button, or any indication of which answers went wrong when you reach a bad ending.
My bigger gripe is that there’s no way to tell which answers actually move the story forward and which ones don’t matter at all. That makes figuring out where you went wrong much harder than it needs to be.
I’d love to see some quality-of-life improvements, because working through these endings can be a pain. Hopefully, this guide makes your run a little less frustrating.
As for endings 5 and 3, I still don’t know how to get either of them. I’m experimenting with ending 5, wondering if denying Tsumimi any funding might lead there, but that’s only a guess.
Ending 3 seems to be the true ending, and I genuinely don’t have any leads on that one.
Spoilers ahead.
How does Tsumimi pull this off without a license? You’re telling me she brought a quadruple amputee with no teeth onto a bus without raising suspicion, then carried her on foot for about 3 hours?
When you need to build up cash between deduction sequences, always commit to full day shifts at work instead of splitting your hours between jobs and investigations. You earn a much better cash bonus for a solid day’s work, which leaves you plenty of uninterrupted time to investigate on the following day.
