Hungry Horrors Achievements Guide – How to Unlock Every

Hungry Horrors is a game where you explore different areas, defeat bosses, complete quests, and discover secrets along the way. If you want to unlock every achievement, you will need to progress through the different doors, interact with specific characters, and collect special items hidden throughout your adventures.

In this post, we will tell you how to unlock all achievements in Hungry Horrors, including Hats Off, Look What the Cat Dragged In, A Matter of Taste, Salt of the Earth, Piece of Cake, and many more. We will explain where you need to go, which bosses you need to defeat, and what items you need to collect to complete each achievement.

Hungry Horrors Achievements Guide – How to Unlock Every

Some achievements are unlocked naturally as you play, while others require you to complete specific tasks or find certain NPCs. Follow this guide to make your achievement hunt easier and avoid missing important rewards during your journey.

1. Hats Off Achievement

To unlock the Hats Off achievement, you need to interact with the princess by clicking on her a few times.

This is one of the simpler achievements in Hungry Horrors, so you do not need to complete a dungeon or defeat a boss. Find the princess and keep clicking on her until the achievement unlocks.

2. Look What the Cat Dragged In Achievement

For this achievement, you need to find and pet the black cat in the lobby.

Follow these steps:

  1. Return to the lobby.
  2. Find the black cat near the exit door.
  3. Interact with the cat and pet it.

Once you have petted the black cat, the Look What the Cat Dragged In achievement should unlock.

3. A Matter of Taste Achievement

To unlock A Matter of Taste, you need to use the Brahan Seer’s Taste Test.

Head to the appropriate location and interact with the Brahan Seer to use the Taste Test. Once you have completed this interaction, you should receive the achievement.

This is a special interaction-based achievement, so make sure you find the correct character rather than focusing only on dungeon progression.

4. The Rest of Them Achievement

This achievement is generally earned naturally as you continue playing Hungry Horrors.

Keep exploring the game, completing encounters, and progressing through the different areas. If you are missing any achievements, check their individual requirements because some require specific interactions or optional objectives.

5. Salt of the Earth Achievement

To unlock Salt of the Earth, you need to complete the Caves, which is the first door.

Enter the Caves and work your way through the area until you reach the end. Complete the encounters and defeat the final challenge to clear the location.

Once you have successfully completed the Caves, the Salt of the Earth achievement should unlock.

6. Piece of Cake Achievement

Piece of Cake is one of the easiest achievements to obtain because it only requires you to complete the tutorial.

If you are starting a new game, follow the introductory instructions and finish the tutorial section. You should receive the achievement once the tutorial is complete.

If you have already completed the tutorial, check your achievement list to see whether it has been registered.

7. Out of the Woods Achievement

For Out of the Woods, you need to clear the Forest, which is the second door.

Enter the Forest and progress through the area, completing the encounters until you defeat its final boss.

After clearing the Forest, the achievement should unlock automatically.

8. Bog Standard Achievement

Bog Standard requires you to complete the Bog, which is the third door.

Head into the Bog and make your way through the dungeon. You will need to progress through its encounters and defeat the final boss.

Once the Bog has been cleared, you should receive the Bog Standard achievement.

Make sure you explore the boss room carefully afterward, as it is also important for unlocking another achievement.

9. Grass Is Always Greener Achievement

To unlock Grass Is Always Greener, you need to clear the Meadows, which is the fourth door.

Enter the Meadows and complete the dungeon until you defeat the boss at the end.

Once you have cleared the area, the achievement should unlock. You will also need to defeat this boss for the Spice of Life achievement, so keep an eye out for the special item you can collect afterward.

10. The Talk of the Town Achievement

The Talk of the Town achievement requires you to clear the Town, which is the fifth door.

Progress through the Town, complete the encounters, and defeat the final boss to finish the area.

After clearing the Town, you should unlock the achievement. Be sure to collect the rose from the boss room, as you will need it for the Mirror Mirror on the Wall achievement.

11. Feeling Familiar Achievement

Feeling Familiar requires you to visit the quest room in the Woods and speak with the Hunter.

Follow these steps to get started:

  1. Head to the Woods and locate the quest room.
  2. Find the Hunter inside.
  3. Talk to the Hunter and complete the required interaction.
  4. Obtain a pet to unlock the achievement.

After unlocking your first pet, you can also find additional pets randomly in dungeon rooms as you continue exploring.

If you enjoy collecting companions, make sure you check the rooms you visit instead of rushing straight toward the next encounter.

12. Catch of the Day Achievement

Catch of the Day requires you to defeat the Bog’s final boss, collect a special item, and use it to obtain a fishing rod.

Here is how to unlock it:

  1. Enter the Bog through the third door.
  2. Progress through the dungeon and defeat the final boss.
  3. Collect the item described in the guide as a worm.
  4. Find Wvlver, the wolf, in the Bog.
  5. Give the worm to Wvlver to receive a fishing rod.
  6. Use the fishing rod to catch a fish.

Once you have successfully caught a fish using the fishing rod, the Catch of the Day achievement should unlock.

Make sure you complete the boss encounter first, as the item needed for this quest becomes available afterward.

13. Spice of Life Achievement

To unlock Spice of Life, you need to defeat the boss in the Meadows, which is the fourth door.

After defeating the boss, collect the special item described as alms in the achievement guide.

Next, find Feat Gorta and give them the item. Completing this interaction should unlock the Spice of Life achievement.

Remember that defeating the Meadows boss is not the only requirement. You also need to collect the item and deliver it to the correct character.

14. Mirror Mirror on the Wall Achievement

Mirror Mirror on the Wall requires you to repair a mirror by completing the Town and delivering a rose to Ellen More.

Follow these steps:

  1. Enter the Town through the fifth door.
  2. Progress through the dungeon and defeat the final boss.
  3. Collect the rose after the fight.
  4. Find Ellen More.
  5. Give the rose to Ellen More to complete the mirror-related task.

After completing the interaction, you should unlock the Mirror Mirror on the Wall achievement.

Make sure you collect the rose before leaving the boss area so that you do not have to repeat the dungeon unnecessarily.

15. A Pinch of Salt Achievement

For A Pinch of Salt, you need to collect coal from the end of the Caves and deliver it to a specific man in the same area.

Here is what you need to do:

  1. Enter the Caves through the first door.
  2. Progress through the dungeon until you reach the end.
  3. Collect the coal.
  4. Find the man in the Caves.
  5. Give him the coal to unlock the achievement.

This achievement requires you to complete the necessary dungeon progression and interact with the correct NPC. If you cannot find the man immediately, explore the area carefully before leaving.

16. A Matter of Taste: Finding the Man in the Caves

The achievement guide also describes another step involving a man in the Caves.

To complete this task, enter the Caves and look for the campfire room. You will find a man there who is associated with the Taste Test interaction.

Speak with him and complete the required interaction to work toward the A Matter of Taste achievement.

If the achievement does not unlock immediately, make sure you have used the Brahan Seer’s Taste Test as required.

Unlocking every achievement in Hungry Horrors becomes much easier when you know which areas to clear and which characters to visit. Start by completing the tutorial and progressing through the five main doors: the Caves, Forest, Bog, Meadows, and Town.

After clearing each area, take some time to collect special items and speak with NPCs. The worm, rose, coal, and Meadows boss reward are particularly important for unlocking several of the game’s achievements.

You should also remember the smaller tasks, such as petting the black cat, clicking on the princess, and speaking with the Hunter to obtain a pet. These are easy to overlook if you focus only on completing dungeons.

Follow the steps in this guide, check off each achievement as you unlock it, and you will be well on your way to completing your Hungry Horrors achievement collection.
