If you’re aiming to fully complete this game, this is one of those runs where missing even one small thing can send you back for hours. The good news is nothing is permanently missable… but the bad news is you must finish everything before the final boss if you want the 100% achievement to trigger cleanly.
If you’re playing A Planet Full of Cats, it’s easy to get stuck—not because the game is hard, but because it doesn’t always tell you clearly what to do next.
A Planet Full of Cats Walkthrough Wiki & Achievement Guide
This walkthrough is designed to guide you step by step through the main progression path, so you always know where to go next without getting lost or overthinking things.
Start
You begin on Gattaca and immediately enter the building on your left. Lily introduces you to the core gameplay loop, which is simply finding all the cats in each room.
Once you clear the first two rooms and talk to Lily again, you move forward and meet Plume. He gives you your first essential tools, bombs and the laser. These are required for opening hidden walls and progressing through puzzles.
Nearby, you’ll notice a suspicious wall tile. Use a bomb to break it and enter a hidden room. Inside, solve a simple memory puzzle with the orb. Completing it unlocks your first ability, Healing.
After that, return and solve the elevator puzzle to unlock further areas.
Interlude
You’ll meet Lino, who mentions losing his badge. Ignore that for now.
Head left into the bathroom area and use a bomb on another hidden wall tile. This unlocks Cat Ears, which improves your ability to detect hidden objects.
Return and use the elevator to go deeper.
Catnipia
You’ll receive a call about a water problem, but ignore it temporarily.
Go left into Catnipia. Use your Healing ability to help the cats while exploring.
In the tower room, you’ll find Lino’s badge and unlock another ability called Power Paw, which allows you to break certain obstacles.
After exploring, return to the elevator area where the first boss appears. Defeat it to earn your first blue crystal.
Pawrion
Now it’s time to deal with the water issue.
Go downward from the elevator and unlock Fur Armor, which protects you in cold environments.
Move right and start equipping coats onto cats. This is important for progression.
You’ll encounter a frozen hatch. Use Power Paw to break the ice, then solve the pipe puzzles in multiple rooms. Once completed, activate the valve to restore water.
Furzon – Ice Area and Crash Event
Continue into the icy region and help more cats by giving them coats.
You’ll notice a locked door you can’t access yet, so don’t worry about it.
After completing this area, you’ll get a call about a crashed ship. Before going there, visit Vivi briefly to unlock future quests.
Then return to the surface and investigate the crash. Find all cats here and collect an important access badge.
Hisstar & Subway – Toxic Zone and Second Crystal
With your new access card and Toxic Suit, return to the previously locked area.
Rescue cats while using X-Ray Vision to reveal hidden hazards. You’ll also unlock Cat Eyes and find a battery in this section.
Solve the puzzle in the central room to unlock the subway.
Ride the subway, find all cats, and reach the next area. Repair cables and solve a terminal puzzle to progress.
On your way back, you’ll face another boss fight. Winning gives you the second blue crystal.
Growlarian – Poison and Third Crystal
Return to the starting area and use the battery on the vehicle to reach Growlarian.
Inside, unlock the lab and collect four bottles. Solve the color puzzle to create poison. Make sure you actually pick it up afterward.
Return to Hisstar, use the poison to access the next boss fight, and defeat it to obtain the third blue crystal.
Nofur – Final Upgrade and Endgame Setup
With three crystals, return to Catnipia and unlock the final path.
In this section, you’ll gain Teleport, which makes movement much easier.
Inside the temple, pick up the raw crystal and give it to Plume. He rewards you with the fourth blue crystal.
Now you can activate the ancient elevator and proceed toward the final area.
A Planet Full of Cats 100% Achievement Guide
Before triggering the final boss, make sure:
- All cats are found

- All quests are completed
If you don’t, you’ll need to replay the final sequence again to register 100%.
All Upgrades
Upgrades are what unlock progression, so don’t skip exploring.
Bomb and Laser are obtained early by talking to Plume in the left lab area. These are essential because many puzzles and upgrades require bombs to unlock.
Healing Power is found on the main floor in the elevator room and is tied to early progression.
Cat Ears are in the washroom on the lower level, and Toxic Suit is located in the infirmary area.
Power Paw is found in Catnipia inside the tall plant room and is needed for breaking obstacles later.

Vivi’s questline is longer. First you collect fruit, then meat and shrimp, which unlocks Puru and allows full completion of Meownyan.
