Eventually, you’ll be teleported into The Deep.
This can feel a little strange the first time because there isn’t a giant entrance sitting in front of you. You’ll basically be sailing along and then suddenly find yourself in the new area.
If nothing happens, don’t immediately assume you’ve done something wrong. Check your position and make sure you’re actually heading straight toward the required area.
What to Do When You First Enter The Deep
If this is your first time entering The Deep, you’ll find a boat waiting near the starting area.
This boat is important because it gives you the device you need to begin the first quest.
Make sure you interact with it and obtain the device before heading deeper into the area.
Once you’ve got it, you’re ready to start the quest.
Where to Take the Device
After collecting the device, your next job is pretty straightforward.
You want to head straight down into The Deep.
Keep moving downward and you’ll eventually start seeing buildings.
This is where you need to take the device.
When you reach the correct NPC, make sure you still have the device in your hand and talk to the NPC.
The NPC will take the device and you’ll complete the first quest.
So, if you’re standing around wondering why nothing is happening, check that you’re actually holding the device when talking to the NPC.
How to Reach the Area Where You Can Breathe
Once you’ve finished the first quest, you’re not quite done exploring The Deep.
To reach the actual area where you can breathe, simply continue heading straight down.
Keep moving deeper into the area and you’ll eventually reach the section you’re looking for.
There’s no complicated puzzle involved here. Once the first quest is completed, it’s mainly a matter of continuing down the path.
