The latest Animal Hospital update added six new achievements for players to unlock. Some of them are extremely easy and can be completed during a normal shift, while others require reaching specific story locations or progressing through quests.
The game does not clearly explain the requirements for these mystery achievements in the journal, which can make figuring them out frustrating. Fortunately, each of the six achievements has a specific requirement.

How to Get the Green Experiment Achievement
To unlock the Green Experiment achievement, you need to create a green consumable experiment.
The important thing to remember is that anomalies are required for this type of experiment. Collect a DNA sample from an anomaly and use it in the laboratory to create the appropriate experiment.
Once you successfully make the green consumable, the achievement should unlock.
Green experiments are consumables, meaning your character drinks them when you pick them up.
How to Get the Purple Experiment Achievement
The Purple Experiment achievement is also obtained through the laboratory.
Create a purple experiment using the DNA samples and experiment system. Unlike the green consumable experiments, these experiments can be used on other patients.
After creating the purple experiment successfully, you can pick it up and splash it onto a patient to trigger its effect.
Simply creating the required purple experiment is enough to unlock the achievement.
How to Get the Dr. Harlow’s Office Achievement
This achievement requires progressing through the game’s shifts.
You need to reach Shift 16 and gain access to Dr. Harlow’s Office.
Once you successfully enter Dr. Harlow’s Office, the achievement will unlock.
Unfortunately, this is one of the achievements that cannot be completed instantly. You will need to progress through shifts until you reach the required point in the game.
How to Get the A Friend’s Place Achievement
To unlock A Friend’s Place, you need to complete Liz’s quest line and reach her apartment.
Once Liz’s quest has been completed and you visit her apartment, the achievement should unlock.
Be careful while completing Liz’s quest. Taking a photo of the wrong person or anomaly during the quest can mess up your progress and potentially force you to restart the quest line.
Because of this, make sure you know exactly which target you need before taking important photographs.
How to Get the Kaboom Achievement
The Kaboom achievement is one of the simplest achievements in the update.
You need to fail an experiment in the laboratory and cause it to explode.
In other words, create an experiment and intentionally mess it up until it results in an explosion.
Once the experiment goes kaboom, you should receive the achievement.
How to Get the Clown Achievement
The Clown achievement requires encountering and completing the clown event.
When you find the clown, interact with him and continue talking to him through the different stages of the encounter.
Keep interacting with him, including responding to his balloon-related dialogue. Eventually, the clown will disappear into the back room.
Once the encounter is completed, the Clown achievement will unlock.
You may also find a pamphlet or newspaper item left behind after the event.
Important: Some Achievements Must Be Completed Again
One frustrating detail about these achievements is that players who completed certain content before the achievement update may need to complete it again.
For example, if you had already reached Dr. Harlow’s Office or completed Liz’s quest line before the new achievements were added, the game may not automatically award the achievement.
This means you may need to repeat those requirements on a new run to unlock them.
The Fastest Way to Unlock All 6 Achievements
If you want to collect everything efficiently, start with the easier laboratory achievements first.
- Complete the Clown encounter when it appears.
- Create a Purple Experiment.
- Find an anomaly and collect the necessary DNA for a Green Experiment.
- Intentionally fail an experiment to unlock Kaboom.
- Continue progressing until Shift 16 to enter Dr. Harlow’s Office.
- Carefully complete Liz’s quest line to reach her apartment and unlock A Friend’s Place.
The first four achievements can generally be completed much faster, while Dr. Harlow’s Office and A Friend’s Place require significantly more progression.
The six new Animal Hospital achievements are mostly straightforward once you know what their hidden requirements actually are. The biggest challenge is that the achievement journal does not clearly tell you how to unlock them.
The laboratory achievements are the quickest ones to collect, while reaching Dr. Harlow’s Office and completing Liz’s quest line will require more time and progression.
