While Dragonfire is still in its early stages and the full details of every Command ability are not publicly available, rarity, breed roles, and long-term scaling already give us a good idea of which dragons are safest to build.

These are currently the best dragons to invest resources into. They are all Legendary dragons that offer the highest long-term ceiling and will remain valuable across multiple Reigns.

Hatchery
The Hatchery is where players obtain Dragon Relics.
Dragon Relics are used to unlock new dragons and increase a dragon’s Star Rank. Relics come in three rarities:
- Rare
- Epic
- Legendary
To open Dragon Chests, players need Keys.
There are three types of keys:
- Dragonbone Keys
- Dragonglass Keys
- Dragonfire Keys
These keys can be earned through Chapter Quests, Campaign Stages, Faction Objectives, Events, and limited-time activities.
The Hatchery can be accessed through the Dragon Egg icon located on the tile map.
Dragon Star Rank
Star Rank is one of the most important progression systems in Dragonfire.
Every increase in Star Rank permanently strengthens a dragon and remains active across future campaigns.

Dragon Commands
Every dragon possesses a unique Command ability.

Each dragon’s Command is unique and often defines its role on the battlefield.

As a dragon’s Star Rank increases, its overall Command power also improves.
Dragon Habits
