You heard that correctly. Mario Kart Tour is officially coming to mobile devices next month!
Following in the footsteps of Mario Run, the beloved racing game that has been enjoyed by millions worldwide on multiple different Nintendo devices is finally arriving on IOS and Android. In a tweet by Nintendo America, the tech giant revealed that it has been working on a brand new Mario Kart game which they are naming Mario Kart Tour. They also gave us an official release date.

Many details about Mario Kart Tour are unknown at the moment, but we do know that it will hit the Apple App Store and Google Play on September 25th.
We presume it will be free to play like the other Nintendo mobile games, but we can’t rule out the possibility that it could cost money. If it does turn out to be free to play, it will definitely contain in-app purchases. Mario Run handled microtransactions badly by asking users to purchase levels. Hopefully, Mario Kart Tour handles this much better.
I don’t know about you, but I’m really excited for MKT. Mario Kart is one of my all-time favourite video games and it will be so nice to finally play it once again
This is a developing story and any new information will be updated here.
