When I first unlocked the Pet system, I honestly treated it like a small bonus rather than something that would noticeably affect my team. After using a few different Pets, it became obvious that they aren’t just cosmetic companions. The right Pet can provide useful stat boosts and unique effects that make your team stronger, especially once you start pushing higher stages and tougher bosses.
That said, Cookie Run: Crumble has only just launched, so the community is still testing every Pet’s abilities and figuring out the strongest combinations. Some Pets are already proving to be excellent all-round choices, while others seem better suited for specific Cookies or playstyles.
This Cookie Run Crumble Pet Tier List is based on each Pet’s current usefulness, overall versatility, and early-game performance. As future updates arrive and more testing is completed, expect some rankings to change.
S+ Tier
These are the Pets you’ll almost always be happy to equip. They offer fantastic overall value and work well with many different teams.

One thing I’ve learned from playing Cookie Run games over the years is that companion systems often seem simple at launch, only to become much more important once harder content starts appearing. Cookie Run: Crumble feels like it’s heading in that same direction. Right now, you don’t need the absolute best Pet to enjoy the game or clear the story, but choosing a strong companion can definitely make your progression smoother.
Since the game is still in its launch phase, I wouldn’t worry too much if your favourite Pet isn’t ranked near the top. As players continue testing abilities, hidden synergies, and endgame content, some of these rankings will almost certainly change. For now, focus on collecting a variety of Pets, upgrading the strongest ones you own, and building a balanced team rather than chasing only one specific companion.
