If you want to get and use the Phantom Express Ticket in Steal an Egg, you need to complete a specific quest and do some fishing. The ticket is important because it allows you to access the Phantom Express when the mysterious train appears in the game.
In this guide, I will explain how to unlock the ticket, where you need to fish to obtain it, and how to use it when the Phantom Express arrives. I will also explain when the train can spawn so you know how long you might need to wait.
Let’s go through each step so you can get your Phantom Express Ticket and be ready when the train appears.
How to Get and Use Phantom Express Ticket in Steal an Egg
The first thing you need to do is complete Echo Dog’s quest. You can find Echo Dog in the designated quest area in Steal an Egg.
Before trying to obtain the Phantom Express Ticket, make sure you have finished the quest. This is an important requirement because you need to complete it before you can start fishing for the ticket.
If you have not completed Echo Dog’s quest yet, focus on finishing it first. Once the quest is complete, you can move on to the next step.
Step 2: Fish to Get the Phantom Express Ticket
After completing Echo Dog’s quest, you can start fishing to obtain the Phantom Express Ticket.
Head to the fishing spot associated with the quest and continue fishing until you trigger the minigame that allows you to obtain the ticket.
Here is what you need to do:
- Complete Echo Dog’s quest.
- Go to the fishing location.
- Start fishing and keep trying.
- Wait for the ticket-related minigame to appear.
- Complete the minigame to obtain the Phantom Express Ticket.
You may need to fish for a while before the minigame appears, so don’t worry if you do not get the ticket immediately. Keep trying until you successfully obtain it.
Tip: Make sure Echo Dog’s quest is completed before spending time fishing for the ticket. This helps you follow the intended unlock process.
Step 3: Wait for the Phantom Express to Spawn
Once you have the Phantom Express Ticket, you need to wait for the Phantom Express train to appear.
The train spawns randomly at night, so you cannot necessarily use your ticket whenever you want. You will need to stay near the train’s designated location and wait for it to arrive.
The reported spawn interval is approximately 30 minutes to one hour, although the exact timing can vary because the train appears randomly.
While waiting, make sure you have your ticket ready. Without it, you will not be prepared to use the train when it arrives.
Step 4: How to Use the Phantom Express Ticket
When the Phantom Express finally appears, head over to the train and interact with the available ticket option.
If you have already obtained the ticket, you should be able to select the option to use it when the train arrives.
Follow these steps:
- Make sure you have the Phantom Express Ticket in your inventory.
- Wait until nighttime for the train to appear.
- Go to the train’s location when it spawns.
- Interact with the train.
- Select the option to use your ticket.
The most important thing is to obtain the ticket before the train appears. This way, you will be ready to use it instead of having to return to fishing and start the process again.
