The Water Park Wade quest is one of the first activities you’ll come across after entering the new FishFest Water Park in Fisch. At first glance, it seems like you’re supposed to unclog pipes immediately, but there’s actually a short set of fishing objectives you need to finish before the quest progresses.
If you’re confused about where to fish or why the quest isn’t updating, here’s exactly how the Water Park Wade quest works.
How to Unclog Pipes & Water Park Wade Quest in Fisch
Head to the FishFest Water Park and speak with Water Park Wade.
After talking to him, you’ll receive a quest that asks you to help restore the park’s water system. Before you can start unclogging the pipes, you’ll need to complete a few fishing challenges around the Water Park.
Step 1: Catch 5 Fish in the Water Park Pool
Your first objective is straightforward.
Go to the main swimming pool inside the Water Park and start fishing there.
You need to catch:
- 5 Fish in the Water Park Pool
Only fish caught inside the designated pool count toward the objective, so make sure you’re standing in the correct area before casting your line.
Once you’ve caught your fifth fish, the objective will automatically complete.
Step 2: Catch 5 Fish in the Lazy River
After finishing the pool challenge, head over to the Lazy River.
Fish from the Lazy River until you’ve caught:
- 5 Fish in the Lazy River
If your progress doesn’t increase after your first cast, don’t panic. The quest only counts successful catches from the correct fishing area.
Once you begin catching fish in the proper section of the Lazy River, the objective should update normally.
Step 3: Catch 5 Fish in the Water Park Slides
The final fishing objective requires you to catch:
- 5 Fish in the Water Park Slides
The intended fishing spots are located near the bottom of the water slides, where you can cast your rod into the water.
However, there’s one important thing to know.
Water Park Slides Quest Bug
At the time of this update, the Water Park Slides objective appears to be bugged for many players.
Even if you stand in the correct location and fish at the bottom of the slides, your catches may not count toward the quest.
This isn’t something you’re doing wrong—it appears to be an issue with the current version of the game.
If you’re stuck on this objective:
- Make sure you’re fishing at the bottom of the slides.
- Try switching servers to see if the progress updates.
- If it still doesn’t work, you’ll likely need to wait for the developers to release a fix.
Since this is a game-side bug, there isn’t a guaranteed workaround yet.
How to Unclog the Pipes
Once all of the required fishing objectives are completed, the quest continues with the pipe-cleaning portion.
Wade will ask you to collect additional quest items needed to clear the blocked pipes and restore the Water Park’s water system.
The later objectives are much simpler and mainly involve gathering the requested items before returning them to Wade.
If you’re currently unable to reach this stage because of the Water Park Slides bug, you’ll have to wait until the issue is patched.

The Water Park Wade quest is fairly easy once you know where each fishing area is. The pool and Lazy River objectives can be completed in just a few minutes, but the Water Park Slides section may temporarily stop your progress because of a known bug.
Until the developers release a fix, there’s unfortunately no guaranteed way to complete that specific objective if it isn’t tracking correctly. Once it’s patched, you should be able to finish the remaining tasks, unclog the pipes, and claim your rewards without much trouble.
