If you’ve already defeated Furnox and finished most of the missions in Chop Chop Inc., you might be wondering what else there is to discover. The game has quite a few secrets and optional activities that are easy to miss if you only follow the main objectives.
In this guide, I’ll go through some of the hidden things you can do after finishing the main content. This includes Chester’s missing photographs, the mysterious wishing well, hidden areas, secret blueprints, different death screens, and the rubber ducks you can collect around the world.
I’ll also explain how to unlock each secret and where you should look, so you can use this as a checklist if you’re trying to get as close to 100% completion as possible.
Find Chester’s Missing Photographs
If you remember Chester, you may remember that he asked you to find his three missing photographs.
The important thing here is that this doesn’t activate like a normal mission, so it’s very easy to forget about it after moving on to other objectives.
If you’re trying to uncover everything in Chop Chop Inc., make sure you go back and look for all three of Chester’s missing photographs.
It’s one of those small side activities that the game doesn’t make a huge deal about, which is exactly why I’d recommend checking it off your list before considering the game fully completed.
Unlock the Magical Wishing Well
One of the more interesting secrets is the mysterious wishing well found beyond the portal.
When you first discover it, the well is sealed behind bars. You need to figure out what it wants before you can open it.
How to Unlock the Wishing Well
The objects around the well give you clues about what you need to do.
The solution is surprisingly simple:
Put exactly 666 Coins into the well.
Once you have deposited the required amount, the bars will open and you’ll gain access to a new area containing several secrets.
There are several different secrets hidden inside, and the pillars around the area provide clues about what items you need to sacrifice.
Discover Mount Duckmore
The first secret inside the wishing well is Mount Duckmore.
To unlock it, you need to sacrifice:
1 Duck Carcass
Take the duck carcass to the altar and place it there.
Once you’ve done that, the corresponding secret will be revealed.
Find the Flying Hamsters
Another hidden secret involves the Flying Hamsters.
For this one, you need to sacrifice:
- 1 Hamster
- 1 Balloon
Place both items on the altar to activate the secret.
It’s easy to miss this one if you don’t pay attention to the images carved into the pillars, so I recommend checking those before randomly throwing items into the altar.
Summon the Chicken King
You can summon the Chicken King in two different ways.
The first method is repeatable and requires:
- 10 Raw Chicken
- 100 Coins
Put the required items into the altar and the Chicken King will be summoned.
Alternative Chicken King Method
There’s another way to trigger the Chicken King without using the altar recipe.
You need to pet at least 50 chickens.
So if you’re someone who has been running around interacting with chickens anyway, you may unlock this naturally.
Unlock the Black Chickens
The Black Chickens are another secret connected to the wishing well.
To unlock them, sacrifice:
- 2 Grilled Chicken
- 1 Golden Egg
Place all three items into the altar to trigger the secret.
If you don’t have a Golden Egg available, you can create one using another hidden mechanic.
How to Get Golden Eggs
Don’t worry if you’ve already sold all of your Golden Eggs. You can create another one.
The clue suggests combining two items together, and the required combination is:
- 1 Egg
- 1 Golden Wood
Put those together to create a Golden Egg.
How to Get an Egg
If you need a normal Egg, there’s a slightly unusual way to obtain one.
First, resist the temptation to keep petting the chickens.
Then:
- Stop interacting with the chickens.
- Wait for a while.
- Wander around the Apple Forest.
- Eventually, the required item can appear in your inventory.
So if you’re trying to get an Egg and nothing seems to be happening, don’t keep petting every chicken you see. Give it some time and explore the Apple Forest instead.
Hidden Area #1 – Globe Blueprint
There are several hidden areas around the world, and some contain useful blueprints.
The first hidden area contains the Globe blueprint.
Where to Find It
Look toward the area to the right side of the drone.
You can try to reach it by climbing and jumping across the terrain, although I found that route more difficult than it needs to be.
There is an easier way to reach it by going through Hidden Area #2.
Hidden Area #2 – Candy Dispenser Blueprint
The second hidden area contains the Candy Dispenser blueprint.
Where to Find It
Look underneath the location where the cannon is located.
If you haven’t built the cannon yet, check along the cliffside to the left of the drone platform.
Once you find the area, getting there is fairly simple.
You basically just need to jump down and make your way into the hidden location.
Hidden Area #3 – Developer’s Room
There’s another secret area that looks like it might be a developer-related room.
The clue here is the tunnel.
If you find a tunnel that appears to lead to a dead end, don’t immediately assume there’s nothing there.
The tunnel is worth investigating because it can lead you toward the hidden developer area.
This is one of those secrets where the environment itself gives you the biggest clue.
Hidden Area #4 – Golden Islands
The fourth hidden area takes you toward the Golden Islands.
You may have already noticed the floating islands in the Duck dimension and wondered whether you can actually reach them.
You can.
How to Reach the Golden Islands
Go to the Cult Duck Dimension.
Once you’re there, travel toward the far side of the island and look down over the edge.
You’ll find the route that allows you to reach the floating islands.
This area is also important if you’re trying to obtain the materials needed for some of the wishing well secrets.
Find All 15 Death Screens
One of the more unusual things you can collect in Chop Chop Inc. is the game’s different death screens.
Whenever your character dies, the game displays a unique message describing how you met your unfortunate end.
There are 15 different death screens to discover.
Here is the full list:
- #001 – Great Flight, Rough Landing
- #069 – Sleeping With The Fishes
- #123 – A Chilling End
- #198 – Cause Of Death Unknown
- #256 – Flattened By A Delivery Truck
- #333 – Reverse Duck Hunt
- #398 – Gone Without A Trace
- #404 – Didn’t Taste That Good Afterall…
- #421 – Fluffy But Fatal
- #512 – Abducted By A Drone
- #595 – Chickens Remember… The Pecking Order Has Been Destroyed
- #666 – The Floor Really Is Lava
- #732 – Punching Bag For One Of These Bad Boys
- #921 – Imagine Losing To A Campfire
- #999 – Package Received. Delivered Straight To Your Face
These are completely optional, but if you’re the type of player who likes collecting everything, you’ll want to keep track of which ones you’ve already discovered.
Find the Hidden Rubber Ducks
You’ve probably noticed that rubber ducks can be found hidden throughout the world.
These aren’t just random decorations. You can actually collect them and display them inside your cabin.
How to Display Rubber Ducks
First, find a piece of furniture with shelf space inside your cabin.
A simple bookshelf works particularly well.
Once you’ve placed the furniture, you can add the ducks you’ve discovered as decorations.
You can place up to four ducks on a simple bookshelf.
When you choose to place a decorative object, the game will show you the ducks that are available for placement.
This makes it easy to see which ducks you’ve already found and which ones are still missing.
If you’re aiming for a complete collection, I recommend checking the world carefully for every hidden duck.
