If you’re planning to complete Dinoblade 100%, the achievement list is actually much friendlier than it first appears. Most achievements unlock naturally by progressing through the story and defeating bosses, while only a handful require exploration or optional objectives.
The only achievements that usually catch players off guard involve finding hidden collectibles, rescuing an NPC, and fully upgrading your abilities. This guide covers every achievement that needs extra attention so you can finish the game with 100% completion in a single playthrough whenever possible.
Dinoblade Achievement Guide (100% Completion)
A large portion of Dinoblade’s achievements unlock simply by progressing through the campaign and defeating major bosses.
These include:
- The Price of Survival
- First Blood
- An Axe-Tinction Event
- The Fallen Tyrant
- Broken Plates
- Drop the Hammer
- Out-Heaved
- The Sky-Eater Falls
- Parry God
- Parrysaur!
- The Pack in the Forest
- Grounded Permanently
- Out-Slashed
- Silencing the Dual Roar
- Chainbreaker
- From Ash to Dust
- The Necromancer
- The Reaper
- Break the Spirit, Claim the Steel
- I Am the Meteor
If you’re clearing each area as you progress, you shouldn’t need to worry about these.
Stainless Extinction – Unlock Every Sword
One of the easiest achievements to miss is Stainless Extinction, which requires collecting every sword in the game.
Most swords are placed directly along the main path, but one hidden sword is tucked away inside Darkclaw’s Forest.
Hidden Sword Location
While exploring Darkclaw’s Forest, you’ll eventually reach a cliff overlooking the area.
The hidden sword is embedded in a rock at the top of this cliff.
Although the path becomes accessible after defeating Ketsuro, reaching the sword still requires a little platforming and careful movement, so don’t leave the area without checking the higher ground.
Once you’ve collected every sword, the achievement unlocks automatically.
The Iron Dino – Find Every Max Heal Ore
To unlock The Iron Dino, you’ll need to collect every Max Heal Ore hidden throughout the world.
There are three in total.
Max Heal Ore #1 – Canyon
Near the end of the Canyon area you’ll encounter a split path.
Take the left route.
Defeat the group of medium-sized dinosaurs guarding the cave.
After clearing them, continue deeper into the opening behind them to find the first Max Heal Ore.
Max Heal Ore #2 – Lake
Travel to the lake located behind Haku’s boss arena.
Facing the arena entrance:
- Climb the hill on the left.
- Stay close to the cliff wall.
- Continue walking until you discover a hidden cave.
The second ore is waiting inside.
Max Heal Ore #3 – Swamp
The final ore is located near the entrance to Akai Tsuki’s arena.
Instead of entering the boss area immediately, explore the left side.
A narrow opening hidden between several trees leads to the final Max Heal Ore.
Collecting all three permanently increases your health and unlocks the achievement.
Tiny Tank – Save the Ankylosaurus
This optional achievement is surprisingly easy once you know where to look.
Head into the Canyon and continue until reaching the large waterfall.
Past this area you’ll encounter:
- Two hostile carnivores
- One friendly Ankylosaurus
Your objective is simple:
- Defeat only the attacking dinosaurs.
- Keep the Ankylosaurus alive.
After the enemies are defeated, wait a few moments and the achievement will unlock.
If the Ankylosaurus Dies
Don’t worry.
Simply rest at the nearby checkpoint by the waterfall to reset the encounter and try again.
Silencing the Earthquakes – Defeat Six Sauropods
Throughout the game you’ll encounter exactly six Sauropods.
They’re large, durable enemies, but their attacks are relatively slow and predictable.
Simply defeat all six during your playthrough.
Even if you rest or reload checkpoints, defeated Sauropods still count toward the achievement.
Feed the Beast
This achievement is slightly different from the other upgrade achievements.
First:
- Fully upgrade Alpha Roar.
Then:
- Use Alpha Roar once.
Many players fully upgrade the skill but forget to activate it afterward, preventing the achievement from unlocking.
Master of the Dash
Completely upgrade the Dash skill.
The achievement unlocks immediately after reaching the maximum level.
Master of the Dance
Fully upgrade every level of the Dance skill.
No additional actions are required.
Master of the Blade
Upgrade the Blade skill to its maximum level.
Like the other mastery achievements, it unlocks automatically after purchasing the final upgrade.
Feeding the Blade
This achievement requires completing Boss Rush Mode.
Before attempting it, it’s worth spending a little extra time finishing any remaining skill upgrades during the main story.
Going into Boss Rush with every ability fully upgraded makes the challenge considerably easier.
Dinoblade has a satisfying achievement list because most unlock naturally as you experience the game’s combat and boss fights. The remaining achievements mostly reward exploration rather than forcing multiple playthroughs or complicated challenges.
As long as you thoroughly explore each biome, collect every sword, gather all Max Heal Ores, rescue the Ankylosaurus, and finish upgrading your skills before entering Boss Rush, you’ll be well on your way to earning every achievement and completing Dinoblade 100%.
