Picking which Cookies to invest in during your first few days can feel surprisingly overwhelming. Even though the game launched with 71 playable Cookies, resources are limited early on, and leveling every character simply isn’t realistic. I actually like that the game gives you a decent variety of Cookies right away, but it also means you’ll probably end up with a roster full of characters you’re unsure about building.
The good news is that you don’t need every SSR or TSSR to make progress. A balanced team with well-upgraded Cookies will usually outperform a collection of high-rarity units that haven’t been invested in. This Cookie Run Crumble Tier List focuses on each Cookie’s overall usefulness for story progression, wave clearing, bosses, and long-term value rather than just rarity alone.
Cookie Run Crumble Tier List 2026 – Best Cookies for PvP, PvE
Since Cookie Run: Crumble has only just released, expect rankings to shift as players discover stronger team combinations and future updates introduce new Cookies.
S+ Tier
These are the Cookies almost every player hopes to pull. They offer incredible value throughout the game and are worth investing in immediately.
- Wind Archer Cookie
- Oven Wanderer Cookie
- Milky Way Cookie
- Espresso Cookie
- Dark Choco Cookie
These Cookies combine excellent damage, strong survivability, and fantastic scaling. Whether you’re pushing campaign stages or preparing for future endgame content, they remain some of the safest long-term investments.
S Tier
These Cookies are only a small step behind the very best. If you don’t own S+ units, these can comfortably carry your account through most content.
- Vampire Cookie
- Madeleine Cookie
- Twizzly Gummy Cookie
- Cream Soda Cookie
- Melon Soda Cookie
- Strawberry Crepe Cookie
- Scorpion Cookie
- Ion Cookie Robot
Most players will end up building several Cookies from this tier because they perform consistently across different game modes and fit into many team compositions.
A Tier
These Cookies are excellent choices and can easily become part of your main team, especially if you haven’t been lucky with your summons.
- Pomegranate Cookie
- Cream Puff Cookie
- Schwarzwälder
- Cool Mint Cookie
- Toothpaste Cookie
- Rockstar Cookie
- Herb Cookie
- Licorice Cookie
- Rye Cookie
- Witchberry Cookie
Don’t underestimate this tier. Many of these Cookies perform much better than their rarity might suggest once they’re properly upgraded.
B Tier
These are solid performers during the early and mid-game. While they’ll eventually be replaced by stronger options, they can still help you progress without any major issues.
- Lemon Cookie
- Orange Cookie
- Lime Cookie
- Tiger Lily Cookie
- Macaron Cookie
- Pancake Cookie
- Popcorn Cookie
- Dr. Wasabi Cookie
- Dr. Bones Cookie
- Peach Cookie
- Berry Yogurt Cookie
- Space Doughnut
- Cocoa Cookie
- Lilac Cookie
- Grapevine Cookie
- Dark Cherry Cookie
If one of these is carrying your team right now, there’s no reason to stop using them. Just avoid spending every upgrade material on them if you already have stronger alternatives waiting.
C Tier
These Cookies are perfectly usable when you’re starting out, but they usually lose their effectiveness as stronger units become available.
- Cheesecake Cookie
- Alchemist Cookie
- Blackberry Cookie
- Poison Mushroom Cookie
- Cherry Cookie
- Princess Cookie
- Knight Cookie
- Coffee Cookie
- Adventurer Cookie
- Devil Cookie
- Red Pepper Cookie
- Gumball Cookie
- Onion Cookie
- Zombie Cookie
- Cheerleader Cookie
- Angel Cookie
They’re still worth using if they’re among your strongest available options, but I wouldn’t prioritise promoting or heavily investing in them for the long run.
D Tier
These are mainly your starter Cookies. They do their job early on by helping you clear the first few stages, but you’ll naturally replace them as your roster grows.
- GingerBrave
- Strawberry Cookie
- GingerBright
- Wizard Cookie
- Muscle Cookie
- Ninja Cookie
- Skater Cookie
- Blueberry Bird
- Sugar Gnome
- Bear Jelly
Most players won’t keep these in their main team for very long, so try to save your valuable resources for stronger Cookies you’ll unlock later.
Best Damage Dealers
If your goal is clearing enemy waves quickly or melting bosses, these are the strongest offensive Cookies available at launch.
- Wind Archer Cookie
- Oven Wanderer Cookie
- Espresso Cookie
- Milky Way Cookie
- Twizzly Gummy Cookie
Best Frontline Cookies
A strong frontline makes a noticeable difference once enemies begin hitting much harder in later stages.
- Dark Choco Cookie
- Madeleine Cookie
- Schwarzwälder
- Strawberry Crepe Cookie
These Cookies help your damage dealers survive while keeping enemy pressure under control.
Best Wave Clear Cookies
Large enemy swarms become increasingly common as you progress, making area damage extremely valuable.
- Espresso Cookie
- Milky Way Cookie
- Cream Soda Cookie
- Twizzly Gummy Cookie
These Cookies can clear groups of enemies quickly, allowing you to push through stages much faster.
Best Boss Killers
Single-target damage becomes more important once bosses start surviving longer fights.
- Wind Archer Cookie
- Oven Wanderer Cookie
- Vampire Cookie
- Scorpion Cookie
They’re excellent choices whenever your biggest challenge is defeating tough enemies rather than clearing waves.
Best Support Cookies
Every strong team benefits from reliable support, whether it’s healing, buffs, or utility.
- Cream Puff Cookie
- Herb Cookie
- Pomegranate Cookie
They may not top the damage charts, but they often make difficult battles much easier by keeping your team alive or boosting overall performance.
It’s still very early in Cookie Run: Crumble’s life, so don’t stress too much if your favourite Cookie isn’t sitting at the very top of the rankings. Launch metas change quickly as players experiment with different teams, discover hidden synergies, and new updates introduce additional Cookies. I’ve seen plenty of games where characters that looked average during the first week suddenly became top-tier after players figured out the best way to build around them.
For now, I’d recommend focusing your resources on one strong main team instead of trying to level every Cookie you unlock. A well-built squad of five or six invested Cookies will carry you much further than spreading your resources across your entire collection. As the game evolves, this tier list will naturally change, but these rankings should give you a solid foundation for getting off to the best possible start.
