One of the biggest questions new players ask in Anime Duelists is, “Which Game Pass should I buy first?” Since Gems are limited—especially if you’re free-to-play or only spend occasionally—you don’t want to waste them on upgrades that barely improve your progression.
After looking at how each Game Pass affects gameplay, it’s clear that some provide massive value from day one, while others are more of a luxury purchase once you’ve already progressed through most of the game.
This tier list ranks every Game Pass based on its overall value, usefulness, and long-term impact, while also covering whether the game’s bundles are actually worth buying.
Anime Duelists Tier List – Best Game Passes, Units
| Tier | Game Pass |
|---|---|
| S Tier (Highest Priority) | Multi Open, Extra Equip, Fast Open |
| A Tier (Essential) | 2x Money, 1.5x Experience, Shiny Chance |
| B Tier (Good) | Luck, Super Luck, VIP |
| C Tier (Situational) | Ultra Luck |
| D Tier (Lowest Priority) | Storage |
S Tier – Buy These First
These Game Passes have the biggest impact on your progression and should be your first purchases if possible.
Multi Open
If I could only recommend one Game Pass, this would probably be it.
Summoning is one of the core mechanics in Anime Duelists, and Multi Open lets you hatch multiple units at once, dramatically speeding up your grind for Mythical and Secret units.
Since you’ll spend countless hours summoning throughout the game, this upgrade pays for itself almost immediately.
Pros
- Faster summons
- Better farming efficiency
- Easier to obtain rare units
- Useful from early game to endgame
Verdict: The best Game Pass in Anime Duelists.
Extra Equip
Extra Equip allows you to deploy additional units on your team.
More equipped units means:
- Higher damage
- Faster farming
- Better boss clearing
- Easier progression through new worlds
Even though it doesn’t help with summoning directly, the extra combat power is noticeable everywhere.
If you’re deciding between this and Multi Open, I’d still pick Multi Open first, but Extra Equip comes in a very close second.
Fast Open
Fast Open increases your summoning speed, letting you go through eggs much faster.
This pairs perfectly with Multi Open.
Using both together makes farming significantly more efficient, especially during long AFK sessions.
If you spend a lot of time hatching units, you’ll appreciate this upgrade every single day.
A Tier – Excellent Long-Term Value
These Game Passes aren’t quite as game-changing as the S Tier options, but they’re still excellent investments.
2x Money
Money (or Yen) becomes increasingly important as you progress through the game.
A permanent currency boost helps with:
- Upgrading characters
- Purchasing items
- General progression
It’s especially valuable if you leave your character farming overnight.
1.5x Experience
Early progression can feel a little slow, especially while leveling new units.
The Experience Game Pass speeds that process up considerably, allowing your strongest characters to reach higher levels much faster.
The newer the game is, the more valuable this pass tends to be.
Shiny Chance
Increasing your chances of obtaining Shiny units is a nice long-term investment.
Shiny characters are naturally more desirable, so even a small increase in your odds becomes valuable over hundreds or thousands of summons.
While it isn’t quite as essential as Multi Open, it’s definitely one of the better upgrades available.
B Tier – Good, But Not Essential
These Game Passes are useful but shouldn’t be your highest priority.
Luck
Luck increases your chances of pulling better units.
The boost is helpful, but you’ll notice a much bigger improvement from purchasing Multi Open first and simply doing more summons overall.
Once you already own the major progression Game Passes, Luck becomes a worthwhile pickup.
Super Luck
Super Luck works similarly to the standard Luck Game Pass but offers an even stronger bonus.
Like the regular version, it’s most valuable after you’ve already invested in the more impactful progression upgrades.
Think of it as a luxury upgrade rather than a necessity.
VIP
VIP offers a few useful bonuses, including discounts on Stars and an exclusive VIP title.
The discounts are nice over time, but they don’t dramatically change your gameplay compared to something like Multi Open or Extra Equip.
It’s a solid purchase, just not an urgent one.
C Tier – Situational
Ultra Luck
At first glance, Ultra Luck sounds like one of the strongest Game Passes in the game.
However, when comparing the cost, buying both the standard Luck and Super Luck Game Passes often provides better overall value than purchasing Ultra Luck by itself.
Because of that, Ultra Luck isn’t the most efficient use of your Gems.
D Tier – Lowest Priority
Storage
Storage simply increases your unit capacity.
While having more inventory space is convenient, it doesn’t actually make your character stronger or improve progression speed.
You’ll also gain additional storage naturally through achievements and other progression systems.
Unless you’re constantly running out of space, this can safely wait until much later.
Are the Bundles Worth Buying?
Besides Game Passes, Anime Duelists also offers several bundles.
Some are decent purchases, while others are easy to skip.
Starter Pack
The Starter Pack isn’t terrible, but it’s purchased with Robux instead of Gems.
If you already have spare Robux, it’s a reasonable early purchase.
Otherwise, your resources are generally better spent on permanent Game Passes first.
Verdict: Optional.
Accessory Bundle
Among the available bundles, this is probably the most worthwhile.
One of the standout rewards is a high-rank accessory that provides solid value early on.
The remaining items aren’t quite as exciting, but they’re still useful enough to make this bundle worth considering after you’ve bought your essential Game Passes.
Verdict: Worth buying later.
Potion Bundles
Potion Bundles look tempting, but they’re usually not the best investment.
Potions provide temporary benefits, while Game Passes permanently improve your account.
Unless you already own nearly every important Game Pass, it’s generally better to skip Potion Bundles and save your Gems.
Verdict: Not recommended for most players.
Recommended Purchase Order
If you’re wondering what to buy first, this order offers the best overall progression.
- Multi Open
- Extra Equip
- Fast Open
- 2x Money
- 1.5x Experience
- Shiny Chance
- Luck
- Super Luck
- VIP
- Accessory Bundle
- Ultra Luck
- Storage
- Potion Bundles
This order gives you the biggest gameplay improvements early while leaving the more situational upgrades until later.
Anime Duelists has a surprisingly good selection of permanent upgrades, but not every Game Pass offers the same value. If you’re trying to get the most out of your Gems, focus on upgrades that improve your long-term progression instead of temporary conveniences.
For most players, Multi Open, Extra Equip, and Fast Open are the clear standouts. These three upgrades make summoning faster, strengthen your team, and help you progress through new worlds much more efficiently. Once you have those, adding economy and experience boosts will make the rest of your journey even smoother.
If you’re playing free-to-play or spending Gems carefully, prioritizing permanent progression upgrades over bundles and consumables will almost always give you the best return in the long run.
