If you’re trying to 100% Forbidden Solitaire without getting spoiled on every little thing, this guide should help out. I’m only mentioning what’s needed for the achievements themselves, so nothing story-heavy here outside of the ending names.
Some achievements will happen naturally just by playing, while a few can become annoying if you ignore them too long. The biggest thing to remember is to keep buying stuff from the shop whenever you can because several achievements are tied to it, and the shop becomes unavailable near the end.
Also yes, buy out the shop.
And say purrr thanks mommy for the awesome guide.
Story Achievements
These are completely unmissable and tied to the game’s chapter progression.
Spade Dungeon
Finish the Spade Dungeon.
Heart Dungeon
Finish the Heart Dungeon.
Club Dungeon
Finish the Club Dungeon.
Diamond Dungeon
Finish the Diamond Dungeon.
Ending Achievements
There are two ending achievements, but thankfully the game gives you a save before the final choice. You only need one run for both endings.
Pick one option first, get the achievement, reload the save, then pick the other option.
A High Price
Choose one ending path.
Your Oasis, My Mirage
Choose the other ending path.
Hard to Miss Achievements
These are the ones most players will probably unlock naturally just from progressing through the game and experimenting with builds.
Worth the Pain
Collect every gem in the shop.
Pretty straightforward. Just keep buying gems whenever you can.
The Fool
Unlock every joker.
Most of these come naturally through buying cards from the shop and progressing through the game.
Combo Apprentice
Make your first combo.
You’ll get this almost immediately.
Combo Journeyman
Reach a combo of 10 or higher.
This becomes pretty normal later on once your deck starts working together better.
Combo Master
Reach a combo of 25 or higher.
The easiest way is usually using the synergy gem along with the straight joker and any jokers that manipulate numbers. The final boss fight also gives plenty of chances for massive combos.
Loaded
Fill every available joker slot.
Just keep collecting jokers until every slot is occupied.
Unleashed
Use four normal jokers in a single level.
You get jokers from flipped cards and from your deck, and they carry between fights, so this should happen naturally if you hold onto them.
Sorcery
Remove at least three cards using a single Mana Storm.
As long as there are enough face-up cards when you activate Mana Storm, you’ll probably get this without trying.
Maximum Damage
Deal 20 damage in a single attack.
There’s a joker that doubles your damage, so keep an eye out for that if you’re struggling.
It’s &%$#-ing Solitaire
Overkill an enemy by 10 damage.
Very easy later in the game once combos start getting ridiculous. Weakening an enemy first helps a lot.
Encircled
Complete the Crionite Ring.
Again, this is tied to buying gems from the shop, so don’t skip purchases.
Adventure Awaits
Click the “More Games” button.
That’s it. You can find it on the desktop screen, even after finishing the game.
Unbreakable
Block a hit dealing 6 or more damage.
Saving your x2, x4, or x6 defense cards makes this easy. Some later jokers can also help.
Blasted
Blast 200 cards total.
This tracks all cards destroyed by Mana Storm across your runs.
Exterminate
Destroy 10 maggot cards total.
Mana Storm works great here, but destructive jokers like Fireball also count.
Procession
Remove 6 or more cards at once using Remove Row.
This becomes much easier with the Tri Peaks joker or during the final boss fight.
Full House
Remove 5 or more cards at once with Ice Shards.
Try setting up enough duplicate cards before activating it.
Unleash
Create a mana chain with 8 or more cards.
Using the straight joker to convert cards into a combo is the easiest setup for this.
Sacrifice
Destroy a joker sitting in a joker slot.
Use any destructive joker on one of your equipped jokers.
Deflect!
Deflect a maggot or crystal card.
Use an x2 shield before triggering a maggot or crystal card and it should pop immediately.
Missable Achievements
These are the achievements you really don’t want to leave until the very end. A few mechanics stop appearing during the final stretch, especially bad jokers, so it’s smart to clean these up before the last boss.
Corrupted
Fill every joker slot with bad jokers.
The easiest way is during chaos fights. Just throw away your normal jokers and keep replacing them with bad ones until every slot is filled.
Tempest
Deal 8 damage with a single Mana Storm.
There’s a consumable gem you can buy up to three times that doubles Mana Storm damage. You’ll need four playable and destroyable face-up cards before activating Mana Storm.
Close Call
Finish a stealth level after alerting the enemy five times.
Mana Storm and some destructive jokers can trigger alerts too, so keep that in mind. There’s an early stealth section that works well for this.
Ctrl + V
Clone a bad joker.
Use the cloning joker on any bad joker. Simple as that, but easy to forget if you never experiment with bad jokers.
