If you are playing Escape Room: The Sealed Castle and are stuck on the Palace Baths map, this walkthrough will take you through every puzzle from beginning to end. I will show you the correct sequences, explain where to find the required items, and give you the codes you need to escape the castle.
Escape Room The Sealed Castle Palace Baths Walkthrough
When you first enter the Palace Baths, look at the statues with water flowing from them.
Your first job is to note the direction of the water coming from each statue. The correct sequence is:
Left → Right → Right → Left → Right → Left → Right → Right
Once you have memorized the sequence, go to the two buttons nearby and press them in exactly the same order.
Enter:
Left, Right, Right, Left, Right, Left, Right, Right
If you enter the sequence correctly, you will receive a stool.
Fill the Stool With Water
Take the stool and bring it over to the fountain.
Use the fountain to fill the stool with water.
Once the stool is full, take it to the sauna area. Just like you would expect in a sauna, you need to pour the water onto the rocks.
Pour the water over the rocks, and this will open the door to the next room.
You can now continue into the second room.
Solve the Three Bucket Puzzle
Inside the next room, you will find three buckets that need to be filled with water.
The goal is to fill all three buckets equally up to the blue line.
To solve this puzzle, press the buttons in this order:
- Press the left button once
- Press the middle button once
- Press the right button twice
Once you do this correctly, all three buckets will contain the same amount of water and reach the blue line.
Get the Rust Remover Oil
Solving the bucket puzzle will reveal a bottle of rust remover oil.
Pick it up and use it on the rusty buttons nearby.
The oil will remove the rust and make the buttons usable again.
You can now use these buttons for the next puzzle.
Solve the Compass Direction Puzzle
Next, look at the poster nearby.
The poster gives you a sequence of compass directions. Follow the arrows and note each direction.
The correct order is:
- South
- Southeast
- Northeast
- West
You now need to rearrange the four buttons so they match this order.
Set them to:
South → Southeast → Northeast → West
If you have entered everything correctly, a key will appear.
Find the Key in the First Room
The key does not remain in the same room where you solved the compass puzzle.
Return to the first room and look around the area where the key appears.
Pick up the key and take it to the door leading to the third room.
Use the key on the door to unlock it.
Solve the Five-Color Bucket Puzzle
In the third room, you will find five colored buttons that need to be arranged according to the number of buckets associated with each color.
The colors are:
- Yellow
- Pink
- Green
- Blue
- Red
You need to inspect the corresponding bucket groups and count how many buckets each color has.
The numbers are:
- Yellow = 4
- Pink = 2
- Green = 5
- Blue = 3
- Red = 5
This gives you the code:
42535
Now rearrange the colored bucket controls according to these numbers.
Set them as follows:
- Yellow → 4
- Pink → 2
- Green → 5
- Blue → 3
- Red → 5
Once the puzzle is correct, the compartment will open.
Inside, you will find a lever.
Pull the Lever
Pick up and pull the lever.
This will reveal a keypad nearby.
Now you need to find the password for the keypad.
The clue is hidden in the towels around the rooms.
Rearrange the Towels
Start by looking at the towels in the current room.
You need to arrange them in increasing order. In other words:
1st → 2nd → 3rd → 4th → 5th
Once those towels are correctly arranged, return to the first room.
There is another set of towels there that also needs to be arranged.
Arrange those towels in the same increasing order:
1st → 2nd → 3rd → 4th → 5th
Now you have two sets of five towels.
Put the information from both sets together and they reveal the secret word:
VAPORS
Enter the VAPORS Password
Return to the keypad that appeared after pulling the lever.
Enter:
VAPORS
Submit the password, and the compartment will open.
Inside, you will find a faucet handle.
Take it with you because you will need it for the next puzzle.
Place the Faucet Handle
Look around at the faucets in the room.
You will notice that all of them have handles except one.
Place the faucet handle you just obtained onto the faucet that is missing its handle.
The faucets are now usable.
However, you still need to turn them on in the correct order.
Find the Faucet Order
The correct faucet sequence is shown on another chart.
The chart gives you five symbols in this order:
Cloud → Rain → Tree → River → Ocean
You now need to figure out which faucet corresponds to each symbol.
The shapes are:
- Cloud = Circle
- Rain = Star
- Tree = Triangle
- River = Cross
- Ocean = Hexagon
This gives you the actual faucet sequence.
Turn the Faucets in the Correct Order
Now activate the faucets using the shapes you identified.
The correct order is:
- Circle
- Star
- Triangle
- Cross
- Hexagon
Turn on the circle faucet first, followed by the star, triangle, cross, and finally the hexagon.
If you have entered the sequence correctly, water will begin filling the large tub.
Once the tub fills, you will receive the final key.
Escape the Palace Baths
Take the final key and use it on the last locked door.
The door will open, allowing you to leave the castle and complete the Palace Baths map.
