Menu and Customization

As soon as you enter the game, you will see this menu with 2 options:

Enter – A “quick join” that will put you into a randomly chosen server (probably one where a friend of yours is in)

Select terminal – Allows you to join a server of your choice, along with a search bar to make it easier to find specific servers (note that in the Select terminal section, you can see what servers your friends are in by their avatar being in the server “box”)

Once you press enter or join a server for the first time, a character customization menu will pop up (the character that is creased here can be changed later on via beating a boss)

After putting your soul and heart into making your lil guy the Difficulty option will be your next choice

Hint: Do not think too deeply about which difficulty you would like to play on because you will automatically be put on the “Extreme” difficulty (it’s a not-so-funny joke by the developers)

After everything is done, you will load into the game.

The first thing you want to do is reach a place called “Gideon’s Camp” which will play the role of a hub of sorts for the entirety of your journey. To reach it, you will need to follow the path which has some messages scattered around that tells you some of the game’s mechanics.
