Ever since Update 2.0 launched, one question has completely dominated the Bridger: Western community: how do you unlock Tusk Act 4? After finally seeing players complete the questline and test the stand in combat, it’s safe to say that Tusk Act 4 was worth the wait. The obtainment process isn’t exactly quick, though. You’ll need to invest heavily into Spin progression, complete multiple quests, and spend a decent amount of cash before you can even activate its powers.
The good news is that once you understand the requirements, the entire process becomes much easier to follow.
Here’s everything you need to know about unlocking and using Tusk Act 4.
Tusk Act 4 Requirements
Before you can even begin working toward Tusk Act 4, you’ll need to meet a few important requirements.
Prerequisites
You must have:
- Tusk Act 1
- Tusk Act 2
- Tusk Act 3
- Fully upgraded Spin
- Around 25,000 cash for Spin progression
If you’re missing any of these requirements, you’ll need to complete them first before the questline becomes available.
One easy way to tell whether your Spin is fully upgraded is by checking for the Gyro Face progression. If you’ve unlocked that stage, you’re ready to move forward.
Find Gyro and Start the Questline
After obtaining Tusk Act 3 and maxing out Spin, you’ll need to locate Gyro again.
Once you speak with him, he’ll offer a new quest related to Ultimate Spin progression.
This is where the real grind begins.
Kill Six Unique Stand Users
The first major challenge requires you to defeat six unique Stand users.
The keyword here is unique.
You cannot repeatedly defeat the same player or farm alternate accounts.
Quest Requirement
You must:
- Defeat six different players
- Each player must be using a Stand
- Use Tusk during the kills
This requirement exists specifically to prevent players from cheesing the progression.
After completing all six eliminations, return to Gyro.
Complete the Golden Rotation Race
Once the PvP objective is finished, Gyro gives you a second quest.
This quest requires:
- Paying 15,000 cash
- Participating in a special race
During the race, you’ll need to follow a Golden Spin path around the map.
Thankfully, this portion is much easier than the PvP challenge and mostly comes down to following the route correctly.
After finishing the race, return to Gyro once again.
Unlock Ultimate Spin
Completing the race rewards you with Ultimate Spin.
This is the final progression step required before activating Tusk Act 4.
Without Ultimate Spin, you won’t be able to enter the Infinite Rotation state needed for the transformation.
How to Activate Tusk Act 4
This is where many players get confused.
Unlike previous Tusk evolutions, Tusk Act 4 is not permanently active.
Instead, it functions as a temporary transformation mode.
Activation Steps
- Mount your horse.
- Charge your Spin.
- Press X.
- Interact with Golden Rotations around the map.
- Collect multiple Golden Rotations.
- Begin riding your horse.
- Enter Infinite Rotation Mode.
- Activate Tusk Act 4.
Once activated, Tusk transforms into its Act 4 state for the duration of your active Spin bar.
Think of it as an ultimate form rather than a permanent evolution.
Because of this, timing your activation becomes incredibly important during PvP encounters.
Tusk Act 4 Abilities
The stand gains several powerful attacks while transformed.
Let’s break down each one.
Basic Barrage Shot
The first ability launches a nail shot toward an opponent.
If it connects, Tusk rushes the target and follows up with a barrage attack.
This move works well as an opener because it immediately forces your opponent into close-range pressure.
T Skill – Wormhole Assault
The T ability creates a wormhole beneath the battlefield.
Tusk travels through the wormhole and emerges underneath the enemy.
After appearing, it launches a powerful strike that sends the target flying.
This ability is excellent for catching players who think they’ve escaped your attack range.
R Skill – Golden Rotation Barrage
This is one of the flashiest moves in the entire kit.
When activated:
- Golden Spin projectiles launch into the sky.
- The projectiles fall back down.
- Tusk teleports between impact locations.
- Multiple Spin attacks hit the target.
The move deals significant damage while creating chaos during fights.
G Skill – Infinite Rotation Ball
This ability throws a Spin Ball directly at an opponent.
If it lands successfully, the Infinite Rotation effect activates.
The target becomes trapped and heavily pressured, making it extremely difficult for them to fight back effectively.
This is one of the strongest crowd-control abilities in the entire Tusk Act 4 arsenal.
Tusk Act 4 Ultimate Move
The stand also has access to a powerful cinematic attack.
How to Trigger the Ultimate
To activate it:
- Collect four Golden Rotations.
- Enter Golden Rotation Mode.
- Mount your horse.
- Target an opponent riding a horse.
- Successfully land the attack.
If everything connects, a special cutscene plays.
The move knocks the enemy from their horse and unleashes a devastating Infinite Rotation attack sequence.
Besides dealing heavy damage, it’s easily one of the coolest animations currently available in Bridger: Western.
Tusk Act 4 isn’t just another stand upgrade—it’s essentially a new combat mode built around Ultimate Spin and Infinite Rotation. While the unlock process requires maxed Spin, six unique player kills, a special race, and Ultimate Spin progression, the result is one of the most powerful transformations currently available in Bridger: Western.
If you’re starting the grind today, focus on maxing Spin first. Everything else in the questline depends on that progression. Once you’ve unlocked Ultimate Spin and mastered Golden Rotations, you’ll be ready to unleash the full power of Tusk Act 4.
