Detective Duck Summer Camp Walkthrough – Puzzle, Codes

If you’ve been enjoying Detective Duck, the new Summer Camp investigation is easily one of the most interesting maps so far. It isn’t just about finding clues—you’ll also solve several puzzles, uncover hidden evidence, unlock new areas, and finally figure out who the real culprit is.

When I first played this map, I thought it would be another quick investigation. Instead, I found myself running back and forth because I had missed a couple of clues, and the game wouldn’t let me finish the investigation. If that happens to you too, don’t worry. This guide walks through the entire Summer Camp case from start to finish, explains every puzzle, and points out the important items that are easy to overlook.

Let’s solve the mystery.

Detective Duck Summer Camp Walkthrough – All Puzzle Solutions, Codes & Correct Suspect

As soon as you spawn into the Summer Camp map, don’t start exploring randomly.

The first two items you need are:

  • Rock
  • Charger Cable

Both are available near the starting area.

The Rock is needed immediately, while the Charger Cable becomes useful inside the nearby building.

Break the Window and Unlock the Phone

Take the Rock and use it to smash the window of the nearby cabin.

Once the glass breaks, climb inside.

You’ll immediately notice a Smartphone sitting inside the room. At first it won’t work because the battery is dead.

Use the Charger Cable on the phone.

After a few moments the phone powers on and displays a colour-based clue that you’ll use to open the nearby keypad.

Phone Keypad Code Solution

The phone gives you numbers associated with different colours.

The correct combination is:

  • Blue = 1
  • Orange = 5
  • Green = 7
  • Pink = 3

This gives you the keypad code:

1573

Enter 1573 into the keypad.

The container unlocks and rewards you with a Key.

Use this key on the locked gate to access the next section of the Summer Camp.

Find the Bow and Craft Arrows

Once you enter the larger camp area, head towards the large haystack.

Climb all the way to the top.

You’ll find the Bow waiting there.

After picking it up, craft a set of Arrows before moving on. You need both items for the next puzzle, so don’t skip this step.

Solve the UV Target Puzzle

Equip your UV Light.

When you shine it on the archery targets, hidden numbers become visible. These numbers tell you the order in which the targets must be hit.

The correct shooting order is:

1 → 2 → 3 → 4 → 5

Shoot every target in that exact sequence.

If nothing happens, don’t panic. It usually means one of the targets was hit out of order. Simply shoot them again correctly.

Once completed, a large rock rises from the ground.

Reveal the Hidden Symbol Pattern

Climb onto the newly raised rock.

Now switch to your Magnifying Glass.

You’ll discover a hidden symbol board showing several symbols placed in specific positions.

This puzzle becomes much easier if you simply take a screenshot or picture of the board. Trust me—trying to memorise the layout usually ends with another trip back here.

Remember the exact locations of every symbol.

Learn the Symbol Colours

Leave the hidden board and read the nearby poster.

The poster explains which colour belongs to each symbol.

The colour combinations are:

Symbol Colour
Duck Green
Log Brown
Arrow Blue
Fire Red

Return to the puzzle panel.

Now recreate the hidden pattern using both the correct positions and the correct colours.

Once everything matches, the puzzle is solved and the nearby room opens.

Search the Backpack

Inside the newly unlocked room you’ll find a backpack.

Search it to receive the Toy Knife.

This search also unlocks additional suspect information.

Something worth mentioning here is that every searchable object contributes to your investigation. If you ignore bags, books, or containers, you’ll end up with missing suspect profiles later and won’t be able to complete the case.

Whenever you see something searchable, interact with it.

Collect Every Investigation Note

Your next objective is collecting investigation notes scattered around the Summer Camp.

Several of them can be found:

  • Near the puzzle area
  • Beside the house
  • On top of a rock
  • Around the reception area
  • Near different camp locations

One thing to keep in mind is your inventory limit.

You can only carry nine items at once.

If your inventory becomes full, return to the reception area and place the notes you’ve already collected before continuing your search.

Place the Notes on the Investigation Board

Back at reception you’ll find the investigation board.

Place every collected note onto it.

Each note reveals more evidence and gradually unlocks new suspect information.

Continue collecting and placing notes until you’ve deposited all of them.

Read the Security Book

Near the investigation area you’ll find a book.

Don’t ignore it.

Reading this book reveals an important clue stating that the Security Van can be opened using a Toy Knife.

Fortunately, you already picked one up earlier.

Open the Security Van

Head over to the Security Van.

Use the Toy Knife to unlock it.

Inside you’ll discover another important note.

Collect it before returning to grab the final remaining investigation notes.

Once every note has been collected, place them all on the investigation board.

Gate Code Solution

After placing every note, interact with the completed investigation board.

Near the bottom you’ll notice another numerical clue.

The correct code is:

844

Use 844 on the nearby locked gate.

This unlocks the hiking trail leading towards the campsite.

Hike to the Campsite

Follow the trail until you eventually reach the campsite.

It takes a little while, but there aren’t any puzzles along the path.

Once you arrive, look for the campfire.

Extinguish the Campfire

Nearby you’ll find a Sand Bucket.

Pick it up and use it on the burning campfire.

After the flames go out, search the ashes.

You’ll obtain the Burnt Note.

Before leaving, make sure you also read the nearby book.

This book is incredibly important because it fills in the remaining suspect profiles.

Without collecting every suspect profile, the game won’t let you finish the investigation properly.

Read the Burnt Note

Now return all the way back to reception.

You’ll find a special reader designed to restore damaged notes.

Insert the Burnt Note.

The restored message reads:

“I was planning to do it in the abandoned house. I don’t care. I’m tired of these fake stories.”

This clue points you towards the final area of the investigation.

Explore the Abandoned House

Head to the newly unlocked Abandoned House.

Open the entrance and walk inside.

Eventually you’ll reach another door that can simply be kicked open.

Opening this room completes the investigation itself.

Now all that’s left is identifying the guilty suspect.

Who Is the Correct Suspect?

After reading every suspect profile, one person stands out much more than everyone else.

Several suspects provide information that actually clears their names rather than making them suspicious.

For example, one suspect alerted the teachers about what happened, making it highly unlikely they were responsible.

The biggest clue comes from another suspect’s statement saying that Liam planned to do something in the abandoned house as revenge.

The restored Burnt Note also directly references the abandoned house.

Another profile mentions that a teacher went looking for Liam and ended up getting injured.

When you connect all of those clues together, they all point towards the same person.

The correct suspect is:

Liam

Vote for Liam during the final accusation to successfully complete the Summer Camp investigation.

A Few Tips Before You Leave

The biggest mistake most players make is rushing through the map and only collecting the required items. Detective Duck actually expects you to investigate properly, which means reading books, searching backpacks, collecting notes, and unlocking every suspect profile.

If something looks interactive, inspect it. Those extra clues might seem optional at first, but they’re what allow you to reach the final accusation screen.

Other than that, the Summer Camp map is a really fun investigation with a nice mix of exploration and puzzles. Once you know the solutions, it’s a fairly quick case to replay, but solving it for the first time is definitely one of the more satisfying Detective Duck mysteries.
