In this post, we will go through some helpful tips for Creator Chronicles, including character stats, town levels, resource gathering, crafting, and leveling up your characters. If you’re still learning how the game’s systems work, understanding these mechanics can make your progress smoother.
One of the first things you should pay attention to is the town level. It affects which resources you can gather, the items you can craft, and how you unlock new progression options. A low town level can prevent you from crafting certain items, even when you have the required materials.
I’ll also explain how to collect meat, herbs, fish, and ore, along with a few things you should know about specialists and their professions. Some resources are random, so choosing the right character for a task can make a difference when you’re short on specific materials.
Finally, we will look at character leveling and dungeon level ranges. You can use created characters to help level up guild members more evenly, while certain town traits and part-time jobs can provide additional ways to strengthen your team.
Creator Chronicle Guide – Character Stats, Town Level, Resources, and Leveling Tips
Understanding Character Stats
When you create a character, you’ll notice that the stat values are displayed using two numbers.
The number on the left represents the character’s stat value at Level 1, while the number in parentheses on the right shows the value gained when leveling up.
The game also displays stats based on the character’s race and class. These values represent the stats gained by leveling up to Level 60.
On the character creation screen, the race and class values are divided by 60 and added to the stats displayed above. Keep this in mind when comparing the initial stats of different characters.
Relationship Between Town Level and Manufacturing
Your town level is one of the most important progression systems in Creator Chronicles. You can find it inside the red box shown in the guide’s image.
It affects several activities, including:
- Obtaining resources by right-clicking.
- Gathering items from buildings.
- Crafting items.
- Unlocking progression-related content.
You can increase your town level by unlocking achievements, guild members, items, and dungeon sections hidden behind question marks.
Why Town Level Matters for Crafting
For example, if your town level is 33, you won’t be able to craft a Blue Cobalt Ingot with an item level of 35 by right-clicking.
The previous Cobalt Ingot has an item level of 30, so it can still be crafted at town level 33.
This means you should pay attention to the item levels when trying to collect or craft materials. If you’ve unlocked all the question mark items but can’t progress because you need a Blue Cobalt Ingot, there’s another option.
You can ask a character with Blacksmithing at Profession Level 35 to craft the ingot for you.
This is a useful workaround when your town level hasn’t reached the required level yet.
How to Gather Resources
Resource gathering is an important part of progression, especially when you’re cooking, crafting, and upgrading your characters. Different materials have different collection methods, so it’s worth understanding how each one works.
How to Obtain Meat
You’ll need a large amount of meat when preparing food. If meat is listed in a dungeon’s drop information, you can obtain it by clearing that dungeon.
However, there’s something important to remember: unlocked resources determine what you can actually obtain.
For example, if a small chicken hasn’t been unlocked yet, you won’t receive small chickens simply by clearing a dungeon, even if the dungeon has relevant drop information.
Instead of immediately spending your available meat on cooking, I recommend focusing on unlocking the next type of meat first. This can make your progression smoother and help you avoid running out of ingredients later.
Using the Fish-to-Meat Town Trait
There is a town trait that allows you to turn fish into meat. Once you acquire this trait, a seek bar will appear below the meat item’s information.
You can set a target quantity, and the cook will automatically produce meat at the windmill.
This town trait is particularly useful when you’re short on meat and need a reliable way to increase your supply. If cooking requires more meat than you can gather from dungeon drops, using fish as an additional source can help.
How to Obtain Herbs
To plant herbs, right-click on a field and sow seeds. The game will randomly select a crop from the available crops within the town’s range.
This method works well during the early game when you haven’t unlocked many herb types. However, as you progress into the mid-game, you’ll likely want to grow specific herbs that you’re running short on.
That’s when having a character with Harvesting as their specialty becomes helpful.
A specialist with Harvesting will sow seeds based on the largest difference between your target quantity and the amount you currently possess. This makes it easier to focus on herbs that you need the most.
There is one limitation: if the specialist’s level is lower than the herb’s item level, they won’t be able to sow those seeds.
I recommend including at least one Harvesting specialist in your party from the beginning. This gives them more opportunities to level up and helps you prepare for higher-level herbs later in the game.
How to Obtain Fish and Ore
The main way to gather fish and ore is by holding down the right mouse button and proceeding at double speed.
The resources collected are completely random within your town level range. You cannot directly select the exact fish or ore you want to gather.
The same principle applies when specialists collect resources. Their results are randomly selected within the character’s level range.
If a particular fish or ore is listed in a dungeon’s drop information, you can obtain it by clearing that dungeon with specialists in your party.
When you need a specific material, check the dungeon drop information and make sure you have the appropriate specialists available.
Leveling Up Your Characters
Character leveling in Creator Chronicles depends partly on dungeon level ranges. Understanding these ranges will help you decide which dungeons to use for leveling your guild members.
Understanding Dungeon Level Ranges
A dungeon may display a level range such as 1–4.
- The number on the left is the minimum level required to enter.
- The number on the right is the highest level at which characters can continue leveling up in that dungeon.
If a character exceeds the upper level limit, they won’t be able to gain further levels there.
The appropriate level range for a dungeon extends up to one level above the displayed maximum. However, be careful when including characters who are above the appropriate level.
If a character in your party is above the recommended level, the leveling probability can drop from 100%.
Using Created Characters to Level Guild Members
Characters you create yourself are very strong, and you can use this advantage to help level up other guild members.
In the first dungeon, you can only level characters up to Level 5 or higher within the dungeon’s leveling range.
One strategy is to include your created characters in multiple parties. This allows you to level up several guild members more evenly rather than focusing on only one party.
If you’re trying to build a balanced roster, spreading your created characters across different parties can help you make use of the leveling system.
Power Leveling with the Secret Technique
If you want to level up your characters more quickly, you can learn the Secret Technique located at the bottom of the town’s characteristics.
This is an option to look into when you want to improve your leveling process and strengthen your characters faster.
Leveling Through Part-Time Jobs
Sometimes, especially around the middle of the game, you may not be able to form a suitable party for leveling. In that situation, part-time jobs can provide another way to gain experience.
There is approximately a 30% chance of leveling a character up to the same level as the town when sending them on part-time jobs. You can send characters on multiple jobs to give them more opportunities to level up.
Even low-level jobs, such as those with a recommended part-time job level of 1, can still increase your character’s level.
However, be careful when selecting jobs based on the character’s current level.
Choosing Suitable Part-Time Jobs
Jobs can fail if the character’s level and the recommended part-time job level are too close together.
For this reason, I recommend trying jobs that are approximately 10 levels apart from the character’s current level.
The success rate may have changed in an update, so you should experiment with different job levels to find what works best for your characters.
If you’re struggling to level up through dungeon parties, part-time jobs can be worth trying while you work on improving your team.
