BRING BACK THE SUN Lava Temple Walkthrough – Puzzle
As soon as the level begins, pick up the Rock nearby.
Use it to smash the glass panel.
Behind the broken glass you’ll discover several strange symbols. At first they don’t seem very useful, but don’t leave just yet—you’ll need some of them for the first code.
Read the Symbol Book
Walk over to the nearby book and read the clue carefully.
One of the pages explains:
Yellow means follow.
Instead of looking at every symbol, only follow the yellow path.
Doing this highlights five important symbols in order:
- Circle
- Triangle
- Rectangle
- Triangle
- Cross
These are the only symbols you’ll need for the first puzzle.
Activate the Lever
Pull the nearby lever.
This reveals the numerical values assigned to several symbols:
- π (Pi) = 2
- Δ (Delta) = 9
- 0 (Zero) = 1
- T6 = 8
Now return to the book because it explains how each puzzle symbol relates to these values.
Solve the Symbol Math Puzzle
The book gives each shape a mathematical meaning.
Using the values from the lever:
Circle
Circle = Pi

Since Triangle appears twice, both values are 11.

Solve the Missing Flame Colors
The next chamber contains several colored glass patterns and four adjustable flames.
The trick here isn’t guessing colors—it’s identifying which color is missing from each pattern.
After comparing the stained glass designs, set the flames to:
- First Flame – Orange
- Second Flame – Purple
- Third Flame – Yellow
- Fourth Flame – Yellow
Once every flame matches the missing color in its pattern, the nearby door opens.
Pick Up the Key
After solving the flame puzzle, collect the Key lying inside the newly opened room.
Use it immediately to unlock the next door.
Find the Pliers
Inside you’ll find a pair of Pliers.
These are needed to cut the rope inside the small locker.
Once the rope is cut, a bridge lowers elsewhere in the temple, allowing you to continue.
Without doing this, there’s no way across.
Complete the Parkour Section
Now comes the only real platforming challenge in the map.
Climb through the obstacle course until you reach the top.
Once you’ve made it across:
- Jump down safely.
- Cross the lowered bridge.
- Press the button on the left side.
This unlocks the next puzzle room.
Recreate the Color Pattern
This room introduces another memory puzzle.
Look carefully at the completed color board nearby.
The colors appear in this order:
- Red
- Blue
- Green
- Yellow
More importantly, pay attention to where each color is positioned.
Now recreate the exact same positions on the blank board.
If the colors are placed correctly, the spider webs covering the statue disappear.
Turn Every Statue Toward the Center
Once the webs are gone, read the nearby poster.
It says:
All statues must face the center.
Walk around the room clicking each statue until every single one is looking toward the middle.
There are statues on both sides of the room, so don’t forget to rotate them all.
As soon as the final statue faces the center, the puzzle is complete.
