If you’re trying to get 100% achievements in House 2, you have quite a lot to keep track of. Some achievements are easy to understand, while others require specific actions, different endings, hidden collectibles, or even dying in very specific ways.
In this guide, I’ll go through the House 2 achievements and how to unlock them, including the Pure and Corruption routes, all major endings, phone numbers, miscellaneous achievements, death types, and collectibles. I’ll also explain some of the trickier requirements so you don’t have to figure everything out through trial and error.
One quick warning before we start: House 2 is much more fun if you experience it blind first. This guide contains a lot of spoilers, including character deaths, endings, secrets, and hidden areas. If you haven’t finished the game yet, I recommend coming back here after your first playthrough.
House 2 Walkthrough Guide – 100% Achievements, Endings
A few achievements can be completed without committing to either the Pure or Corruption route. These are good ones to pick up early or naturally while playing.
Gamer
To unlock Gamer, you need to beat Kimiko’s Curse 2.
You don’t have to complete this during your first visit. The challenge can be completed during either the prologue or epilogue, so you can come back to it later.
Animal Husbandry
For Animal Husbandry, you need to feed the dog.
There are two easy ways to get food for the dog:
- Bake the pie in the kitchen.
- Call 888-8888 to order pizza.
Once you have the food, take it to the dog’s food dish in the basement.
Straight From a Horse’s Mouth
The Straight From a Horse’s Mouth achievement requires you to meet Majesty.
To find Majesty, pop the clown balloon inside the wardrobe and then make your way toward the attic.
You may need to die to Majesty for the achievement to trigger, so don’t worry if simply finding her doesn’t immediately unlock it.
Survivor
For Survivor, you need to kill your father.
The important part is that you should neither save nor kill your family before the final fight. Simply survive until midnight and defeat Daddy.
You can use the knife and other available combat options to win the fight, depending on how you’re approaching the achievement.
House 2 Pure Tendency Achievements
House 2 has a tendency system that changes depending on your actions.
If you repeatedly save characters, your house gradually moves toward Pure Tendency. This route is connected to several achievements and eventually changes the environment around you.
Pure
The Pure achievement requires you to bring light into the house.
Keep saving your family and other characters until the tree painting in your bedroom begins bearing fruit.
This is a good indication that you’ve progressed far enough toward the Pure state.
You Rang?
For You Rang?, you need to find the Spirit Bell.
You can reach maximum Purity or Corruption by repeatedly saving or killing characters. Once you’ve reached the required state, you can obtain the bell from one of the strange figures associated with the two routes.
On the Pure route, the bell can be obtained from the ghoulish figure in the basement.
Interestingly, the bell can also be obtained through the Corruption route by dealing with the Mud Man outside. Place the anvil underneath him and use lightning to strike him.
Savior
The Savior achievement requires you to save everyone.
The characters you need to save are:
- Melody
- Lois
- Cat
- Rat
- Dog
- Horse
Each character has their own method, so simply keeping them alive isn’t enough.
How to Save Melody
There are several tasks you need to complete for Melody.
Start by:
- Cleaning the cat pee at the top of the stairs.
- Washing the dishes.
- Flushing the toilet monster.
Completing these actions allows you to progress Melody’s rescue.
How to Save Lois
For Lois, you need to get the anvil from the basement.
Take it upstairs and use it to break the hatch in the attic. Afterward, use the baseball to hit the chandelier.
These actions are part of the sequence required to save Lois.
How to Save the Cat
First, deal with the dog by either feeding or killing it.
Then trigger the bear trap.
One easy method is to stand near the entrance and throw the baseball so that it hits the trap.
How to Save the Rat
The rat requires a slightly more complicated sequence.
First trigger the mousetrap upstairs.
Then knock down the spider in the closet.
After that, knock down the knife before the rat runs underneath it. You can use the anvil or cause the character to trip in the water to complete this part of the sequence.
How to Save the Dog
Saving the dog is simple.
Give it food by either:
- Baking the pie.
- Calling 888-8888 and ordering pizza.
Place the food in the dog’s dish.
How to Save the Horse
The horse follows a similar approach to the dog.
Feed it the required food rather than killing it.
Once you’ve successfully saved Melody, Lois, the cat, rat, dog, and horse, you can unlock Savior.
Guardian
The Guardian achievement is another Pure route achievement.
You need to save your family, specifically:
- Melody
- Lois
- Cat
If you’re already working toward Savior, you’ll naturally complete Guardian at the same time.
Feeder
For Feeder, you need to take the rat on a culinary journey.
First save the rat using the required sequence. Afterward, find the rat in the clown room.
This achievement can be worked on alongside the Savior route.
House 2 Corruption Achievements
The opposite of the Pure route is Corruption.
Instead of saving characters, repeatedly kill them until the house becomes corrupted.
You’ll know you’ve reached the required state when the tree in your bedroom becomes pitch black and dead.
Corrupt
For Corrupt, bring darkness into the house.
Continue killing the required characters until the tree in your bedroom turns completely black and dies.
This unlocks the Corrupt state and opens up several other achievements and events.
Who Is She?
The Who Is She? achievement requires you to befriend Marnie the Snail.
Once the house reaches a corrupted state, a new snail appears in the backyard.
Pick up Marnie repeatedly. After you’ve interacted with her enough times, she will eventually move into your room.
Nihilist
For Nihilist, you need to let go.
Once the house is corrupted, an apple appears in the bathroom.
Eat the apple to be transported to a new area and begin the Nihilist route.
This route opens up the Mud area and several additional secrets.
Butcher
For Butcher, you need to kill everyone.
The required characters include:
- Melody
- Lois
- Cat
- Dog
- Horse
- Rat
- Snail
- Doll
- Pizza delivery guy
You don’t necessarily have to follow one exact order, but using an efficient route can save a lot of time.
Recommended Kill Order
A convenient order is:
Snail: Use the baseball to kill it quickly.
Cat: Hit the hanging plant in the hallway while the cat walks underneath it.
Dog: Call the pizza guy while you’re on the way. At around 7:00, use the anvil to crush the dog.
Rat: Take the anvil into the kitchen. Drop it once to obtain the knife and wake the rat, then use it to crush the rat.
Lois: Stab her.
Melody: Stab her.
Pizza Guy: Stab him when he arrives.
Doll: Find the doll in the clown room upstairs before around 8 or 9 PM, then stab it.
Horse: Take the anvil upstairs and use it to smash the hatch. Get the gun and shoot the horse.
Alternatively, you can feed the horse pizza and then kill it with the knife.
Killer
The Killer achievement requires you to murder your family.
Kill:
- Melody
- Lois
- Cat
If you’re already completing the Butcher route, this achievement should unlock along the way.
Other Ending and Challenge Achievements
Some achievements require you to complete specific endings or unlock additional areas first.
Babysitter
For Babysitter, you need to save Suzie.
After you’ve completed an ending, return to the living room after around 8 or 9 PM.
The TV should show a clown beckoning you closer.
Approach the TV to begin the encounter and continue through the sequence to save Suzie.
Heartless
The Heartless achievement requires you to break free.
You first need to complete several major routes, including:
- Save everyone ending
- Kill everyone ending
- Kill Daddy ending
- Save Suzie ending
After completing these, you should be able to interact with the clock by throwing a baseball at it.
This opens up a new area and begins the sequence needed for Heartless.
Independent
For Independent, you need to kill Daddy without any help.
The important part is avoiding outside assistance.
Use only the knife and possibly the gun. Do not use food buffs or traps.
This is essentially a clean combat fight against Daddy.
Miscellaneous Achievements
There are several achievements that are much easier than the main ending routes.
Masochist
For Masochist, you simply need to die 25 times.
You’ll eventually unlock this naturally if you’re exploring the game’s different hazards and endings.
Baker
The Baker achievement requires you to bake pies 10 times.
Take the pie and bake it in the kitchen oven, then repeat the process until you’ve reached the required number.
Customer
For Customer, order pizza 10 times.
The number you need is:
888-8888
You can also use the pizza for other achievements, so this is worth working on while completing the other routes.
Maid
For Maid, clean up 50 messes.
Use the sponge to clean things such as:
- Cat pee
- Water
- Blood
- Dishes
Keep cleaning messes whenever you find them until the counter reaches 50.
Exterminator
For Exterminator, kill 50 bugs.
You can kill roaches, grubs, and mealworms.
Simply step on them whenever you see them. Grubs can appear when the house is corrupted, while mealworms can also be found through later gameplay.
What Was That?
For What Was That?, you need to experience a strange encounter.
After 9 PM, enter the kitchen from the living room.
Occasionally, a strange man will appear at the kitchen window and take pictures of you.
When this happens, the achievement should unlock.
Donut Call Again
To unlock Donut Call Again, call 911 three or four times.
You don’t need to do anything complicated. Just keep calling until the achievement triggers.
Glutton
For Glutton, eat all three available foods.
You need to consume:
- Pie from the kitchen
- Pizza ordered using 888-8888
- Banana from the backyard garbage
Once you’ve eaten all three, the achievement should unlock.
Caller Achievement
The Caller achievement requires you to call every available phone number.
Here are the known numbers and what they are connected to:
| Number | Purpose |
|---|---|
| 911 | Police |
| 411 | Local emergency services |
| 888-8888 | Pizza |
| 777-7777 | Fortune teller |
| 666-6666 | Exorcism service |
| 555-7387 | Horse farm |
| 364-2559 | Neighbor |
| 438-7424 | Number found through the attic suitcase |
| 332-3483 | Found in the game files |
| 867-5309 | Jenny reference |
Make sure you call every number rather than only the ones that have obvious uses.
Scribe
The Scribe achievement requires you to get every journal entry.
You will likely collect many of these naturally while working through the game’s different endings, areas, and achievements.
If you’re missing Scribe after completing most of the game, go back through areas you’ve already visited and look carefully for anything you may have skipped.
Immortal
The Immortal achievement requires you to witness every possible way to die.
This is one of the larger achievements in House 2 because there are many different death animations and hazards.
The known death methods include:
Eaten Alive
Get eaten by the clown that appears through the TV after 9 PM.
Inflated
Get blown up by the second phase of the TV clown after 9 PM.
Chomped
Get eaten by Lois’ floating head after 9 PM while following the required Lois sequence.
Drained
Have your blood drained by Lois and die to the bed monster.
Stabbed
Die to Daddy.
Zapped
Bring the anvil outside and get struck by lightning.
Put on Display
Get impaled by the wandering coat rack after 9 PM.
Chomped 2
Get eaten by the hungry horse in the attic.
Split
Get ripped in half by the wandering shadow after 9 PM.
Squished
Get flattened by the refrigerator after 9 PM.
Flushed
Get grabbed by the toilet monster after around 8 PM.
Throat Removed
Get eaten by the hungry dog in the basement.
Stairs
Run into the cat pee at the top of the stairs.
Crippled
Trigger the bear trap in the basement and get your legs snapped.
Stabbed 2
Get killed by the throwing knife after 9 PM.
Impaled
Get killed by a spike trap after 9 PM.
Crippled 2
During the Nihilist ending, get your legs eaten by the floor mouth.
Popped
After killing Melody, enter her room after 9 PM and die to the high note.
Hung
After killing Melody, encounter the noose after 9 PM and die to it.
Carried Away
Get caught by a sandstorm in the desert.
Drained 2
Have your soul consumed by a mummy in the desert.
Beheaded
Get your head cut off by the swinging axe trap in the desert.
The easiest way to complete Immortal naturally is to deliberately die to hazards you haven’t seen before. Keep track of the different death animations because some require specific characters or endings to be unlocked first.
Consumer Collectibles
The Consumer achievement requires you to find every collectible.
A large number of collectibles can be found inside boxes that you can knock down using the baseball.
Check the top shelves in places such as:
- Closet at the bottom of the stairs
- Second basement room
- Lois’ closet
However, several collectibles require specific actions.
Trash Can Collectible
Keep hitting the trash can in the backyard.
Eventually, it can randomly drop a collectible.
Burger
Trip in the backyard and you may encounter a fat ghost that laughs at you.
Use the Spirit Bell to kill the ghost and obtain the collectible.
Hourglass
The Hourglass can be found in the desert, toward the end of the desert section.
Sun and Moon Totems
The Sun and Moon Totems are connected to the desert’s pressure plates.
There are six Sun buttons on the surface and six Moon buttons underground.
After activating all of the required buttons, the Sun Totem can be found to the north in the Sun Temple, while the Moon Totem is found toward the south near the oasis.
Crystal Ball
For the Crystal Ball, call 777-7777 and completely exhaust the fortune teller’s dialogue.
Keep talking until there is nothing new left to say.
Mud Man
During the Nihilist ending, explore the northeast part of the boss arena.
You’ll find a chest there.
Lure Giga Tabby toward the chest and let her smash it open.
The Network
The Network collectible can randomly drop when you repeatedly stab the suitcase in the attic.
Keep stabbing it until the collectible appears.
Toilet
The Toilet collectible can randomly be obtained by flushing the toilet.
Yes, you may need to flush it repeatedly.
Suzie
The Suzie collectible can be found inside a box on the vanity in Lois’ bedroom.
Chicken
Go to the backyard and interact with the grill to open it.
Take the anvil outside and use lightning to strike the egg.
Frog
A frog can occasionally appear in the backyard.
When you find it, use the anvil to squash it and obtain the collectible.
House 2 Desert Tips
The desert is one of the more confusing areas to navigate, especially when you’re trying to find the underground routes and collectibles.
A good way to navigate is to use recognizable landmarks rather than trying to memorize every path.
The main desert areas include:
- Top-left: Sand piles
- Top-center: Sun tent
- Top-right: Rocks and giant
- Right: Rocks and red stone entrance
- Bottom-right: Mostly empty area
- Bottom: Water pools
- Bottom-left: Forest
- Left: Sun plate near the sand piles
The center of the desert contains several important locations, including the main entrance, yellow gem entrance, gate, and rock.
Use Gem Fragments for Navigation
The colored gem fragments scattered around the desert can also help you navigate.
- Red fragments: Lead toward the cave with the secret door.
- Green fragments: Lead toward the forest.
- Blue and yellow fragments: Can help guide you back toward the center.
Once you become familiar with these landmarks, getting around the desert becomes much easier.
House 2 Moon Plate Locations
The Moon plates are located underground and are needed for the Moon Totem collectible.
One plate can be found near the area with the boy beside the fire. Travel toward the far bottom-left area and look for a pile of sand between four large piles. You’ll need a stone to activate the pressure plate.
Another two plates are located after passing through the gate in the same area. Take the gate on the far right and head downward toward the candle-filled area. There are entrances on both sides, with a pressure plate on each side.
Continue downward through the candle room to reach the spike-filled room. Another pressure plate can be found at the top near the mummy.
Another plate is located in the room containing the blue gem. You’ll need to navigate through the spikes to reach it.
The final known plate is located in a narrow room with one or two mummies. Head toward the far back-right side of the room, past the exit.
Once all six Moon plates have been activated, you can continue toward the Moon Totem.
Getting 100% completion in House 2 is definitely not something you’ll finish in one normal playthrough. The game encourages you to experiment with the house, characters, different tendencies, endings, and hidden areas.
I’d personally start by playing through the game naturally before worrying about achievements. Once you understand how the house works, use the Pure route to save everyone and then return for the Corruption route to kill everyone. From there, most of the remaining achievements are about exploration, collectibles, challenges, and discovering different ways to die.
The biggest thing to remember is that some content only becomes available after you’ve completed certain endings. So if an achievement seems impossible early on, don’t assume you’re missing something obvious. Continue progressing through the game and return to it later.
With a little planning and a checklist, you can work through the endings, hidden collectibles, phone calls, death methods, and challenge achievements one by one until you finally unlock Completionist.
