Jujutsu Zero Shadow Island Guide – How to Get the ??? Ticket

The latest Jujutsu Zero update introduces Shadow Island, a brand-new area where players can begin the 10 Shadows progression. However, unlike normal locations, you can’t simply walk in whenever you want.

To access Shadow Island, you’ll first need a special ??? Ticket, and many players are confused about where it comes from and how to farm it efficiently.

The good news is that getting the ticket is actually pretty straightforward once you know where to grind. Here’s everything you need to know, from farming the ticket to starting the 10 Shadows questline.

What Is the ??? Ticket?

The ??? Ticket is a special consumable item required to enter Shadow Island.

Without it, the Shadow Island NPC won’t let you travel to the new area.

Keep in mind that the ticket is consumed when you use it to teleport, so make sure you’re ready before entering.

How to Get the ??? Ticket

The ticket is obtained as a boss drop.

According to players, it has roughly a 0.5% drop rate, so don’t expect to get it immediately. You might get lucky in just a few kills, or it could take a while depending on your luck.

One player managed to obtain the ticket in around 20 minutes, but your experience may vary.

Fastest Way to Farm the ??? Ticket

Step 1: Open Your Map

Press M on your keyboard to open the world map.

Step 2: Teleport to the Summer Festival Area

From the map, teleport to the Summer Festival.

This is where you’ll be farming the bosses that can drop the ticket.

Step 3: Defeat the Bosses Repeatedly

Your goal is simple:

Keep defeating the available bosses until the ??? Ticket drops.

The update features bosses such as Amanai, and they have a chance to reward the ticket after being defeated.

Since the drop rate is low, consistency is more important than luck.

Boss Spawn Locations

The bosses don’t stay in one place forever.

Instead, they rotate between several spawn points around the Summer Festival area.

If you don’t find one at the first location, check the remaining spawn points nearby.

Players have identified multiple locations where bosses such as Amanai and Yuji can appear, so it’s worth creating a small farming route instead of waiting in a single spot.

A simple loop between all known spawn locations is usually the fastest way to maximize boss kills.

Keep Farming Until the Ticket Drops

Because the drop chance is quite low, don’t get discouraged if nothing appears after your first few attempts.

Simply continue defeating bosses and checking each spawn location.

Eventually, the ??? Ticket will drop.

How to Enter Shadow Island

Once you’ve obtained the ticket, the next part is easy.

Find the Shadow Island NPC

After resetting or returning to the main world, you’ll notice a new Shadow Island NPC.

Interact with the NPC.

You’ll be asked whether you’d like to travel to Shadow Island.

Confirm the prompt, and the NPC will consume your ??? Ticket before teleporting you to the new area.

Requirements Before Entering

Before starting the Shadow Island content, make sure you meet the basic requirements.

You’ll need:

  • A ??? Ticket
  • At least Level 4500
  • Access to the 10 Shadows technique if you want to begin its progression

If you haven’t unlocked the technique yet, you’ll first need to obtain it from the game’s banner system.

Starting the 10 Shadows Questline

After arriving on Shadow Island, your next objective is to begin the progression quests.

Find Megumi

Open your map by pressing M, then locate Megumi.

He’s the NPC responsible for starting the new questline.

Speak with him to receive your first missions.

First Quests

The opening objectives include tasks such as:

  • Completing the Shadow Pillar quest
  • Gathering Shadow Essences

These missions begin your journey through the new 10 Shadows progression system and unlock additional content as you complete them.

Once you’ve started, simply follow the quest tracker to continue advancing.

How to Check Your Progress

You can monitor your progression at any time.

Open the Mastery menu and select 10 Shadows.

Here you’ll see the requirements needed to unlock additional abilities and continue strengthening the technique.

If you’re unsure what to do next, the Mastery tab provides all the objectives required for progression.

Although the ??? Ticket has a low drop rate, unlocking Shadow Island isn’t particularly difficult once you know where to farm. Head to the Summer Festival, repeatedly defeat Amanai, Yuji, and the other event bosses, and keep rotating through their spawn locations until the ticket drops.

After that, simply use the Shadow Island NPC to consume your ticket and enter the new area. From there, talk to Megumi, begin the 10 Shadows questline, and start working through the new progression system introduced in this update.
