How to Get Trident Bucket in Drain the Lake – Jewel Bucket
The Trident Bucket is a hidden bucket added with the Atlantis Update.
Unlocking it also rewards the Lost Trident badge, making it a must-have for players trying to collect every bucket in the game.
However, before you can claim it, you’ll first need another special bucket.
Prerequisite: Get the Jewel Bucket
Before attempting the Trident Bucket quest, you’ll need the Jewel Bucket.
According to the update, this bucket is obtained by completing the second Hidden Treasure ending.
If you haven’t unlocked the Jewel Bucket yet, focus on completing that secret ending first, as the Atlantis puzzle cannot be completed without it.
Without the Jewel Bucket, you’ll receive a message saying that your current bucket isn’t worthy.
Step 1: Start a New Game
Once you have the Jewel Bucket, join a new game and begin draining the lake as normal.
Keep progressing through the checkpoints until you reach the newer Atlantis-themed section of the map.
The exact checkpoint can vary because parts of the map are now randomized.
Most players will encounter it around:
- Checkpoint 4
- Checkpoint 5
- Checkpoint 6
Step 2: Find the Atlantis Door
As you continue draining water, look around the green Atlantis area for a large stone door.
Interact with it and you’ll see a message similar to:
“The bowl is not filled.”
This confirms you’ve found the correct location.
Don’t worry—you can’t open it yet.
Step 3: Continue Draining the Water
Keep clearing more of the lake until you eventually discover a Jewel Bowl.
This bowl is separate from the Atlantis door and usually appears after progressing a little further into the level.
Step 4: Fill the Jewel Bowl
Equip your Jewel Bucket.
Fill it with water and interact with the Jewel Bowl.
Only the Jewel Bucket works for this puzzle.
If you try using another bucket, you’ll receive a message saying something similar to:
“This bucket is not worthy.”
Once the bowl has been filled, the puzzle is complete.
Can Another Player Fill the Bowl?
Yes.
Only one player needs to fill the bowl.
If someone else has already completed this step, everyone else in the server can still continue to the next part.
Step 5: Return to the Atlantis Door
Go back to the Atlantis door you found earlier.
The message will now say:
“The bowl is now filled.”
Hold the interaction key (E) to open the entrance.
The hidden chamber will now be accessible.
Step 6: Claim the Trident Bucket
Inside the secret Atlantis room you’ll find the Trident Bucket resting in the centre.
Walk up to it and hold E to collect it.
Once picked up, you’ll unlock the Lost Trident badge.
Important: Only One Player Can Collect It
There’s one thing to be aware of.
Only one player can claim the Trident Bucket during each server session.
As soon as someone picks it up:
- The bucket disappears.
- Other players won’t be able to collect it.
- You’ll need to join another server or wait for a fresh game.
If you’re playing with friends, decide who will grab it first before opening the Atlantis room.
New Crafting Bench
The Atlantis Update also introduces a Crafting Bench.
Here you’ll be able to craft several useful machines and upgrades.
Some recipes require:
- Batteries
- Generators
- Other crafting materials found inside treasure chests
These machines help automate parts of the game, making future runs much easier.
Auto Drainer
One of the most useful new additions is the Auto Drainer.
After crafting and placing it:
- It automatically removes water over time.
- It continues working while you’re progressing.
- It appears at future checkpoints after being unlocked.
- You only need to purchase it once.

Speed Pad
Another useful addition is the Speed Pad.
