If you are playing the new The Bakery map in Detective Duck and are stuck trying to figure out what to collect or where to go next, this guide has you covered. I will walk you through the entire case from the first piece of evidence all the way to finding the correct suspect.
In this post, we will go through all seven pieces of evidence, every suspect information clue, the bakery key, garage key, storage room, building entrance, Room 4, and the delivery code. I will also explain how the clues connect so you can understand why the final suspect is not the person who initially looks guilty.
I recommend following the steps in order because several items you find earlier are needed later. Once we have everything collected, I will show you how I used the case information to identify Arthur as the real culprit and successfully finish the investigation.
Detective Duck The Bakery Walkthrough Guide – Puzzles, Code
Before we start, there are two main things you need to complete this case:
- 7 pieces of evidence
- 8 suspect information clues
You also need to investigate the clues properly and connect them to the correct suspect.
The first few objectives are fairly straightforward, but some of the important items are hidden behind small puzzles and interactions. So, let’s go through everything step by step.
Collect the First Evidence
As soon as you start the investigation, look around the area for the first piece of evidence.
Evidence 1 — Tire Marks
The first evidence is the tire marks.
Simply interact with them to collect them.
Once you do that, you have your first piece of evidence and can start looking for the next one.
Evidence 2 — Fingerprint on the Door
Next, head over to the nearby door.
Use your magnifying glass on the door and you will discover a fingerprint.
Collect the fingerprint and take it back to the police car to analyze it.
After analyzing it, you will have two pieces of evidence and one piece of suspect information.
Talk to Grandpa
Before moving on, talk to the grandpa.
He gives you a coin along with some useful information about the bakery.
The most important thing he tells you is that the bakery key is hidden inside one of the manuals.
We need that information because the bakery itself is locked, so let’s get the key.
Get the Bakery Key
Look around the area and you will find a phone.
You should also notice a number connected to the delivery service:
12375
We need the coin that Grandpa gave us to use the phone.
Call 12375
Go to the phone and insert the coin.
Then call:
12375
After making the call, a delivery package will arrive.
A delivery worker named Tommy brings the package.
Inside it, you will find a manual.
Open the Manual
Take the manual and interact with it.
Inside, you will find the bakery key.
Pick up the key because we are going to use it immediately.
Enter the Bakery
Now that we have the key, head to the bakery entrance and unlock the door.
Once you’re inside, start looking for another piece of evidence.
Evidence 3 — Vanilla Flour
Inside the bakery, you will find vanilla flour.
Collect it as evidence.
At this point, you should have three pieces of evidence from the earlier investigation plus the newly discovered vanilla flour, bringing you closer to completing the evidence requirement.
Get the Garage Key
Now look for the donut inside the bakery.
Pick it up and take it to the angry customer.
Give the donut to the customer.
In return, the angry customer will give you the garage key.
This key is important because it allows you to access the next area.
Open the Garage
Take the garage key and head toward the garage.
Use the key to open it.
Once inside, you won’t have to do anything too complicated at first. Look for the lockpick.
Pick up the lockpick because we need it for the storage room.
Open the Storage Room
Use the lockpick on the storage room door.
You will need to complete the lockpicking minigame three times.
The first two attempts are relatively simple, while the final one is faster, so pay attention to the timing.
Once you successfully complete all three parts, the storage room will open.
Evidence 4 — Storage Room Evidence
Inside the storage area, you will find another piece of evidence.
Collect it.
At this point, you should have collected all seven required pieces of evidence.
Once all the evidence is collected, you can check the case information to see what happened during the robbery.
However, we’re not finished yet because we still need the remaining suspect information.
Collect the Remaining Suspect Information
Now we need to focus on finding the rest of the suspect clues.
Poster Suspect Information
Look for the poster inside the bakery.
Interact with it to collect another piece of suspect information.
This is one of the easier clues to miss if you’re only focusing on the main objectives, so make sure you check the walls and surrounding objects.
Refrigerator Fingerprint
Next, go to the freezer/refrigerator.
Take out your magnifying glass and inspect it.
You will find another fingerprint.
Collect it and take it back to the police car for analysis.
This gives you another suspect information clue.
Collect the Important Letter
While you’re in this area, make sure you also pick up the letter.
You don’t need to understand everything written on it immediately.
I recommend keeping it because we will use the information later when we’re trying to figure out who actually committed the robbery.
Use the Letter to Find the Keys
Now climb up the ladder.
Yes, you can actually have your little detective duck climb the ladder, and this area contains two important keys.
Building Entrance Key
You will find a building entrance key.
Pick it up.
Room 4 Key
Next, check underneath the pillows.
You will find the Room 4 key hidden there.
Take both keys because we need them for the upstairs area.
Enter the Building
Use the building entrance key to access the next section.
After entering, use the Room 4 key to open Room 4.
Before continuing, check your suspect information progress.
You should be very close to having all of the required suspect clues.
Investigate Room 4
Inside Room 4, you will find another letter.
Read it carefully.
The letter is important because it initially makes the person living in Room 4 look suspicious.
However, don’t immediately assume that this person is the culprit.
There is another clue that changes the entire situation.
Find the Secret Delivery Code
Use your UV light in Room 4.
When you scan the correct area, you will discover a hidden delivery code:
365
Remember this number because we need to enter it downstairs.
Enter Delivery Code 365
Go back downstairs and find the delivery code terminal.
Enter:
365
Once you enter the correct code, you should now have all of the required information.
At this point, you can technically finish the case, but I want to explain how to identify the correct suspect so you don’t simply guess.
Who Is the Real Culprit?
This is where the investigation gets interesting.
At first, the clues seem to point toward the person living in Room 4.
There is a note upstairs that appears to blame them for stealing the vanilla powder.
But when you connect all of the evidence together, that person is actually being framed.
The real culprit is Arthur.
Let’s look at why.
Why Arthur Is the Culprit
The case information tells us that the bakery was robbed early in the morning and that the culprit locked the bakery doors after stealing the vanilla powder.
That means the culprit had access to the bakery keys.
Remember the key we found hidden inside the manual?
That is an important clue.
The culprit had the bakery key, used it to enter the bakery, and then later fled in a van.
Now look at the suspect information for Suspect 7.
This suspect:
- Drives a white van.
- Delivers ingredients.
- Has an employee ID.
- Has a reason to have access to the bakery.
Those details match Arthur.
Arthur Was Framing Room 4
The note found upstairs makes the Room 4 resident look guilty, but the evidence tells us something else.
The delivery information connects the package with the code 365, and that delivery is associated with Arthur.
This strongly suggests that Arthur deliberately left information behind to make investigators suspect the person living in Room 4.
So rather than being the thief, the Room 4 resident is being used as a distraction.
Vote for Arthur
Once you’ve collected all the evidence and suspect information, go to the final investigation screen.
Select:
Arthur
Then submit your vote.
If you’ve followed the clues correctly, Arthur will be revealed as the correct suspect.
The The Bakery case in Detective Duck looks confusing at first because the clues are spread across several areas, and the evidence initially makes the Room 4 resident look guilty.
Once you connect the clues, though, the solution becomes much clearer. The bakery was locked by someone who had access to the keys, the culprit escaped in a van, and Suspect 7’s information matches Arthur, who delivers ingredients and has an employee ID.
The note blaming the Room 4 resident is simply part of the setup to throw you off. After collecting all seven pieces of evidence, finding the suspect information, discovering the hidden 365 delivery code, and connecting everything together, you can confidently vote for Arthur and complete the Bakery investigation.
