Devil Hunter Update 0.0.1 Patch Notes – Codes, RE Release

The latest Devil Hunter update isn’t packed with brand-new content, but it’s one of the most important quality-of-life patches the game has received so far. Instead of adding new weapons or abilities, the developers focused on fixing bugs that have been frustrating players since launch.

From combat improvements and raid fixes to quest progression and Hybrid adjustments, this patch touches almost every major system in the game. On top of that, the developers have also released a brand-new redeem code to make up for recently expired ones.

Here’s everything you need to know about the update.

(RE Release) Devil Hunter Update 0.0.1 Patch Notes – Codes, RE Release

Don’t forget to redeem the newest code before it expires.

New Code

  • SORRYFOREXPIRE

Still Active Codes

If you haven’t claimed them yet, these codes are still available:

  • ROBLOXSAVEDUS
  • DEVILHUNTERRELEASE
  • NODELAY
  • WEBACK
  • DOOM

Since codes can expire without much warning, it’s always a good idea to redeem them as soon as possible.

Combat Improvements

Several combat skills and abilities have been fixed to make fights feel much smoother.

The biggest changes include:

  • Mobile dash in Shift Lock now moves in the correct direction instead of always sending players forward.
  • Kon’s M2 follow-up attack now activates correctly even when the attack isn’t held.
  • Flea’s Z fling bug has been fixed.
  • Flea’s M1 attacks now properly apply stun.
  • Thousand Stab no longer incorrectly flings enemies.
  • Critical hits no longer cancel stun effects.
  • Duplicate Devil accessories appearing during M1 combos have been removed.
  • Fiend Bite can no longer send players into the void.
  • Fiend regeneration during combat has been adjusted for better balance.

These fixes should make combat much more consistent, especially for players who rely on combo-heavy fighting styles.

Raid and Boss Fixes

Raid content also received plenty of attention in this update.

Developers fixed several annoying issues that could interrupt runs, including:

  • CSM Raid enemies no longer spawn outside the playable area.
  • Reze’s Viper Hold can no longer throw players into the void.
  • Reze will no longer randomly disappear during Stage 4.
  • Tank Zombie now spawns correctly.
  • Infinite Worm eating has been fixed.
  • Bosses should no longer become stuck floating in the air after spawning.

If you’ve experienced failed raid runs because of bugs rather than difficulty, these changes should make the experience much more reliable.

Quest and Progression Changes

Several progression blockers have finally been addressed.

The update includes:

  • Division 2 quests now complete instantly without requiring a rejoin.
  • Soul Evaluation now progresses correctly once requirements are met.
  • Mission teleport issues have been fixed.
  • Party members now consistently teleport to mission locations.
  • Division Captain quest loop has been resolved.
  • Yakuza Infiltration rank requirement has been lowered from Rank 4 to Rank 3, which also fixes the Division 1 quest softlock.
  • Intercept mission invincibility bug has been removed.
  • Hybrid Quest Part 3 now properly saves progress for the “Kill Maxed Players” objective.

These fixes should make progressing through the game much less frustrating, especially for newer players.

Hybrid and Devil Changes

Hybrid players also received a few welcome improvements.

Changes include:

  • Hybrid Innate Reroll RNG is no longer partially rigged.
  • Defeating the Bat Devil now unlocks its contract correctly.
  • Activating the Chainsaw Man Hybrid now restores your character to full health.

These updates improve both progression and overall gameplay for Hybrid builds.

Inventory, Shop and User Interface Improvements

Several annoying inventory bugs have finally been fixed.

Highlights include:

  • Picked-up items now always appear correctly in your inventory.
  • Inventory lag spikes while opening loot boxes or equipping skills have been greatly reduced.
  • The Contract interface now includes an Exit button, allowing players to decline contracts if they don’t have an empty slot.
  • Pawn Shop interaction now works properly again.
  • Selling prices across multiple items have been adjusted.
  • Dialogue boxes no longer trigger twice after selecting responses.

The inventory improvements are especially noticeable if you’ve been experiencing delays while managing equipment.

General Bug Fixes

A large collection of general gameplay bugs has also been resolved.

These include:

  • Fixed characters becoming unusable after respawning.
  • Interact prompts now continue working after death or respawn.
  • Multiple map building improvements.
  • Fixed the bug caused by resetting during dialogue.
  • Mobile controls now work correctly on the main menu.
  • Fixed several ragdoll issues.

While these aren’t flashy additions, they’re the kind of fixes that make everyday gameplay feel much smoother.

Update 0.0.1 Additional Fixes

Following the main patch, the developers released another small update addressing several remaining issues.

Additional fixes include:

  • Fixed redeem codes expiring incorrectly.
  • Console players can now access the Soul Realm entry through the Action Menu instead of the old R3 shortcut. You can customize this in your keybind settings.
  • Fixed Aftermath Detail enemies spawning on rooftops.
  • Fixed Chainsaw Man Yakuza NPCs spawning outside the intended area.
  • CSM Raid now properly teleports every party member into the raid.
  • Fixed Pochita not grabbing players correctly during the CSM Raid.
  • Fixed missing textures on the CSM Raid map.
  • Corrected the body pickup animation in Aftermath Detail.
  • Fixed missing environmental stains in the Residential Area, Commercial District, and Outskirts.

Scheduled Shutdown

The developers also announced a scheduled server shutdown at XX:25 to deploy the latest fixes.

If you’re online around that time, expect servers to restart briefly before the update becomes available.

This update may not introduce new gameplay systems, but it addresses a huge number of bugs that affected combat, raids, quests, inventory management, and progression. Players stuck on Division quests, raid issues, or Hybrid progression should notice immediate improvements after updating.

On top of all the fixes, don’t forget to redeem the new SORRYFOREXPIRE code along with the remaining active codes while they’re still available. With so many long-standing issues finally resolved, this patch should make Devil Hunter a much smoother experience for both new and veteran players.
