If you are playing It’s Fine and want to unlock all of the achievements and hidden secrets, this guide will help you find the trickier ones without having to figure everything out yourself. In this post, I will go through the normal achievements first and then explain the hidden secrets step by step.
A lot of the achievements are fairly straightforward, but some require specific prestige upgrades, luck stacking, certain characters, or particular actions during a run. A few of the secrets are even easier to miss because they are hidden around the room, menu, or other parts of the game.
So, if you are going for full completion, let’s go through the achievements and secrets one by one. There are spoilers throughout this guide, so keep that in mind before reading further.
Normal Achievements
Most achievements in It’s Fine are relatively easy to understand, but some have specific requirements that aren’t immediately obvious.
Back to Work!
To unlock Back to Work!, you need to have 10 idle Minibots at the Robotics Bay.
Once you have them there, purchase the Enforcer Megabot.
The Enforcer Megabot prioritizes attacking idle Minibots, so once you have the required number sitting around, the achievement should unlock fairly quickly.
Bombardilo
For Bombardilo, you need to avoid putting points into the Botfarm Speed and Virality prestige nodes.
Instead, get the Laser Rifles prestige node for Minibots and the Lightning Strike prestige node for Peanut.
After that, assign as many Minibots as possible to the Botfarm.
Now wait for lightning to strike and trigger all the phones. Once everything lines up correctly, you should get the achievement.
Cat > Dog
This one is very simple.
Open the Company Credit Card panel and purchase:
- Jinx
- Shiro
Once you have purchased both, the achievement should unlock.
Gardeneer
For Gardeneer, invest in the Straw Hat prestige node.
Then let the Gardener bot take care of a complete growth cycle on one of the Garden plots.
Once the full cycle is completed, you should unlock the achievement.
Legend Has It
For Legend Has It, you want to invest in the Print Mastery prestige nodes and stack as much luck as possible.
After that, use the 3D Printer and keep rolling until you get a Legendary artifact.
With enough luck, you should be able to get one relatively quickly.
Lost in Translation
For Lost in Translation, stack luck and unlock the relevant Localization Station prestige nodes.
Then complete as many localization demands as possible.
You are looking for a rare Timeline Bonus, which has a purple outline.
Once you obtain the required bonus, the achievement should unlock.
Oppenmeower
For Oppenmeower, stack your Crunch levels and then go on a deep run.
According to the guide, this becomes fairly easy around Timeline 3 and beyond, so you shouldn’t have too much trouble once you reach that point.
Real Civil
For Real Civil, max out the Localizers Quantity prestige node.
Then, during a single run, complete demands for all five aliens.
Make sure you complete the requirements for all five in the same run.
Real Time Marketing
For Real Time Marketing, you need to accumulate a large amount of Line of Code, which is the currency represented by floppy disks.
This should become much easier during a deep run, particularly around the time you are close to or have already beaten the base game.
The Clickers Clique
For The Clickers Clique, you need to get four Auto-Cursors from the prestige tree.
After that, you have two options.
You can either:
- Purchase the Betty Megabot, or
- Find and equip the Cookie unique artifact from the 3D Printer.
Once the requirement is met, the achievement should unlock.
Toxic Positivity
The maximum Toxicity level is 5.
You should be able to reach it in roughly 4–5 timeline jumps.
This achievement becomes much easier once you have already beaten the base game and have access to more progression options.
Secrets
There are several hidden secrets throughout It’s Fine, and some of them require you to interact with things that are very easy to overlook.
Find the Secret Playtester
At the end of the credits, you will see a list of playtesters.
Keep watching the names because one of them will randomly appear as SECRET PLAYTESTER.
Click on the name when you see it to unlock the secret.
Find the Key to the Basement
Look toward the bottom-left corner of the room.
You will find a key on the wall, but you can’t simply pick it up normally.
First, you need to purchase Jinx.
Once you have Jinx, place your cursor near her and keep it still. After a few seconds, Jinx will fixate on the cursor and jump toward it.
Position your cursor between Jinx and the key.
When Jinx reaches the key, she will grab it.
Now click the key to reveal the basement.
Think Outside the Garden
Use the Garden funnel to water all of the plants in the room.
This includes the Cactus and Succulents room upgrades.
Once you have watered everything required, the secret will unlock.
It Thrives in Stormy Weather
First, unlock the third Garden challenge.
This gives plants access to the Giga-Growth phase.
You will also need Peanut’s Lightning Strike unlocked, which gives you access to the Lightning Rod room upgrade.
The Lightning Rod allows lightning to hit the Garden.
Now grow a plant completely, but do not harvest it.
Wait for lightning to strike the fully grown plant.
When lightning hits it while it is in that state, the plant will grow into a new, larger state and the secret should unlock.
Trap a Pet Fly
First, unlock the first Garden challenge.
Then go to sleep.
After you wake up, check underneath the computer. You should find an empty jar.
Drag the jar over to one of the Garden plots.
Doing this will allow you to catch a firefly and unlock the secret.
Win a Game of Simon
Look to the left of the Botfarm.
One of the three lightbulbs there will occasionally blink.
When you see it blink, click it to start a small Simon minigame.
Complete the minigame to unlock the secret.
Get Really Lucky
For this secret, you need to stack at least 12 Luck on the 3D Printer.
Once you have enough luck, keep rolling artifacts.
You are looking for the Uber-Legendary Mirror of Ardnalak.
Find and print it to unlock the secret.
Joe’s Important Note
First, zoom in as far as possible.
A small note should appear on the fridge.
Click the note to reveal a message from Joe explaining that there is an important message on the third CD from the top.
Now look at the stack of CDs on the right side of the room.
Click the third CD from the top to get the surprise from Joe and unlock the secret.
It’s Falling the Wrong Way
Press ESC to open the pause menu.
You should see several Joes falling down from the top of the screen.
Wait in the pause menu for a while.
Eventually, a horizontally flipped Joe will appear at the bottom and fly upward instead.
Click that Joe to unlock the secret.
Cheat to Activate Godmode Joe
This one is extremely simple.
During gameplay, type:
iddqd
Entering the code will activate Godmode Joe and unlock the secret.
The Backrooms / Noclip Out of Reality
For this secret, you need to have one or fewer servers installed in the Cloud Servers rack.
Then click the Fusebox to the left.
A wall will be revealed inside the rack.
Look for the arrow on the wall and click the location it points toward.
This will unlock the secret.
Hidden Platformer Stage
Go to the Main Menu.
Hold down D.
A figure should fall from the top of the screen, and platforms will appear.
Now use:
- WASD
- Space
to move and jump between the platforms.
Collect the star at the end to unlock the hidden platformer secret.
Feed It and Evolve It
First, unlock the Megabots panel from the 3D Printer.
Then go to sleep.
Afterward, a small box should appear near the Robotics Bay. It costs Enriched Purranium and Scrap to unlock.
Pay the required materials to unlock a Megabot that rolls around the room and occasionally uses its vacuum to collect dust.
Once it has collected 10 dust, it will stop moving.
While it is in this state, click Dustin to feed and evolve him.
This will unlock the secret.
Look to the Stars
Go to the prestige Dreamtree.
There you will find stars that can be toggled.
Use the picture located to the right of the Cloud Servers rack as your reference.
Toggle the stars in the same order shown in the picture to unlock the secret.
Secret Barn Ending
The Secret Barn Ending requires a little more work because you need to unlock another secret first.
Step 1: Trap the Pet Fly
First, unlock the Trap a Pet Fly secret by completing the jar and firefly requirement.
Step 2: Finish the Game
Continue playing until you finish the main game.
After completing it, you can return to the room and continue playing normally.
Step 3: Perform a Timeline Jump
Perform a timeline jump.
When you start the fresh run, look underneath the computer.
You should now see the jar containing the fly.
Unlike before, the jar is now draggable.
Step 4: Find the Chickens
Look around the room for the hidden chicken silhouettes.
They are hidden in the dark background, so you may need to look carefully.
Drag the jar over each chicken.
Doing this will light up and free the chickens.
You need to free all of them.
Step 5: Enter the Yellow Portal
Once you have freed all the chickens, a new yellow portal will appear in the timelines scene.
Perform another timeline jump and enter the yellow portal.
This will unlock and start the Secret Barn Ending.
That’s everything you need to work through the achievements and secrets in It’s Fine. While many of the normal achievements can be unlocked naturally, some of the hidden ones require very specific actions that are easy to miss.
If you’re going for full completion, I recommend working through the prestige-related achievements alongside your normal progression and keeping the secret interactions in mind as you unlock new areas and upgrades.
The Secret Barn Ending is also worth saving for after you have finished the main game, since it requires the Pet Fly secret and a completed game before you can access the final portal.
