Endless Rails Achievement Guide and Walkthrough 100%

If you are trying to get all the achievements in Endless Rails, you should be able to unlock most of them naturally while playing. The game is a fun roguelike that mixes trains, monsters, drones, and plenty of guns, and thankfully, there isn’t too much achievement grinding involved.

In this guide, I’ll go through all 27 achievements and explain which ones you can get naturally and which ones may require a little more planning. I’ll also share the strategy and train setup I used to survive 20 waves in the Outside.

Overall, you can expect the 100% completion to take around 5–10 hours, although your actual time will depend on RNG and how quickly you get the upgrades you need.

General Strategy for Surviving the Outside

The hardest achievement for me was surviving the 20 waves in the Outside, so this is where I would focus most of your attention.

My most successful setup used the Model T. I focused on Rifle Drones first, followed by Shotgun Drones, while also using turrets that matched the weapons I was building around.

During my first 10–20 runs, I would prioritize modules that increased:

  • Drone Mobility
  • Coin Gain

Drone Mobility is particularly useful early on because it lets your drones move around the map much faster. This makes it easier to collect coins and eliminate enemies without constantly worrying about where your train is positioned.

At the same time, I would work toward getting cars to Level 3 so I could trade them in for global upgrades.

For my first trade-in, I recommend prioritizing a Max Health upgrade. After that, I put most of my trade-ins into:

  • Rifle Crit
  • Rifle Damage

Rifle Crit can eventually reach 100%, which gives you a massive boost to your overall damage.

Early Waves

During the early part of the run, I usually managed to get through the first ten waves with only one or two rifles, or a combination of a rifle and shotgun.

Whenever possible, I grabbed modules that increased Coin Gain and Drone Mobility.

Later in the run, I started replacing those modules with Level 3 Drone modules and AI Brains.

Another useful habit is to lock valuable upgrades in the shop. This allows you to save useful items for later instead of spending all of your coins immediately.

Surviving the Outside

Once I reached the Outside, I started refining my build rather than continuing to sell Level 3 cars.

Getting to Gater around Level 30 wasn’t particularly difficult with this setup. The difficulty increased significantly after around Level 32, though.

At this point, I stopped worrying about collecting every coin on the map. Once you get deep enough into the Outside, survival is more important than extra income.

I would park the train and drones around the center of the screen and repeatedly use the drone’s special ability to increase my damage.

This makes the later waves much more manageable because you aren’t constantly moving around the map trying to collect coins while enemies are overwhelming you.

My Winning Train Setup

This is the exact train setup I used to survive 20 waves in the Outside.

What Makes This Build Work?

The exact modules aren’t necessarily something you have to copy perfectly. The important part is the overall idea behind the build.

I focused heavily on Rifle Drones, while increasing fire rate and base damage. AI Brains were also a major part of the setup because they helped keep the drone damage high.

If your RNG gives you slightly different modules, don’t worry about following the setup exactly. Instead, try to build around the same general priorities:

  • Rifle Drones
  • Rifle Damage
  • Fire Rate
  • AI Brains
  • Drone Damage
  • Max Health

The important thing is to keep your damage scaling as you move into the later Outside waves.

There are probably stronger builds available, especially if you start experimenting with the elemental upgrades. However, I personally preferred the simple approach of putting as much lead downrange as possible.

For getting the Endless Rails 100% achievement completion, I wouldn’t worry too much about creating the perfect build. Most achievements will come naturally, and the main one that really deserves preparation is I’m Still Alive.

For that achievement, focus on building a strong drone and rifle setup early, make smart use of Level 3 car trade-ins, and once you reach the Outside, prioritize survival over collecting every last coin.
